If I gave all the details it would take pages to write everything down, but the gist of it is go somewhere else ! This was one of the WORST contractor experiences I've ever had. We were extremely through in communicating exactly what we needed along with our timeline we had to work with. We contacted QHC and they told us that our timeline and projects were in fact very feasible and was assured many times everything was simple and should get done within the agree upon allotted time. To make sure we hired them 2 months in advance to start demo date in order to give them ample time to prepare, plan and prioritize to which they did NONE of that. Not a single timeline was met and the projects went months past original completion date. Not a single project was completed without money mismanagement, communication problems, errors in original ideology of projects, or they were just executed poorly, When problems did arise, and they seem to do so daily it was impossible to get in contact with contractor and you often had to play phone tag or email tag for a week or two before getting a response... When we would actually get a response it was never the contractor taking ownership of his companies problems, it was always just passing of the buck or worse blaming us for things we clearly put in writing in the beginning. I could go on for a very long time with how many ways this contractor mishandled everything from forgetting about rooms to carpet in the carpet budget, to misordering flooring, to ruining a backsplash, to trying to get away with doing the cheapest way of everything including painting over varnished cabinets instead of deglazing them or installing and cementing the wrong bathtub to well the list goes on and on.... My advise would be to employ someone else...
