+ -1 moreI've been going here for several years and have had great dental hygienists work on me. Before I started using Park Dental, I'd leave the cleaning with sore and cut-up gums... but I've never had that experience at Park Dental. They are thorough and efficient, but more importantly, they are careful and accurate with the instruments and don't rip up your gums. I've had several different dental hygienists at Park Dental, and they've all been top-notch. Park Dental seem very busy, so it's probably difficult to get a first appointment quickly... but once you get in, they schedule your next six-month appointment and it's never a problem again.
Description of Work: I go to Park Dental on LaSalle for routine cleanings every six months.

+ 0 moreFirst of all the staff is great for routine cleaning and check ups. I have never had a problem and my kids go on Saturdays and enjoy their cleanings too. When I needed a crown (the first time ever) they were not so great. The doctor is a young guy and really friendly but the assistant was impatient unsympathetic and more concerned about talking about her personal life with the doctor. When I went back to have the permanent crown placed I had her again and she was acted p***** that I needed my mouth numbed because it was so sensitive. She was very unprofessional and a big reason to discontinue using there services. I know it's not the entire clinics fault but for larger procedures I will go elsewhere!

+ -1 moreIt went very well. The staff at this dental practice have excellent technique. I had a temporary crown that fit better than I could have imagined. Getting the permanent crown placed this morning was utterly without incident. I could not have been more pleased with how it went.
Description of Work: I had broken a crown late in the afternoon of 5/30 and called to see if they could get me in sooner rather than later. They fit me in the next day and we set up a treatment plan. Our family has been using this practice since we moved to the Twin Cities, about 10 years ago now. Our interactions with everybody at this clinic has been 100% positive, each time, every time. Just a wonderful, wonderful group of professionals.

+ -1 moreThe procedure was relatively quick and painless. Prepping the tooth was done quickly and she made sure the temporary crown fit well, and my bite was correct. Dr. Belfour explained what she was doing and asked if I had any questions. Both the appointments for the temporary and the permanent crown were scheduled at the same time, so I had no scheduling issues. I would highly recommend her services to anyone who needs crown work done.
Description of Work: I had a tooth broken tooth and Dr. Balfour prepped the tooth, and put on a temporary crown.

+ -1 moreThey are top notch. They are solid, thorough, and they don't let anything go unchecked. My hygienist has been real solid. It's been second to none. The availability has been good, they have extended hours. I can't think of any drawbacks. They are more thorough than where I went before. I think the one time I had a cavity or filling, it was uneventful and fine. There was one time they messed up the protocol, it wasn't anything too serious. It was just a human slip.
Description of Work: I've gone there about 10 years now and nothing much more than routine work.

If we feel like we don't need a filling he will talk to us about it and come up with a decision that is beneficial to both. We have been with them for 14 years. We will absolutely continue to use them.

Description of Work: My children and I have our dental care done here. I just recently moved my children to this dental office where they see Dr. Vold. I have been a patient here for over 7 years with another dentist in the office. They only offer Saturday cleaning/check-up appointments for children. But if other services are needed they will schedule children during the week. The Saturday-only children's cleaning appointments was the main reason I had not started bringing my children here sooner. But I have had my children at several other clinics where I have not been satisfied. When I finally did bring my youngest son here to have some cavities filled I was sorry that I hadn't done it much sooner. I appreciate the extensive experience and expertise that Dr. Vold has. He was unable to view the poorly copied x-rays from the previous clinic so he offered x-rays at no additional charge so he could diagnose them properly. And he did not "over" diagnose cavities as one of the previous providers had. I greatly appreciate this in a dentist! I definitely recommend Dr. Vold as well as this clinic overall.

Description of Work: I was having severe pain from TMJ. I respect Dr. Leong, because instead of going crazy and drilling away at my teeth and performing unnecessary root canals, he explained what was going on and made me feel very comfortable.

+ -1 moreDr. Masciopinto is excellent. She did some wonderful referral work for me and she was very prompt and helpful with that. I had called her at the suggestion of my regular physician to get some information about possible drug interactions with a different procedure. After I called her she called me right back, which was even after her work hours that evening. She suggested I speak with this particular periodontist that worked in her practice at Park Dental Maplewood. She gave me his number and the very next day I found out that she had already contacted him and they called me before I even got a chance to call them. The process went very fast and I was just so impressed that they went out of their way to help me. I was very happy with them. Dr. Masciopinto is always very up front about everything. She takes the time to explain things and to make sure that she answers any questions I may have. She gives a very thorough examination. I am very impressed with her and like her very much.
