 + -1 moreThey answered the phone and were able to come out the same day to look at our issue and discuss how to address it. We decided to hire them and they scheduled to start the work the next morning. They were excellent to think outside the box for custom work needed to modify the railing in our split level house so that new flooring could be installed by a different contractor. We are very pleased with the final product. They were punctual, polite, open to our suggestions and concerns, easy to work with and cleaned up their mess as they worked. The work was completed in just a few hours. They were very good at communicating and even followed up with us afterwards to make sure there was not anything else we had thought of or noticed after they left.
Description of Work: We have a split level house with a railing in our livingroom for the stairs to the landing and front door. The railing has wrought iron spindles that appear to be embedded in the subfloor. We are having flooring installed and the railing had to be modified so that a solid base board was left for the flooring to rest against. We also needed the same for the spindles/railing on our stairs so that carpet could be installed. We originally discussed removing the railings and spindles but the contractor came up with a great modification to maintain the stability of the existing rail. The end product looks like it was meant to be that way from the beginning. We are very pleased 😀
