I called and scheduled an appointment and also scheduled a courtesy car for the day. Upon arrival, the courtesy car was double-booked and I was asked to come back the next day. When I came back, it took them half an hour to get the courtesy car after I dropped off my keys. The courtesy car reeked of smoke and I had to drive with the windows down or I would get a headache. When I picked up my truck, my liftgate would open but it would not lock so my car was not secure. In addition, they charged me for a transmission fluid flush which I did not want. They said that when they checked the transmission fluid, it looked pretty bad so they went ahead and did it. I could have done it myself. They said they could fix the lock on the liftgate the next day but they did not have a courtesy car and wouldn't until the next week. Overall, I was extremely disappointed with the service and professionalism. Plus, their prices were outlandish.
Description of Work: I went to have my oil changed and my liftgate lock fixed because my liftgate on my SUV would not open.

Please accept our sincerest of apologies for the "not-so-great" service experience. It truly sadens us to hear our efforts on that day did not meet your expectations. Our loaner fleet is a hot commodity most days and on occasion a bump in scheduling occurs. Our loaner vehicles are marked "Do Not Smoke." Clearly the customer before you ignored our request - again, please accept our apology! The vehicle should have gone thru clean-up before being given to you - and it sounds like it did ("...to get the courtesy car...") - but that darn smoke smell is hard to remove with just a car wash, vac and a little air freshener. A common misconception when changing the Transmission Fluid is that ALL fluid gets removed during the draining process. When in reality, about half of the old fluid is evacuated and the remainder is then comingled with the newly added fluid. As our best practice - when the old fluid seems tired, gunky and has been wtih the vehicle a while, the flush is recommended for a more thorough and complete removal of the old and replaced with ALL NEW fluid. On our very best of days, every employee strives to put their best foot forward for every customer. No one wants to hear they missed the mark with any customer regardless of the size of the repair bill. All our best, MonicaB

My brand new Fusion was broken into by some faceless piece of trash one evening while I was at work. Fortunately, the damage was limited to the door handle and lock on the driver's side door and all the windows were left intact. I got estimates from several body shops in the area, but since the car was brand new, I was inclined to include body shops from several local Ford dealers as well. My initial visit to Bo Beukman's body shop for an estimate was very quick and straightforward. Bob was very helpful in giving me an idea of what the costs would be and what he needed from my insurance company. He also was very empathetic to my frustration with the situation, and assured me the work would be completed as quickly as possible. Once he told me about their lifetime warranty on the work, my decision was made. A few days later, once my insurance company completed their assessment of the damage, I gave Bob a call with the update. He told me to bring it in that day, as he'd already ordered the necessary parts, and he'd be able to start on it first thing in the morning. I dropped it off with Bill that evening and we were good to go. The work only took a couple of days, as they needed to buff out a few dents in the door around handle, match the paint, repair the latching mechanisms inside the door, and replace the handle & lock tumbler/cylinder. They gave me a call when it was done, told me they had everything they needed from my insurance company, and I was all set. I picked it up that evening after only 3 days in the shop. Overall, I'm extremely pleased with the work they did. Anyone who's bought a new car likely doesn't plan on taking it to a body shop within the first 2 months of ownership. And, the frustration over any situation that would warrant such a visit is only compounded by the fact that the car is still relatively fresh off the truck. Between the quality of their work and their helpfulness in getting everything processed and resolved, this whole ordeal went about as smoothly as I could have hoped. If you're put in the unfortunate situation of needing some body work done done to your car, I would highly recommend including Bob and Bill in your search.

Maybe it was just my experience, but I wouldn't go back there. The worst part was their attitude! They had no time for me and said I didn't know what I was talking about! I will say the receptionist was nice. She said she would try to work to get me a discount because she knew everything I had been through, but she wasn't there when my car was finished and I picked it up. Of course no one knew anything about it.
Description of Work: I took my car in because it was hesitating and stopping. It cost me $1,300.00, but they fixed it. After a few weeks, it started doing it again, so I took it back. They kept it for a week and told me that they me they couldn't get it to do what I said it was doing. They told me I didn't know what I was talking about and that there was nothing wrong with the car. I knew it died on me! Eventually they offered to have one of their mechanics take the car home, and he couldn't drive it back the next day because it stopped! They told me it had nothing to do with the previous situation, and it cost and $1,500.00. It was working the second time around, but I sold it because I was afraid!

Their prices are high, but provide quality service. They are knowledgeable and professional. The repair took longer than expected due to lack of parts in stock. One part came in which was wrong so they had to reorder it which added another day. They were great about calling to let me know what they found wrong and what the cost would be. 2 days after I left, the hatch would not unlocked again and I had to return, but they promptly resolved the problem. One thing I was unhappy about was that I asked them to have a sales person look at the car since it was there for 3 days to see about trade-in value. They forgot and when I picked up the car I was pressed for time. The cost involves 2 different visits within 5 days of each other. I went for the emissions inspection and the car would not turn over. It had to be towed and that's when the fuel pump had to be replaced. They arranged the towing which I did appreciate.
Description of Work: Did repair work on Ford Escape. Replaced rear brake light, replaced sway bar links, repaired AC, repaired front passenger door and rear hatch which would not unlock, did an oil change, performed maintenance and safety inspection, replaced disc brake pads, replaced front brake rotors, performed safety recall ABS connector, replaced fuel pump & filter, charged battery, provided towing, provided free loaner vehicle for 3 days.

They did an excellent job. They were very knowledgeable and straight forward about the work needed on my car. Their prices are a little high, but the service is outstanding. They work efficiently and get the job done on time.
Description of Work: Bueckman's did the repairs on my Ford Taurus. They made another computer-chip key for me. They replaced a tire, mounted and balanced the tires. They checked a problem with my fuel gauge and fixed a sensor. They also did the safety check and vehicle inspection.
