sent a simple inquiry, through Angies list system, asking if they did exterior painting. 4 weeks later, I received a response to "call their office".

It took forever for them to come. When the worker arrived he was super nice however. The worker had no supplies to complete the job so he had to go to the lumber store. The worked performed was exterior repair. They competed the repair with UNTREATED WOOD! So of course I had to replace it again. Then the worker was not allowed to collect the money for the supplies and told me that I would hear from the owner for payment. THIS UNPROFESSIONAL OWNER STARTING CALLING ME AND TEXTING ME IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT!!!! When I finally got the amount it was sent thru bill pay from my bank and that can take a few days unless I want to pay 14.95 overnight delivery fee. I WOULD NEVER USE THEM AGAIN THEY ARE HORRIBLE.

I've used this company in the past . When Rob , the technician arrived, he covered his shoes before entering my house. He was very professional during the entire installation. Also, by having conversations with Joshua, the owner, he shows that he really cares about his customers satisfaction. I would strongly use this company again!

I’ll soon be contacting these guys for a bathroom remodel. They have done work for me in the past and I know they will in do an excellent job in the future. First off I am a single mother, my to do list is a mile long. I’ve struggled to find someone who I feel comfortable with in my home and who will do quality work at a fair price. In my first encounter with Josh he was professional, didn’t give me a line of BS and came across as trustworthy. He took the time to walk thru my list and to explain in great detail what was required. He quoted each item individually and made recommendations on how to break up the work to get the best bang for my buck. I prioritized the work and had it completed over the course of a few months. During that time I met three different tradesmen. Each was great to work with, they were always on time and completed the work as scheduled. I couldn’t be happier with them and everything they did. Josh far exceeded my expectations. A good example was during the last job which involved replacing damaged drywall and sub-floor in a small bedroom. Between the demo and final painting there are a lot of steps and I had a very important deadline. At one point I got nervous that it wouldn’t be finished in time. I called up Josh and he was here within the hour. He explained the process and stuck around to help the tradesman, long enough to ease my worry. On his way out he noticed the front door wasn’t closing right. He whipped out his drill put in a couple screws, made an adjustment and just like that it was fixed. He wasn’t even hired to work on that door. Who does that?

I can't stress enough how satisfied we were with all aspects of the job! Beaty Home Improvements responded quickly, totally understood what was required, arrived on time and completed the job. They exceeded my expectations on every level. Even the clean up after the job was perfect. I have to say it was the BEST experience I've ever had with any home service. I plan on using Beaty Home Improvements again i the near future!!

From start to finish, this project was an amazing experience with Beaty Home Improvements. The team that worked in my home, was prompt, courteous, professional, and obviously experts in their field. The craftsmanship of the work was just excellent. I had my entire condo painted, crown molding installed, electrical work done and two title backsplashes installed. I work a lot, and was never really home during the project, but with this team I didn't need to be there to oversee. They knew what needed to be done and they got it done quickly, efficiently, and correctly. They were very clean and respectful of my space. I didn't come home to drop cloths all over the place. They even moved the furniture back in place so I could access my dresser drawers while they were painting. I can't say enough good things about Joshua and his team at Beaty Home Improvements. I would definitely hire them again.

The worker that came out, named Rob Achepohl was fantastic! He was on time to the minute. He is such a nice man, it was an absolute pleasure to have him in our home. He worked very hard and fast. He is an absolute expert! We live in a brick building and the walls are cement, so it's extremely hard to hang anything on the walls. He is very organized and tidy. He identified a very serious leak for us, and told us what to tell the landlord and gave us instructions on how we should tackle some black mold he identified. Rob did everything I asked. He stayed as late as he could and we will have him come back after the leak issues are addressed. My husband and I have never had work done so pleasantly and well. He knows so much, he gave us excellent advice on the electrical issues as well as the walls. I can't write enough to describe how great he is. Waking up the next morning was as much fun as Christmas Morning to see how great our place looked!

The whole process was smooth. Josh contacted me right away and came for an estimate. The work got done exactly the week/day he told me it would. And best of all, the bid was exactly what I paid!! Can’t beat that.

