Last minute rescheduled on me TWICE. At one point he called me while I was at work insisting they do the job right then. They finally showed up to do the job, and did not have everything they needed to complete the job. To show up to level a trailer and be short by more than 50 bricks indicates a complete lack of preparedness. One member of the crew did not have his wedding ring on, flirted often with me and then when my boyfriend called, his ring magically appeared and suddenly he was talking about his wife. While this is not a matter of the task they were hired to complete, I considered it rude with intent to be rude from the beginning. Incredibly unprofessional. They wasted almost 3/4 of the day playing around with a water level when their company had better, more efficient tools for the job which I had seen them use on another job site. They worked very slowly and were here until well after dark. This job should not have taken more than a couple of hours. Member of crew cut and stole wiring I was saving for reuse (have you priced 10 gague wire lately?) Then, today (July 2011) while working for another person in my neighborhood, he hit my fence and bent the post. He claims he was watching the whole time and never hit my post and refuses to admit such a thing happened. I would not recommend this one unless you are going to stand over each member of the crew and watch them like a hawk! Today, less than a year later, the double brick columns are leaning already. Clearly the job was not done correctly. For $500, I think I have the right to "LEVEL" for a full year. They offer no warranty and no contracts in writing. They also wait until the job is complete to discuss the cost of the bricks. He did not charge me for the bricks in the end, however, he claimed he made no money on the job due to not charging me for them. To this I would argue, I paid $500 for this job. It's not my fault you did not give a proper estimate on the number of bricks needed to complete the task correctly, nor is it my fault your crew worked so incredibly slowly that you had to pay them for a full day's work on a job that should have been done in a couple of hours. At the end of the day, my mobile home was fully level. So you could say the job was completed. However, it was the second local company I've dealt with for this job that left me with a very bad taste in my mouth. I am left wondering if any company in this area can level a mobile home without cheating someone or breaking something.
Description of Work: The job was to level a trailer. Not move it, just level it. It is a 14x70 mobile home. This company moves mobile homes too. Supposedly they are professional.
