Description of Work: Cleaned Windows inside and out. What a difference!

Description of Work: We had an appointment for Monday November 9th from long ago, I called him the week before and he asked if we could reschedule till Wednesday... I said as long as he was there early that was OK as I had n appointment mid morning. He said he had another appointment in Evanston and would be here between 8 or 9. I had to leave to see a customer around 10:30. I was back in my office in the mid afternoon and here comes two guys about 3:30 to clean my gutters like nothing had happened. They were nice and polite and surely not at fault - they called the owner since I loudly complained about the lack of punctuality from his end. They also told me they needed to use my watering hose, we had shut off the water for one hose, but had one that was still connected, IF they need water to do this job, should I not be told that when I make an appointment? They got their ladders out and they were still on the roof as it was getting dusky! NOT GOOD...DID THEY DO A GOOD JOB??? I DO NOT KNOW, I HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO CLIMB A LADDER TO CHECK OUT THE GUTTERS..

Description of Work: Window washing, left streaks in front; however agreed to come back and re-do. More expensive than expected, very friendly and responsive.

Description of Work: I purchased a gutter cleaning coupon from AngiesList. I think contacted the provider and set up a gutter cleaning date. They came on time and were courteous. I haven't had any drainage issues since they cleaned the gutters. Thumbs up to me!

Description of Work: They pressure-washed and stained my deck, and did an excellent job. The only problem was in communication: if they weren't going to make it due to weather or whatever, they didn't always call. I learned fairly quickly that if the forecast was iffy I needed to call them and ask whether or not to expect them.

Description of Work: There was some scheduling issues. Other than that they were quick and professional. I have already recommended them to co-workers. I gave them a Slightly lower rating for punctuality, not because of lateness but, for showing up unscheduled.

Description of Work: We had purchased a certificate to clean windows in our home but decided to use it to clean the gutters. Above the Rest was open to switching the service and a small additional fee was added. Three workers arrived and did a nice job cleaning the gutters on our garage and two story house.

Description of Work: It took months for above the rest to even show up to perform the service. Upon arrival they felt the gutters didn't need to be cleaned but never provided a refund for even a portion of the services. They did NOTHING but still charged full price for a cleaning.

Description of Work: I can not complain about the guys that did the work, they did a good job! My issues are with Angie's List and the Vendor. | |First, Angie's List - I get it, Angie's List wants to control the entire conversation or at the very least wants all communication to be thru their platform. Unfortunately, this does not work for me. I want to get on the phone and talk to the vendor. Period. | |Now the Vendor, we scheduled the work weeks in advance, perhaps a month out. Well, we had a rainy spring and thus the vendor needed to reschedule his rained out clients into the calendar. Well, here is the approach the vendor took, he tried to reschedule EVERYONE, even those that were not rained out, this included me. And so the "day off" of work that I took, was a wasted day since he was a no show. To be clear, he did leave a voicemail message on my phone at work and since I was at home, I never got the message. So I'm a bit upset. I explained to him, that he should do like the airlines and find a date for the rainouts on open days in his calendar and not to inconvience the already scheduled customer. | |That said, I would still use the Vendor in the future to wash windows.

Description of Work: I had 13 double hung windows cleaned. The two workers did a good job and were efficient. My initial challenge was scheduling the visit, then there was a staff emergency which resulted in a cancellation and reschedule. All in all it was pretty good experience and my window were very clean.
