About us

Our main business is sales, installation and service of BEAM Central Vacuum Systems. We are the Distributor and Warranty Center for Beam Central Vacuum Systems for Eastern Missouri and Central and Southern Illinois. We also install and service all brands of central vacuum systems. We DO NOT use subcontractors. We have our own highly trained installers. We install built-in vacuums into new homes but also are specialists in existing homes. We offer FREE phone estimates. BEAM installed our vacuum system more than 10 years ago. We received an offer from them to clean and check the system and first wondered if it was necessary but decided to go ahead. The serviceman was very professional, did a great job and it was more than worth the price. The vacuum works better than ever and we probably added several years to the life of it by having it properly cleaned and maintained.

The salesman in the showroom did a nice job of taking the time to explain the differences between the different models of Beam vacs. He took the time to demonstrate the product. He also explained all the different accessory pieces. On the day of instasll the service tech, made certain that I understood how the install would be handled. he asked my opinion of where I would like to instal the outlets. After install, the service tech made certain that I knew how to operate and clean the equipment. I was amazed how quickly the install went and how the service tech did not mar my newly painted walls. I would strongly recomend this company to anyone. Now I find myself loking forward to getting my house dirty, just so I can use my new vac.

The technician, Matt, arrived within the promised time frame and worked efficiently for about 4 hours to install the system. Despite needing to drill holes in walls (to install 3 receptacles) and route PCV pipe and wires, this was done with little change to the appearance of the interior walls or the furnace room. Matt was helpful in advising us as we made choices for locating the receptacles and the power unit. He explained the operation of the various attachments and left no mess.

We researched available power units online a chose a suitable model and also checked pricing. We then called Beam of St. Louis and spoke with Olivia. She confirmed the model we chose and quoted a competitive price. We then scheduled an installation date. They came and installed the unit as agreed. No hassles. The unit is much more powerful than the old one, probably because it was worn-out. It is also very quiet. Much more so the than old unit ever was. We’re very pleased with the product and the dealings with Beam of St. Louis.

We wanted to purchase additional accessories for our Beam central vac system (which is great). The salesperson was very helpful, and there was a good assortment of items to choose from. We would never go back to using a regular vacuum cleaner again after having the Beam central vac. It does a much better job cleaning carpets and getting rid of pet hair, etc. on furniture.

Olivia provided an estimate for installation. The estimate was accurate. There is a several week delay between ordering the system and when it is actually installed. However, I did receive a phone call one day that informed me of another customer's cancellation. They offered my installation a week earlier than originally scheduled. Dan arrived on time and performed the installation well. He cleaned up after himself and gave a clear demonstration as to how to operate the system.
