Great! Found a crack in the boot when inspecting a new "used" car I just purchased. They replaced and repaired everything within 2 hours and I was on my way. Used them for years. Great staff; friendly and professional. They never sell you anything you don't need.

They take good care of my car needs and on those occasions that they need to keep the car, they furnish me with and Enterprise Rental. Work is done in a timely manner. I recommend their business to my friends and will continue to do business with them. Also, they will always work me in when small emergencies come up. They always let me know that my business is of value to them and I appreciate the work they do for me.

It is easy to tell Nathan your concerns and he takes a personal interest in taking care of them.

I have a long standing relationship with Gary's.

We have been using them for the last 23 years now. They always get me in and the scheduling has been great. The mechanics have all been wonderful.

They are very reputable. We have been using them for about 15 years. Their prices are competitive. The mechanics have been professional, friendly, and knowledgeable.

I work with them all the time and I depend on them and I have no complaints. I have been using them for about 5 years now. They are all certified mechanics and that is why I go to them. I really appreciate them. If my car need work and it is going to be there for a long time they will get me a rental car free of charge from Enterprise which is a nice thing to do.

They got the job done in about 3-4 days. The mechanic was very informative.

They are wonderful and we have been going to them for about 20 years now. The guys are all wonderful. If we call we can usually get-in in a couple of days. The mechanics are really nice and they explain things to you. If they find something else that needs fixed they will call before they do anything and fix it. We fell like we know them personally.

They do great work and they know what they are doing. They are expensive but you get good quality and they have a more specialized knowledge. I have been a customer with them for over 10 years now. The mechanics have all been fine especially Chuck and he is my favorite.

I think they are great. They are polite, efficient, and cordial. They are very business-like. They were recommended to me from a friend. The scheduling was immediate and they made the appointment for the next day. They got the job done all in one day.

Was smelling gasoline but did not know why; determine it was #2 fuel injector: also hearing popping sound when slowing down or after stops. I have been with Gary's Auto since 2000. They have kept my 1996 Chey cav running. They are a very honest group of people. I consider myself a blessed person and I was really blessed to fine Gary's. After my warranty expired so did every part on my car. The dealer was a rip off.

My '95 Chevy Monte Carlo had a radiator leaking fluid, so I took the car in. They've been our my mechanic for probably 20 years and we trust them 110%. They found the radiator was bad (the car has 185,000 miles & it's the original) which I figured was the problem. However, they wanted to check to see if there was a reason the radiator was bad, so they ran a test and found the engine to be pumping out a high level of carbon, which indicated something going on in the engine that was making the car run hot. Upon further inspection, they found the gaskets were bad. I was offered several options: 1) get a replacement engine from a salvage lot; 2) repair this engine; 3) not get it fixed at all and look for a new car. I knew a new car wasn't in my stars, so I asked for the price difference of the replacement engine vs. fixing mine. After a long conversation with the owner (Mike) he said he'd price out a few replacement engines and give me a price comparison. He got back to me the next afternoon with the prices on two different salvage engines: one with 65,000 miles for $3,222.73 with a 3 month parts-only warrantee and one with 125,000 miles for $2,821.73, with a one year parts and labor warrantee. He said the approx. cost of fixing what was wrong with my engine was about $2,700.00. I told him that logically, I should take a new engine, but since I didn't know how well those engines where taken care of in their previous life, I was leary of taking one of those. I know my engine is in good shape, as I get my oil changes religiously every 3,000 miles. I decided to keep my engine and have the repairs done. They had my car 2 more days and called to tell me they found that the engine housing where it's bolted to the firewall had 4 of the 5 bolts sheered off, leaving only one bolt in place. (That sounds scary to me!) So it cost an additional $100-something for the machine shop to fix those bolts and re-attach the engine housing to the fire wall. So my final bill was $2,975.11 after it was all said and done. My car was in the shop one week. Mike and Chuck (who actually worked on my car) were in constant communication with me about what was going on. They never talk down to you because you might not know anything about cars and they don't take advantage of you because of it. They don't sell you anything you don't need or fix anything that doesn't need to be. They've worked with us on getting things fixed and with schedule maintenance on a schedule that met out financial needs. We love Mike, Chuck, Ken and Nate and will ALWAYS be a loyal customer. I highly recommend them to everyone.

