Dwight and his craftsmen are the best wood rot repair and painters I have ever hired. The most important step in a quality painting job is the preparation. McGarrah Painting left no detail undone. Not only wood rot replacement, with quality products but, the caulking of every joint, nail head and crack was filled. The painting of the base color and 2 trim colors was precise, with exceptionally clean lines. That's the mark of true "craftsmanship". From the first conversation I had with Dwight I knew he was going to get our business. He was very thorough and to the point on the entire process. Customer satisfaction was first and foremost with Dwight and his crew. Price may have been slightly higher but well worth it. He delivered on everything he said he would. We are extremely pleased with the final product.

Dwight was very responsive , knowledgeable an helpful to my son, who bought a house that needs renovation. He and his crew did an excellent job on the painting of a large family room! This included painting the walls, scraping the popcorn ceiling, and refinishing and painting the baseboards, Windows and doors white. It was perfect! He is a little expensive but the work was spectacular! They were very fast and cleaned up afterwards. It was so professionally done we definitely want to hire him again for more projects!

This was a very good experience for us. Dwight was prompt and his employees, Jeff, Jose, and Francisco were very hard working, polite and professional. We had them strip wallpaper, paint walls, sand cabinets, paint cabinets, paint fireplace mantel, paint baseboard and two entryways. It's nice to run across a real professional. I have a large stucco home that had both wood rot and vine residue. After contacting 2 painters I had used previously, only to find out they were not comfortable in handling the project, I saw Dwight's name on another house being painted in my neighborhood. I called Dwight on a Saturday morning and he stopped out to me with me that same day. He did an thorough inspection and pointed out additional wood rot I was not aware of. He provided a quote the following Monday that I thought was entirely fair. Now the good part ... his carpenters showed up 2 days later and had the wood rot repaired in 2 days. His painters showed up the next day and after giving my house a thorough washing, started the paint prepping and painting. He dealt with the vine residue so well I can no longer see any traces of it. His small crew was professional at all times and cleaned up each day. I was so impressed, I asked him to stain my deck the next week, which they did a tremendous job on as well. In summary, professional painter that does EXACTLY what he says he will.

Dwight and his employees did an AMAZING job!! I love the result!!He was there everyday, 2-3 times a day, making sure everything was done right. He discussed with me what was going to happen that day and addressed any concerns. There were never any surprises in pricing and he was always upfront. They painted my exterior, hung knew shutters I had purchases and painted my front door. It all looks AWESOME! His crew was awesome. If I had any questions or concerns I could ask them or talk to them about it. They cleaned up at the end of each day to the point I hardly knew they had been there. I will hire him again for any future projects.

Got the bid from Dwight last week and it just happened to work out that the job is complete one week later. I had him and his crew paint the interior of my rental home and it looks fantastic. The previous tenant had left the walls looking beyond dirty, so I'm extremely happy with the job Dwight did for me. I'd hire him again in a heartbeat. Price was reasonable and the service exceeded it.

Dwight and his crew arrived as scheduled every day. Each member of the crew, from lead man to helper, was diligent and hard working. Raoul, Edgar, and Dennis each took command of their tasks and saw them through to conclusion. There was no dawdling or dragging things out. McGarrah Painting has a flawless attention to detail. It started with a detailed estimate. Even though he was not assured of the project, he provided insight into how the job should be done regardless of who I hired. They caulked every seam and nail hole and cleaned up daily. They started with a pressure wash of my home and deck and worked through to completion of the project. Dwight was on-site every day to insure the project progressed smoothly and that the crew was aligned with Dwight's Standards (extremely High). After the deck dried, Dwight even called to offer the use of his employees to return planters to the deck. All I have to do is walk the neighborhood to note the exceptional quality and expertise with which my home and deck were treated to realize I made the right decision in hiring Dwight McGarrah Painting for my project!

Mr. McGarrah was professional, high energy, and very willing to please his customer. His crew worked hard, was very careful to cover bushes, decorative rocks, and pull smaller rocks away from the foundation for painting. The wood rot was repaired nicely and they did a great job of cleaning up. We were very happy with their work and the finished product.

5/13/2016 Recently we had Mr. Dwight McGarrah, Cell (816)835-9356, of McGarrah Painting, paint our Home. It was a very pleasant experience. He and his Crew are very professional, prompt, and capable. If something was promised, it was delivered and on time. Plus, his crew was excellent in doing quality work in a very efficient manner. Mr. Dwight McGarrah consistently appeared on the job to make sure everything was done correctly and according to our plan. As for quality, His crew matched and made our scratched and battered stained woodwork look like new. On the outside, Dwight’s crew first washed the house with a high pressure hose that exposed a lot of wood rot. His Carpenters did a great job eliminating the wood rot using very high quality products. As a result of their effort, the house was in great shape for painting. In addition, His crew made sure everything was cleaned up at the end of the day as the work progressed. Before painting, his painters chalked all the joints, and they spent a lot of time and effort taping and masking off areas to eliminate overspray. There were no short cuts, no painting around items, such as storm windows. The storm windows and light fixtures were removed. This extra effort resulted in a very high quality paint job. Finally, Dwight recommended a color scheme for our house that my wife says is beautiful.
