He did a great job & was able to do it without my being here. He was on time; called me to tell me what was wrong, & went ahead & fixed it, without requesting a credit card number. He said, "Just send me a check." Pretty amazing! He was also able to come out within a few hours of calling me.

Fantastic experience. I never met Mark in person, but spoke to him several times over the phone. He came out the next day after my first call to give me a quote, suggested a new door, & worked with me on the installation date. He was out the day he promised, was done in 3 hours. When I got home, I couldn't even tell Mark was there. I had a new door, a new opener, but there was no mess. Mark is a prime example of why I prefer to work with the "little guy." He was very responsive and punctual, and he did exactly what he said he would for exactly the price he said he'd do it for. He even worked with my tenant directly to arrange the time that he was going to be there so her car would be out of the way. Prices were comparable to other quotes I received - nominally lower.

They are competitive in the price and have good quality and work. We needed a door opening replacement, and he was here the next day.

I was convinced a new door was needed, but the company owner arrived within hours of my call and said it would be an easy fix. He did an outstanding job: extremely nice guy, knowledgeable expert, and very reasonably priced. He fixed the garage door so that it would work and then promptly returned the next morning to complete the job. Hamline Garage Door will be my first call the next time I need this type of service.

This repair was one of the most pleasant experiences I have had with a company. I was completely expecting to have to replace the garage door opener, and to pay for the opener, probably springs, miscellaneous repairs around it. I would not have been surprised at a $500-600 bill. This happened as I was heading in for surgery and the entire deal was set up on the phone. The work was done within a day, and the door opener and garage door have never worked better in the 14 years I have lived here! If I had known they could work such miracles at such a reasonable price, I would have had them here sooner! I continue to be shocked at the fact that they could have taken advantage of me completely because of my health situation, and they didn't. This is exactly the kind of company you would love to do business with.

Mark was super nice, was punctual, and did quality work. It was reasonably priced, and I would highly recommend him. Our old garage door opener had died and we had been given a new one as a gift. Mark gave me a quote over the phone that included removing the old opener and installing the new one. He was able to come out and do the work the day I called. After it was installed, he showed me all the features of the new opener (it included a key pad and other features that our old opener didn't have.) He also demonstrated how to use everything, and even showed me a feature that I didn't know about on our existing opener for our other garage door. We are looking at replacing our garage doors in the next few years, and I would call him again without hesitation with any garage door work!

We had a broken spring and a cable had come off which also caused the door to come off the track on one side. They came promptly when promised and performed the work exactly in the expected time. I would call them again without hesitation.

MARK CAME OVER ABOUT TEN MINUTES AFTER I CALLED THERE TO LOOK AT THE DOOR, AS HE WAS NOT FAR AWAY. THE DOOR IS AN ODD SIZE AND SET-UP, AND SOMETHING HE DOES NOT WORK ON. HE LIMITS HIS SERVICE RANGE IN ORDER TO KEEP HIS PRICES DOWN. HE RECOMMENDED ANOTHER COMPANY, HOWEVER. WHEN I OFFERED TO GIVE HIM SOME MONEY FOR THE SERVICE CALL, HE WOULD NOT TAKE IT. HE WAS PLEASANT AND HONEST AND VERY PROFESSIONAL.

VERY TIMELY AND DID EXCELLENT WORK. FIXED OUR PROBLEM IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER AND MADE SUGGESTIONS ON THE DOORS. WE WILL CERTAINLY HAVE THEM BACK IN THE SPRING TO HAVE NEW DOORS PUT ON.

THE FOLKS AT HAMLINE GARAGE DOOR WERE WONDERFUL. I NOTICED THAT ONE OF MY GARAGE DOORS WOULDN'T STAY UP ANYMORE. I CALLED ON A MONDAY FOR QUOTES AND HAMLINE SEEMED LIKE THE BEST DEAL. I HAVE A TUCK UNDER GARAGE AND MY GARAGE DOOR IS SHORTER THAN NORMAL. IT REQUIRES A CUSTOM-MADE DOOR. THIS GUY (DON'T REMEMBER HIS NAME) CALLED ME BACK AND REFERRED ME TO A PLACE THAT SPECIALIZES IN THIS TYPE OF NEED. VERY NICE!!!!