Joshua is the lead at Beaty Home Improvement, and Galen was the master painter that he assigned to my job. Joshua was direct, straightforward, and responsive to my initial inquires, and immediately provided a very competitive quotation. More importantly the size of the various projects did not deter him from immediately scheduling my work. He is a no bones about it businessman which I really liked. Galen was professional, prompt, intelligent, and above all else a fantastic painter. He went straight to work, had all the supplies needed, and finished on time. He kept a very clean work area and did an incredible job repairing, restoring and rejuvenating the bathroom walls, ceiling, trim and doors. The paint job was really perfect in all aspects. I continue to rely on Beaty Home Improvement as I continue to make home renovations and I strongly recommend this team of skilled craftsmen.

John was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and skilled. We will definitely use Beaty again soon.

We had a smallish project that needed finished ASAP, during the busy season for contractors. Josh Beaty was the only company that called me back and I called 19 companies. It was a smaller job so I understood some companies would pass on it. Josh said no problem and he would fit us in. He was punctual, professional, worked with my crazy schedule occurring at the time, and was very understanding when I was being spacey from other ongoing projects in my life and the school year starting. Josh sent a master carpenter, Jon, to do our project. I gave examples of what I wanted to Jon, trying to keep an open mind that I wasn’t going to get exactly what was pictured, but it looks just like the pictures! Jon showed up on time every day, explained to me any concerns he had with our house (one of our outlets wasn’t to code as an example), reviewed with me every day what he had done the day before and what he was going to do that day, and his work is beautiful. Everything was custom built by Jon to work around existing structures. Custom always scares because I think $$$$ but I was very surprised that this was so affordable. I can’t wait to call them for our next project!

well, we needed to buy a sleeve, so it was a two visit appt. Beatty's man was professional and good-natured. He provided a great and timely service. As well, we have some health issues; and, they got right to it, when the sleeve finally arrived.

I was very pleased with the work Josh and his team did on restoring my wood siding, painting and installing new gutters. I always got a quick response when communicating with Josh which made me feel that he cares about the work being performed and me as his client. I definitely would recommend and use this company in the future.

Cleaned windows and screens, they always do a fine job.

They came over to split some wood and stack it by my fence. They then quit at 2 pm and wanted payment. The price went from 663.00 to 931.00. They all left and I texted the owner to see if they were going to come back to finish the job. He said that they would be back the next day to stack the wood, but no one showed up, and there was no answer by text or phone. Very disappointed, and now I will have to stack this wood by myself an elderly lady.

Josh, the owner, is great! Very responsive - we were even able to text him to confirm! The handyman we worked with was Joe and he is AWESOME! He got all of the fans installed (3 were a little tricky but he had no problem getting it figured out) and the barn door I made installed. He not only was professional, punctual, communicative, but he helped teach me things along the way!!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND BEATY HOME IMPROVEMENT FOR ANYTHING YOU NEED!!! We absolutely will be using them again, and again!

Beaty sent two handymen. One was clearly more experienced than the other. Fortunately, since I had a variety of tasks, each could jump right in. They replaced a kitchen faucet, fixed a bathroom ceiling fan, installed a bathroom shower rod, installed an outdoor light fixture and replaced a lock set on the front door. They did excellent work and I was very happy with the results. I certainly will use Beaty again for future handyman tasks around the house.

Last summer, I needed a kitchen cabinet replaced and hired this company. Everything was awesome! They were professional, punctual, and friendly. When I wanted curtain rods installed this summer, I knew I wanted to use the same company. New year, totally opposite experience. A few weeks ago, I scheduled an appointment to have some work done today (Aug. 3). Two hours after my scheduled start time, I called to see why no one has shown up. There is a voicemail greeting saying they are out of the office until Monday and I cannot leave a message because the mailbox is full. It's clear no one will come to do the work I scheduled weeks ago for today, my last day off for months. I am very disappointed and frustrated by the bad communication. I will not use this company again and would caution others against it unless the company provides good reason for this poor communication and shares a plan for review and revision of its practices.
