We hated it and gave the vacuum away. It was heavy and cleaning out the tank was horrible; it needed to be cleaned by hand.

This shop was great. They told us about how much it would be to fix it but also gave us some advice saying that it might not be worth it to invest in fixing the cleaner since vacuum prices new are around $200 for a good one and the average cleaner only last 5-7 years these days (mine is almost 5). We probably won't get it fixed and will just save up an extra $100 and get a new one. In the meantime, all of my attachments work and I don't have a ton to vacuum so it's getting me through. I really appreciate the honesty of this shop and will purchase from them if I get another Hoover.

I have gone to this store twice. The first time, I brought my machine in, he looked at it and told me I needed a new belt. He told me he would have to charge me $20 to fix it, or I could buy the belt for $7 and fix it myself. He was very helpful in telling me how to do it. The second time, he again offered to tell me how to fix it to save me the service charge, but I told him I never wanted to see another packing peanut in my life. He fixed it for me within a day. When I came back, I noticed some steam cleaners on display and asked about them. He told me they weren't worth my money, and asked what I wanted one for. I told him my dog had an accident, and he sold me a (much cheaper) product that cleaned up the mess with no problem at all. He is always cheerful and friendly, and I have been very impressed.
