Great introduction to decorating/painting strategy

After purchasing the deal, I didn't feel the company was very prompt or responsive getting the work scheduled

We were happy with our design consultation. We had some ideas going in and were able to get feedback on them and come up with more. We talked over the pros and cons of different materials and layout options and ultimately came up with a strategy that fit our budget. They offered a future guided shopping trip at additional cost to introduce us to select vendors and help select the materials for our new kitchen.

I bought this for my mother-in-law. The one tech was at the home for about 45 minutes and it was fine.

The designer, Dana, and contractor arrived at scheduled time at my home. I brought them to my 1950's era bathroom and explained to them that I would like their ideas and pricing on an update to the room and that I'd also consider a total remodel. The contractor brought by Dana immediately gave me a figure of $17,000 at which point I let both of them know that amount was beyond my budget for the project. They offered no less drastic/less expensive options and stated that for "these bathrooms" $17,000 was typical and unavoidable. As there seemed to be nothing else to consider regarding the bathroom and the entire exchange had lasted only 10 minutes, I showed them my kitchen and requested their ideas and dollar estimate. Again, they offered a grand idea, along with it's grand estimate, and did not offer any ideas for a more modest update. At this point, both Dana and contractor seemed anxious to leave so we bid farewell. The following day I emailed Dana in an attempt to again obtain ideas for less aggressive ideas. I received a short reply detailing the quality of her work. I never heard from her again. Bottom line: I feel the money spent on this Big Deal was wasted and would not recommend this designer.

Our house had been on the market for a year w/o any prospects. We had them stage our house and it sold in a month.

She was very open-minded and gave us a multitude of solutions to our needs.

I met with Dana to go over both the kitchen and bathroom. She was good to work with.

The decorator who visited my home was friendly and fun. She talked to me about paint colors, suggested approaches to painting an open concept home, and colors I might use. In addition, we discussed where we would begin decorating my new home with respect to furniture and rugs. Her company can provide a large assortment of services, including contracting electricians, cabinet makers, etc. As soon as I do my homework, we will shop accessories together. Further, she made suggestions without being overbearing and did not deride mine, as some decorators might do. In summary, she was delightful, knowledgeable, and creative. I'm looking forward to working with her.

Dana and Marc came to my home and spent 2 hours consulting with me about our renovation plans. One of the most useful things they did right off the bat was to direct me to several internet sites before our meeting that helped us gage basic costs of remodeling and what to expect. This will be our first time to remodel and we have zero clue as to what things would cost. When we asked other contractors to try to help us understand basic costs and ball park figures, we were not given any information at all and told they would have to draw up designs first (with their design fee of course). The sites were very helpful and helped me have an idea of what we could afford to do. We were undecided as to whether to bump out our kitchen into the back yard or stay within our footprint. We knew we would not be able to do any of our other remodel dreams if we did that. Dana and Marc gave me a lot of pros and cons and told us they were sure they could create a kitchen within our current footprint that would be ideal for us, making it possible to look at bathroom/family room ideas too. They showed us industry guidelines as to costs. When I explained our desires for the kitchen and other areas, they confirmed that they could design a plan with most of our desires that was in the range we felt we could afford. They were wildly creative. Making our kitchen "bigger" and more spacious without a room addition component is very tricky and had most other contractors we talked to convinced we must bump out our kitchen to have any impact. They came up with ideas that no one else we had talked to could envision. Our house is large and the last thing we needed was more square footage, although we wanted a more spacious kitchen. Dana and Marc were incredibly easy to talk to and could really read our design styles and went with it. They did not try to impose their idea of a grand kitchen on us. They really listened to me, observed the things about our house and its decor that I liked and came up with wonderful ideas to think about. In addition, I really enjoyed their sense of humor. This is a scary process and they really made me feel at as much ease as one can feel when contemplating this kind of endeavor. While we finished our due diligence by talking to one more contractor, they were very responsive to email questions that I had after our meeting. After talking with 4 different organizations, we chose Next Project Studio for our team. We are now in the stage where they are designing our plan and their attention to detail and the time they spend when they come to the house, making sure they have all our questions answered and all our desires firmly in their heads is truly amazing. They are also helpful in telling us when an idea may be sending us over budget, and strategies to achieve the same results in a more cost effective way. They answer questions immediately via email and have worked beyond our expectations to work within our timeframe. Every step of the way is documented for clarity and understanding. We will meet with them next week to talk about the plans and the budget. I feel their design fee is very reasonable considering how much time they are taking with us to get the plans right from the get go. We know they are not the least expensive design company, but they are well within the average and their hard work and attention is well worth the money we have spent thus far with them.

It was fine. I would consider hiring them in the future and going with their design.

They came out on time and prepared. They had great ideas! However, there services are not cheap but as everyone knows you get what you pay for.

Still in process of helping with condo decorations.

She offered us lots of good ideas about redoing our kitchen. We may well do a more extensive plan than we originally planned, based on her ideas.

Dana and Marc listened to our thoughts and then offered a wide range of ideas on how we could best accomplish our project. We were so impressed that we decided to hire them to do the actual remodel!

It was a good experience but I just didn’t go any further because it was quite a bit of money. The contractor was very nice. They seem to know what they were doing. The price was a good price I think.

Got some great ideas from initial consultation, & Rochelle did a great job with helping me pick put colors for things like floor, countertop, & backsplash with a vendor.

We ended up hiring them to do the renovation for us. We had them design our new kitchen.

The service was fine. She was very nice, and we took her information, but we didn't go with her. She was very professional, she stayed for a long time, and talked to us for a long time. We did not go with her company for the renovation, because she was too expensive. If you want very high level of renovation in terms of the design, and the production of the renovation, that she would be a person to talk to, but you would need to have a lot of money to go with her recommendation. She is very expensive.I would not use her in the future, just because her estimate was much more than what we are having done.

We liked them, but we didn’t need the service.

This went well. I had them give me a consultation on a kitchen and bathroom. I found them very helpful and they gave good ideas. I did not end up having the work done. I received a write up and just gave some really good ideas. This was a good value.

It was deal we got a while back for interior design consultation. That turned out quite nicely. They were cordial and efficient. That’s the best way of placing it. They came by and discussed various things as to what we could do with the couple of rooms that we had and that work out quite well. They were quite good. Based on that deal the price is reasonable. I thought they were quite qualified. They were here right on time. They are professional. We would use them again next time around when we get to our next redecoration.

Dana's Design Studio did a great job. Dana was immediately responsive, and sent out a senior design consultant right away to help me select colors and fabrics for our house. I love the results and recommend them highly. My only hesitation is that the hourly consulting fees are steep in relation to the work done. I was hoping for more help using what I already had in the house, but couldn't afford to spend the time working on that. This may just be a reality of design firms in St. Louis, but the cost of consultation is high for smaller jobs. If the job is bigger the cost is certainly worth it.

Dana and her team member Rochelle arrived promptly and spent a couple hours reviewing our needs and offering ideas. We were comfortable with their guidance and expertise and have decided to move forward with a large project with their firm.

Went ok. Felt daughter's new house looked well designed. Provide couple helpful suggestions. Made recommendations for unfinished basement if/when she decides to remodel and finish.
