John did a great job, really appreciate his work.

They were really nice. They came out and did the work, it went really well. They had to charge more then what the deal was for, it didn't cover materials or paint. I was disappointed they couldn't get it done for the deal cost, but its okay because it was a big area and they did a good job. They were very responsive, professional and punctual. However, they did loose my check and I had to re -write it.

There were some clichés in the job scheduling but the quality of work was very good.

Everything went very well and I would definitely recommend Beaty Home Improvements to anyone looking for someone to do the job right and not just remove and replace something. Beaty will go the extra and make it permanently fixed and can even do Maint free if you want to upgrade material which is what I did.

We purchased our home 6 years ago and just this year discovered why it was so drafty and prone to loud street noise coming through the walls. It turns out the builder never sheathed the home in OSB and Tyvek, which I later found out wasn't part of the mandatory code back then for our county. After contacting several companies here on AL, I was able to connect with Josh Beaty. Josh seemed up to the challenge of removing the existing siding and foam boards, etc, then re-skinning the entire home in OSB and Tyvek. He was optimistic, although I was hesitant in getting too excited at that point, after dealing with a wide array of contractors over the past 2 years, most of which let me down in one way or another in a big way. Josh's team arrived on time as scheduled for the work, and he introduced me to everyone. They were all seasoned construction workers, and kept the site clean the best they could (it was quite a messy project). Each was courteous and professional. Typically after you contract with a company, you mainly deal with the workers themselves and can't seem to reach the boss man. This was not the case with Josh. He provided his cell phone, and barring any meeting, he always took my call or called me back right away. A refreshing change from the norm I had been accustomed to. In addition, I had a siding company coming in with new siding in 3-4 weeks, and this project needed to be completed within that time frame, which Josh and his team met. In the end, he and his team did the work to spec, on time and within the quoted price. I would definitely use Beaty Home Improvements again, and will recommend to anyone seeking home construction projects...no matter how big/small/crazy.

Beaty sent two workers, even though it was a small shower I needed grouted/caulked. The father-son duo that did the work arrived on time, were professional, and did a fantastic job. Not only does the shower look 100% better, it will prevent moisture from escaping the shower. While Beaty may not have made much money from me, I will certainly be using them in the future for other jobs I will need around the house.

I sent pictures to the firm and was informed that my window work was probably beyond repair. Since we did not engage, all answers reflect that.

No show for first appointment to review work/obtain a bid and never responded to text messages -- until I contacted him on Angie's List). Gave him another try, Beaty arrived to review; never provided bids on all we projects covered, except on the spot, he advised his power-washing rate of $275 (2-story home) - his was the highest bid out of 4 reputable contractors. Waste of time but the good that came out of it was finding reputable, honest, quality contractors thereafter.

They arrived on time and did a Good job on our shower plus the counter in the kitchen which needed re-grouting. Very quick and very good skills. - Update on 1/18/2017 - They did fine on the kitchen, but the shower looked terrible. They put new grout on-top of old grout and dirt. They also didn't reinstall the shower head correctly and we ended up having to take time to fix both of those issues. They also left our sink basins a mess, and we had to clean that too. I called the owner yesterday, letting him know about the issues we've run into, and I haven't heard back yet.

Prompt and friendly. Did exactly what I wanted with no trouble.

They were worked hard and fast to get my list accomplished. They were clean even took off their shoes without me asking and hauled away some of the empty boxes. I would definitely hire them again, especially if I rack up a bunch of tasks that needed completing. That strategy worked great for me!

They've always been on time, professional, fast, clean and go the extra mile to make sure their work meets my standards. They check-in to let me know how much time is left in the handyman service to help prioritize the list of things to do. They don't try to go over the allotted time to get more money. I would hire them again, and again, and again!

After being putting off for weeks with no follow up by another company I came to Angies list. After reading reviews and comparing offers I found Beaty and decided to give them a shot. I called and the Owner was very polite and fit me into the schedule to come out within days. We were off to a good start and I hoped the men coming would be just as nice and the work be as good as the customer service. I was definitely not disappointed. The two men he sent were so amazing it was actually hard to believe there were still people out there that could provide such amazing and friendly services. They were extremely polite, friendly, and personable. They were there for 4hrs and worked hard the whole time while also making us feel comfortable with them being there the entire time. I could not have wished for a better experience, and with my level of expectations for good service that is saying a lot. I would recommend them to anyone, and will be recommending/bragging to all of my family and friends about their services, and contacting them in the future for additonal help with other projects.

The faucet I purchased had a problem and the gentlemen worked very hard to fix it and complete the install.

I couldn't be more impressed with this company. Joshua and John were responsive, professional, and punctual. In particular I want to commend John. He was here every day on time, worked a solid eight hours and protected my home as if it were his own. The job came out beautifully: removal of an old steel tub and surround and converting it into a walk-in shower. One last thing: John's tile work is insane -- every tile was cut and laid perfectly in a very demanding pattern. I don't think you can go wrong hiring these guys.

Pre-assessment Joshua came to our house (on time as promised), and after assessing the requirements, said would cost $1500. I then mentioned that I was an Angie's list member and there was a coupon for 10% off. The contract I received later was higher in price, so after 10%, still came to $1500. This didn't feel fair to me since I didn't change any requirements, but I let it go. Secondly, Joshua's estimate was 20% higher than several others, but he promised better quality, so I agreed. The Work Framing of walls was excellent. The taping and creating a level 4 finish (to match rest of home) was a big challenge. Joshua had to come back twice to work on the walls and even then I had to pay my painter extra money to fix defects. Joshua was not able to produce a finish that matched the rest of our home even though multiple attempts were made (which we appreciated, but results are what counts)...tape lines are still visible at multiple locations. So, positives: punctuality and framing expertise...negatives: pricing and dry wall finishing. Post Work After this job, we asked if Joshua could frame a half wall for us in the kitchen which is a half day project at most per other estimates we received. He indicated he would charge a full day for labor at $440 but only work for the 2-3 hours needed on the half wall. I indicated we have a number of things to get done in the house since we are paying for a full day. He indicated we would be required to pay for a full day even though the job would take less than a half day...and getting other items done within the 1 day period would not be permitted. They don't have any type of policy that requires a full day payment for only a few hours. Back to the pricing policy, there doesn't seem to be a rationale for the figure provided as we noticed on the first job.
