Pine Creek Services

In September 2022, I hired this company to wash approximately 23 windows and 3 sliding glass doors. The 2 employees rushed through the job leaving smears inside and out. Upon closer inspection, we also found multiple deep gouges in 2 large fixed pane windows and in 4 panes of glass in 2 sliding glass doors. I spent 3 weeks calling to speak to Alex, the branch manager. I have documented my phone calls as well as have emails supporting my efforts to contact him. He finally cam out to inspect the job and agreed that the work was subpar and agreed that there were deep gouges in the glass as a result of an employee too vigorously wielding a razor edged scraper. I have provided Alex the estimates from Renewal by Andersen for the sliding glass doors and from Glass & Mirror Inc for the fixed pane windows which are a custom cut. The glass cannot be repaired. Replacement costs are close to $7,000. I still have not had a reply from Alex or from Kevin Chapman, the registered owner of this company. Legal action is my next step.

Good and quickly done

The 2-person crew, Cody & Andre, were courteous and friendly, punctual and thorough. Their tidy cleanup included washing the 1st floor skylight that got spattered a bit when cleaning the upper level gutters. Very good experience overall.

I contacted the company via email. The office manager was very prompt about getting back to me and keeping me up to date on progress. The man who came to do the estimate, the man who cleaned the windows, and the man who came to put my screens back were all very professional and friendly. They all seemed very pleased to be working for Pine Creek and were thorough about their work. I discovered that there are not many companies that will come out and repair screens. I contacted another company on Angie's List and was told that they had too much business and couldn't promise to get out here very soon so I was happy that Pine Creek would do both window cleaning and screen repair. They were on the job quickly with the estimate and the work. I would definitely recommend Pine Creek and will call on them again in the future.

they came to do estimate within a few days of calling initially, but it took some phone tag to set up date for service.  they arrived promptly and worked quickly.  the windows looked great and I thought the price was far.  they said they also clean gutters and the price quote was cheaper than the service I usually use.  they said they'd also give a discount if my neighbors and I had our windows washed the same day.

I called Pine City Services on Monday. Kevin returned my call that evening and said he could be at my house at noon the following day (Tuesday). to give me an estimate. He arrived on time, gave the estimate, which I agreed to, and offered to do the work right away. Agreed. He washed 11 windows, including their storm sections, and wiped down the screens. He did a good job, worked steadily, reassembled all the parts and there was no mess. The windows now look fine. There were no problems. Kevin is a personable man to have around and I would hire him again.

The installation was very well done. He was very difficult to reach after the install when we had some issues with the timers. He finally came to resolve that problem. We expected contact following the holidays but never saw or heard from him again. I called him continuously during the following months & left messages with his answering service. I am still waiting to hear from him and it is now the middle of April. We paid him in full for the entire job and now have a situation where he should reimburse us for the take down plus containers. He is totally unresponsive.
