Description of Work: Did a complete spring tune up on my lawnmower. Not the cheapest but I got in right away and he was done before he promised. It starts up right away and runs like a charm. I would definitely go back to Gregie's again. |

Description of Work: My new lawn mower would not start "Greg" looked at it and got it started in a matter of minutes and then he advised me about maintenance and upkeep. I liked the fact that he is a small neighborhood business of which you do not see often anymore and I believe that is why I got the attention that I did. THANKS GREGIES!!!

Description of Work: My lawnmower hadn't been maintained for years, and the self-propel transmission was starting to slip. He cleaned the mower, sharpened the blades, changed filters, oil, fuel and cleaned the carburetor. In addition, he adjusted the transmission. It looks and works better than it has for years. He explained how to maximize the remaining life of the transmission, and gave me an estimate for replacement.

Description of Work: I called asking about a snow blower repair. I called because in the reviews, it indicated pick-up and delivery out to at least 8 miles from the shop. When asked about it, he said "if you want me, you have to come to me." I don't need this type of arrogance, no matter how good he is. Approx. cost: $170.00.

 + -1 moreI took the mower in to Gregie's in the morning, and he had it done that afternoon. Also explained things I could do to keep the mower working better and longer.
Description of Work: Greg cleaned the lawn mower, fixed a leaky carb, sharpened the blade, tuned it up, fixed the pull cord and also fixed the throttle.

 + -1 moreI called Gregie's and he picked it up, serviced it completely and delivered it when promised. My snowblower now works perfectly and I'm very pleased to have it for the coming winter.
Description of Work: He found that a stick, ice and a large mouse nest were preventing my Ariens 824 snowblower from blowing snow. It works very well now. He also greased it, changed the oil and checked it over entirely. The price included pickup and delivery which was about 8 miles each way.

 + -1 moreI wasn't able to get the blade off the machine, so I brought the entire mower in. He was great took the blade off, did a sharpening on it and put the blade back on and I was out of there in 15 minutes.

WHERE ELSE DO YOU GET SAME DAY SERVICE??? MY INQUIRY FOR THE SERVICE CALL WAS MADE ABOUT 5 DAYS EARLIER. I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH THE EXCELLENT SERVICE, AND SO GLAD I DIDN'T HAVE TO DELIVER THE MACHINE SOMEWHERE MYSELF.

 + -1 moreI CALLED GREGIE AT 11:45 AM SATURDAY AND HE SAID HIS SHOP WAS OPEN UNTIL 1PM. I GOT THERE AT NOON, EXPLAINED THE PROBLEM AND HE DIAGNOSED IT AS A DIRTY CARBURETOR. HE CLEANED THE CARBURETOR, GAS TANK AND FUEL FILTER, CHECKED THE SPARK, PLUG BELT, PADDLE. PUT IN NEW GAS AND DID A TEST RUN. HE HAD IT COMPLETED BY 12:45 SAME DAY. HE TOLD ME HOW TO PREVENT IT FROM HAPPENING AGAIN. HIS SHOP IS SPOTLESS. I WILL BE USING GREGIE'S IN THE SPRING FOR MY LAWN MOWER TUNEUP.