Definitely fixed the problems. Compared costs and were just a smidge cheaper than the dealership. Gave us an oil change for free since we were first time customers.

We've been going to Gary's for years. Mike, Chuck and Ken are the most honest, hard-working, skilled mechanics in town. (Mike purchased the garage from Gary several years ago, but kept the name for business reasons.) I'd trust anything they say I'd need on my car, with no questions asked. When something is wrong, they don't try to dazzle you with big terms and technical words. They use plain language to explain what's wrong and what it takes to get things fixed. If something can go a few more miles before it needs to be done, they'll tell you that, too. They've always been very conscientious about getting our cars back to us when we needed them because of work schedules. The guys are so nice and really funny and personable and have even driven my 80-year-old mom home after she's had to have her car towed. They always go the extra mile to check hoses and belts and fluid levels whenever the cars are brought in. Their lot is ALWAYS crowded, so you know that's a good sign. They were also one of the first shops in Missouri to have been trained and certified on the Missouri State Inspection program (when it went back to the shops, after the state run inspections stations closed.) They have a computer in the garage and the office and they guys are constantly looking up info on quirks and repair tips on certain makes and models of cars the come in with weird issues. I'd never EVER take my car anywhere else. I have over 180,000 miles on my car and it's because of THEM that it still runs like a top!

I like that they always try to squeeze us in if we need something done. They also find problem areas for us.

Get ready for kudos! I absolutely love and trust these guys! Who doesn't feel good inside when they trust their mechanic? It goes great every time. I should mention, when I purchased my new Mazda, I was no longer plagued with intermittent problems which can be frustrating for me and a mechanic, so it goes great every time. I currently have a flexible schedule and typically wait for my car. Gary sold the shop to Mike and he was more than I could have hoped for. After years, you get nervous about new ownership, but Chuck and Ken really respect him and he is extremely easy to talk to, and I really respect Chuck and Ken (the two mechanics that have been there since I started going). I have gotten to know the mechanics over many years and they are polite, personable, professional and fun. I actually look forward to going (after all, it is about spending money). I make a set appointment and they take my car in within 5-10 minutes of when I show up. If I needed to, I am pretty sure (I am within a few miles) they would run me home and pick me up. For now, I just walk over to have breakfast for more lengthy work. Otherwise, these poor guys are stuck with me while I wait, but I almost always have an interesting conversation or two with people coming and going with Mike and the mechanics. Their prices are fair and I always feel confident they won't recommend something I don't need. They work only during the week so I will regret the day I ever have to face running my car through a lube shop again if I can't get there for an oil change. Any work encompassing much more than that though and I'll rent a car and leave mine with them for the day. When my older car had issues (granted, I was a known and repeat customer) they always fit me in for those 'quirky' things that came up and, in the end, come up they did, which were way too much for an outside sales rep. with appointments. I was already sold on them but that just cast it in stone, as they say. I'd call with, "it's doing this now," and they'd say just pop by and we'll have a look. Not to say they don't need to schedule repairs, but they would always have a look and try to figure it out. I really appreciate customer attention and for me, that's what I always get.

Great! Gary's is the BEST! They always are very courteous, always make time to work on our cars and are very fair with pricing. They won't make extra repairs you don't need, and will tell you when a maintenance check on an issue should be scheduled. GARY IS ONE OF THE LAST HONEST MECHANICS AROUND!!! They always call to let us know the pricing of the repairs ahead of time and what our options are for repairs now vs what can be put off.
