We contracted Jonathan Winkleman to do two stamped concrete patios in our backyard on 5/20/13 with the expectation of prompt quality job. He told us it would be complete in two to three weeks. At 3 months, my yard was still tore up for my son's first birthday party- and I had to terminate this contract a couple weeks ago after he disappeared and would not respond to emails or voicemessages. I sent a notification of demand terminating contract, and will be going to court to get my $1400 deposit back from this guy. I have a one year old baby and did not anticipate I'd be spending my summer doing this. Please be careful and do not make the mistake that we did. He disappeared with our money ($1400), and this experience has been a nightmare. A reputable contractor came and reviewed the job after several no show no calls and inconsistencies and confirmed that he was using subgrade material (the broke up concrete from existing patio) as fill, he shorted us a foot in his framework, and the guy intended to pour over grass in our yard (not removing the grass) All of this amounts to a "hack job" and someone who actually told us that this was not a priority to him because he had other higher paying work. Do not use.
