Hamline Garage Door

They were very fast and professional. They knew exactly what they were doing and got it straightened out in no time. I would use them again. The price was great. He came within a couple of hours.

Garage door spring broke around 5:30 Fri. night. I called and left a message in case anyone was still there, but figured they would get back to me on Mon. Mark did call Sat. morning and left a message, but I didn't get the message till later that afternoon. He stopped by Mon. morning and replaced both springs, so now the garage door works again. Mark also took time to answer questions.

Exited the garage in our van while door was coming down. Caught van roof and bent bottom garage door panel and pulled door out of track, also tangling the cables. Thought the door would need to be replaced. Mark came over the same day and was able to fix it in about a half hour. Only needed to replace one track that had been bent. Adjusted electric door opener as well to make it run smoother than before accident. Estimated repair to be $100 but received bill for only $94.

I called about 9:30 am and asked for an estimate. He asked some questions--single or double door, etc. and gave an estimate of $129 (this may not be exactly correct, but close). I said I wanted the work done and he replied that he would be here between 2 and 3 that afternoon. He arrived at approximately 2:30 pm and checked the door. He said he would have to replace the spring as it was so old that it would not work with the other replacements he had to make and it would be $40 to $50 more. I said OK. The work was finished in about 35 minutes. He reviewed with me what he had done and asked if I wanted him to take the replaced parts or if he could put them in my garbage. He took them to recycle by others who would pick them up. Clean-up was excellent. It was an great experience and the door is working well.

A great experience. I called to ask about an issue I had noticed with the garage door, rollers were falling off and it looked a little bit precarious. Mark indicated that he would like to come by the same day, which worked great for me. He was here a little later in the afternoon. He checked everything out and gave me a few options for how to proceed. Since a new door was not necessary at this time, I had him do the rollers and springs, since the springs were looking pretty old and worn. He had the work done in about an hour and the door works great. He actually charged me a lower price than he had originally quoted, he figured out a different way to calculate it to save me money, even though I had indicated I was happy with the original price. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and I am recommending this company to my friends and neighbors.

Pulled out of the garage to go to work, hit the button to close the door -- nothing; checked the opener using the inside-the-garage button, just the buzz of the opener unsuccessfully trying to do something. Called Hamline Garage @ 8, left a message, went to work; Mark called around 8:45, said he'd be there by 1, would fix it and leave a bill. The weather was great & I wanted to watch, so I came home at noon. Mark came at 1, and had the door back on its hinges and the new garage door opener and all required safety features (which the old door didn't have) installed by 2:30. Charged me $10 more than the over-the-phone quote because when he saw how heavy the door was he recommended a larger moter (3/4 hp instead of 1/2 hp). Did not charge me for some of the other needed fixes that he didn't find out about until he came & inspected the door -- i.e.g, realigning the door, fixing a hinge and reinstalling a roller. Very fast, very efficient, very professional.

Wonderfully. I was so impressed with the reasonable price and the very fast service. The garage door and track are very nice quality and work great. They sealed the door all the way around so there will be no mice getting into our garage this year! Mark even replace the lightbulbs in the garage door opener -- what a nice touch! I can't say enough about how impressed I am with this company. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Excellent. Was able to come 4 days ahead of schedule. Prompt and very neat.

Contractor showed up on time (a few minutes early, even!) for both the estimate and the installation. Total time to repair the door, tracks and springs was less than 2.5 hours. Hauled away our old door at no extra charge. Contractor was courteous, knowledgeable and friendly.

They were punctual. They came out before they had said they would come. I will grade them high across all categories.

He called the morning he was scheduled, saying he was running early and asked if it was OK if he came early. No problem for us. He came and completed the work quickly, and left our garage much cleaner than he found it. I highly recommend him and would not hesitate to call him again with any questions or problems with our garage door or opener.

Mark called promptly, the day I left a message with him. For the work, he showed up right on time, and explained the diagnosis very clearly. We went over options and decided on repair. He finished the work that day and the garage door works well.

I called Hamline Garage Door because our garage door stopped working. Mark answered immediately, was in the neighborhood, and came by in less than an hour. He was professional and courteous. He had given me an estimate on the phone, and the total was exactly what he had said. We would definitely use this company again.

It was a holiday weekend - the Friday before the 4th. I called in the morning. The guy came out in a couple of hours. Very reasonable. I'd use them again.

Perfect. I called Mark on Friday and he was out on Monday. Installed opener in about an hour and explained operation.

Mark was on time, explained everything that needed to be done and why (especially related to the unexpected beam problem) and when the installation was complete, gave me a very through tutorial on the garage door opener.

It was wonderful. I called him one day, and he was able to come out that same day. Gave me enough information over the phone that I felt comfortable hiring him on the spot. Noticed that I didn't need a whole new system, that only a controller was broken, so the repair was not as bad as I initially thought. He didn't try to sell me something I didn't need - and I appreciated that. I will definitely call him again.

Mark was on time and quickly repaired the broken spring. He also properly lubricated the door and offered some useful tips for all of our doors. I would definitely use Hamline Garage Door again.

I called at 8:15 am and Mark was able to be out there before 11 am the same day. Seeing the the door opener was non-operative, he quickly diagnosed the problem and brought the entire system up to snuff. He was scheduled for 11 am, but by the time I met him at 10 of, he was almost done.
