Crosslin Plumbing Heating & Cooling

On Friday afternoon, I found my water heater spewing hot water from the output pipe. I contacted my home warranty company who gave me several authorized companies. Crosslin was the only one who answered and wanted to do the work. Due to the hour, he was unable to do the work that evening, but he was there bright and early the next day and had the old one out before I could blink. He was quick and efficient. He then checked the faucets and cleaned the spray heads of the sediment that washed through the lines from the old water heater. I would call them again in a heartbeat.

They checked he faucets in the tub and they couldn't repair them because they couldn't get parts. Then they looked at the humidifier, and couldn't repair that either.  They left, and gave us a bill for $133 which I thought was rather high, considering nothing was accomplished.  I don't mind paying for a service call, but $133 was way too much!  I don't plan on using them again.

On the first trip they brought the wrong solenoid, but did call five different area suppliers to try to obtain the correct one on the spot.  They came back with the correct solenoid, had it installed in a jiffy, and ran the new duct to help heat my basement family room.  Very satisfied customer.  Both Bill and Dan are professionals.

Bill from Crosslin was originally scheduled to come out Friday afternoon to install a new toilet, which he had gone to the distributor to pick up.  Unfortunately a job he was doing ran into a delay, so Dan Crosslin called to let me know and reschedule.  Although I was not in a hurry, Dan volunteered to have the job done on Saturday, and so Bill came out and did the work Saturday afternoon for no extra charge.  Bill was friendly, professional and took the time to explain things well.  I would definitely use Crosslin again!

Dan was very responsive. I called on a Friday night, left a message, and he called back within 10 minutes. He was very personable and told me if I can wait until tomorrow that it would save me from paying overtime charges. He gave me a Saturday arrival time and showed up on time. He went directly to work and had the work done in less than two hours. He made sure that he explained to me what had caused the problem. He also showed me a few other issues with the plumbing but assured me they were easy fixes, and I could tackle them myself if I wanted to. Overall, I had a good experience with this company, and I would recommend them in the future.
