Horrible company do yourself a favor and do not deal with these rude uneducated people. “Manager” was very rude and refused to work on a solution. Paid $400 for someone to come out and fix my ice maker then was told give it 24 hours and I’ll have ice never got ice they came out and gave me another quote to fix it again place is a scam. Find another appliance company

Be very leery of work they give you an estimate to fix or perform. We have a 3 year old Whirlpool refrigerator. While the refrigerator still functioned, the lights in the upper and bottom compartments went out. It was outside of its warranty, so I called the local Appliance Guy location and scheduled a visit. They tech showed up on time, but right off of the bat he told me that he had seen this problem before and didn't really know how to fix it. They charged me $89 for that sterling service, but stated that he'd research the problem and send me an estimate which he did. He quoted me $438.93 which included a $269.99 circuit board. Well, as the frig was only three years old, I thought I'd call Whirlpool to complain about have to spend nearly $450 to fix a practically new refrigerator. As it turns out, while not a recall, this has apparently been happening on a lot of their refrigerators, so they scheduled me with their preferred repair firm and said that it wouldn't cost us anything to fix it. The new tech showed up, knew exactly how to fix it (replaced one small light in the freezer) and was in and out in 10 minutes. He said that the lights are on one circuit and if one of the ones on the beginning of the circuit go out, all the lights further down the circuit go are cut off from the current (kind of like Christmas lights). I asked him how much that one small light cost and he told me $20. $20 easy fix compared to $438.93 and the problem would not have been fixed. I could have gotten better service from my neighbor across the street. I called Appliance Guys to complain as their tech's visit was completely worthless and they told me that the $89 was non-refundable, not matter how worthless the service call was. I asked to have the own call to talk about it...still waiting.

Thoroughly disappointed in service for dishwasher. First technician arrived June 11. Said he fixed it and to let cycle finish. Same issue, dishwasher would not drain. Called to get another appointment (typically wait around 30 minutes to an hour on hold for this company), appointment was set for June 16. Technician came, but again would not wait for a cycle to finish to ensure the fix was complete. Called again an hour after technician left that dishwasher was still not fixed. Was told that they would call me back after they get a hold of the technician. Two hours later no call back received, and no follow up appointment made. Additionally the second technician was reinstalling the dishwasher and the top left side was about a 1/2" higher than the right side. I asked him to level it before screwing in to my solid wood cabinets, he did not stop, screwed into the wood, and said afterward that he does not carry a level. Even eyeing up the level would have been better. Now I have 6+ holes in my wood cabinets. Poor attention to detail. Would not recommend to anyone, difficult to get through to company, work is not thorough.

Eddie was prompt worked on both on different days and both days diagnosed problems fixed in no time very courteous and knowledgeable of repairing appliances also served in military and thanked him for serving our country also appliance repair was what he did in Service as well thanks

We've had The Appliance Guys visit us on two separate occasions, and they've been great both times. They identified the issues quickly, gave us solid cost estimates, and let us decide how to proceed as educated consumers. We will definitely hire them again for the next issue that arises!

The Appliance Guys are amazing. Chris is very responsive to messages, schedules service quickly, calls when he's on the way, and works efficiently to diagnose and fix any problems he finds. He is very professional and kind. I won't ever call anyone else for appliance repair! Thanks Chris :)

They were pretty good. They were fair. The price wasn't good but they got the job done. The piece that was put into my dryer is not the exact part I could have gotten from the manufacturer. He took another manufacturer part and used it. It works but came from a different appliance. They did a fine job. The prices were reasonable. They knew what they were doing.

Fast, efficient, friendly

Very well. Tech called 10 minutes before arriving. Quickly diagnosed the problem and fortunately, had the part in his truck!

One thing I always appreciate is dealing with a company that, rather than requiring you to sit at home in a specified four hour block of time will instead agree to call you at your work when he is on his way. That is how both visits were arranged. One week after the initial appointment, he called me at my office to tell me he was on his way to my home. Once I arrived, it took less than 30 minutes to complete. The total charge on the second visit to actually replace the garbage disposal was $250. All in all I was happy with the convenience, the price and the service and I would use the company again.

The service and price and professionalism are excellent. I highly recommend The Appliance Guys (Chris Becker). Never used him before, wouldn't use anyone else now.

We used a service provider called The Appliance Guys from Angie’s List and they are excellent. It is actually one guy but he is totally, totally pro and totally on his game. I give him 'A's across the board. I chose him because of his reviews, I saw a guy say that he bought a garbage disposal and this guy came out and looked at what he had going on and said that he didn't need it and actually returned the unit to the store for the man and so that was pretty cool. I would refer him to anyone that needs that kind of work done.
