+ -1 moreRegular appointment and cleaning went well. They offer evening hours on certain days. Dentist is nice and explains things well. Hygienists are pleasant and did a good job. Fillings were done with minimal discomfort and quickly. I recommend this office to friends.

+ -1 moreIt is extremely convenient because they go way into the evening and they work wonderfully. It is a little expensive. I am trying to find another dentist within the Park Dental system since I don't live downtown anymore.

Description of Work: I brought my elderly dad to this office. He is physically and cognitively compromised and the dentist, hygienist, and office staff did a fabulous job with him. They were all kind, gentle, and patient. Great office!

+ -1 moreThey are terrific and super. My dentist is really good and really on top of everything. They do a terrific job. They are conveniently located. It is easy to get through and easy to find. Their availability is terrific. Robin is the office manager and she is wonderful. The punctuality is good and they are usually running on time. Their treatment is effective.

+ -1 moreI had two separate visits - the first was a new patient visit where I filled out paperwork, they took x-rays, and I met with the dentist. All the staff was very friendly and they even had an opening for later that morning for the cleaning and asked if I'd like to stay rather than schedule a second visit. I had a meeting that day so scheduled a second visit and the cleaning went smoothly. The hygienist made pleasant small talk and was efficient and thorough.
Description of Work: I went to Park Dental at Silver Lake for a routine dental check up and cleaning. It had been over five years since my last check up and both the dentist and hygienist were very friendly and understanding.

+ -1 moreDr Bahnemann at the Park Dental office in Champlin has been my dentist for over 15 years. My only comparison it to my family dentist when I was growing up. Dr. Bahnemann is friendly, kind and not nearly as aggressive to perform additional procedures. For example, I've had 3-4 teeth that she's "watching" for potential issues. My old dentist would have quickly recommended drilling and filling. The office and equipment are getting dated (I've looked at the same picture on the wall every 6 months for 15 years!), but they'll be moving to a new facility this summer, so that should be addressed at that time.
Description of Work: Dr Bahnemann at the Park Dental office in Champlin has been my general dentist for over 15 years. In that time, she's performed a dental exam and review every 6 months.

+ -1 moreDr. Steele is an excellent at "diagnosing the problem", and explains the required procedure in detail. More importantly, there are NO SURPRISES!!! I have known him for many years, and won't go anywhere else!!
Description of Work: I have dealt with Dr. Steele for more than 10 years. He (AND his support staff) do EXCELLENT WORK! I have NO complaints AT ALL!!!!! (But "going to the dentist" still isn't much FUN!!!!!!!)

The office staff make you feel comfortable and listens to what you have to say. They listen to all of your concerns. They check everything out. She is very good at referring if you need a specialist.

+ -1 moreCara is a wonderful dental hygienist. She is very gentle in her treatment and careful not to cut or poke while removing the tartar, etc., from my teeth. I've visited other dental offices for other treatments and I can definitely say this is not the norm. I've actually had an assistant cut my mouth and then blame it on me because she thought I moved. I hope this person doesn't work on children. I'm sticking with Cara as my hygienist. Dr. Hermanson actually listens to me. She's great. I normally prefer female doctors and dentists because they don't exhibit the "god complex" that male professionals do. She's a wonderful person and a great dental professional. This review is not meant as an endorsement of the entire Park Dental system or even the whole E.P. office, as I've experienced problems with other dentists in this system/practice. The Cara/Dr. Hermanson team is a safe bet, though.
Description of Work: I see Cara every 6 months to get my teeth cleaned. She works with Dr. Hermanson, DDS. There are both wonderful. They listen to my concerns and have an excellent "chair-side" manner. Every time I see Cara she compliments me on the great condition of my teeth and that there's really nothing for her to scale off. Frankly I'm glad this is a boring visit for her because it means I'm taking good care of my teeth. This last time I was in, though, an antibiotic I'd been taking apparently had caused a film to collect on my teeth. She diligently worked to remove it all, as she understands that I appreciate the normally smooth feel of my teeth. Dr. Hermanson carefully monitors the condition of my teeth and old dental work. If something needs fixing or replacing, I'm confident she can handle it. I'm always asking her if there's been improvements in teeth whitening, as mine are tetracycline-stained. I keep hoping.

+ -1 moreI have used them for years. They are very efficient. If I go to some places I have to sit and wait, sometimes in the lobby even though it is past my appointment time. They are very, very diligent about making sure I am not sitting in there for more than five minutes, so they are always on track. They always reminded me about my appointment. They also have extended hours so they are open till 8 at night. My husband travels 90% of the time and sometimes he can’t judge when he is available so having extended hours is very helpful when he comes to the town.
