Craftman's Choice did an excellent job for us!! We hired them for two projects... We live in Plymouth, MN and have been in our house for 26 years. In 2019, we decided to have new siding installed, and we hired them to install James Hardy Siding. They did a fantastic job for us. It went very smoothly and they communicated with us very well. Then, in 2021, we hired Craftman's Choice to replace our roof. Again, they did a fantastic job. Chris Overton, who manages their roofing group is a great guy. Our roof is a weird design (pitch over garage running towards house) and Chris came up with a great solution for us. We highly recommend Craftsman's Choice for both siding and roofing!!

From our first meeting at a local home improvement show, to the end of the installation, it all was outstanding. Everyone was professional, methodical, and kind. Communication was excellent throughout the project. Friends, neighbor’s, and I, as we witnessed the transformation of our home, are in awe of the work, product, and styling. I highly recommend Craftsman’s Choice, and we would definitely use them again for future projects.

I feel extremely fortunate to have had the excellent service, skill and craftsmanship from Craftsman Choice. Mike Ziegler, Jeff Witt, Darrin and Phil from the roofing crew, Michael from the siding crew, Jose from the shingling crew and Valente from the painting crew (and of course all of the workers who worked with them) not only did an excellent job and provided great leadership, but they were attentive to every single question or concern I had. This is an extremely talented team of people. I live in a 1920s cottage-style house and wanted to maintain the integrity and original style of my home. I got bids from three different construction companies, but none of them paid attention to the details like Craftsman. They followed through on every item. Highly recommended!

It went great! The work was completed as expected and with high quality craftsmanship. I found they were very knowledgeable and conscientious about the work being done. Any concerns that came up were taken care of promptly. They also had ideas for our windows that we hadn’t thought of and we were very pleased with the results. I would highly recommend Craftsman Choice!

Over the last 5 years Craftsman Choice worked with us to replace our roof, all of our windows (42) and all of our doors. We had such a positive experience with the roof, when it came time to do our windows and doors, they won our business. The thing that makes Craftsman Choice stand out is their attention to detail, their responsiveness to our inquiries, and any actions required after installation. They even repaired an issue from our siding vendor as that company stop responding immediately after installation. Craftsman Choice, to this day. responds. There are very few roofing, window, door, and siding folks that will respond once they are paid, but Craftsman Choice continues to respond. I also have to speak highly about the salesperson, the project managers, and the craftsman that we experienced over this time frame. All performed highly, were great to work with, accommodating, knowledgeable, and made the projects easy. Sales was upfront, transparent, patient, and honest. Project managers were responsive, gave the bad news fast if there was any, and worked with us to get the job done to our satisfaction. The craftsman working for Craftsman Choice are all true craftsmen; and I do not use that term lightly. They have been there, done that, and that experience shown through thoroughly in each job performed. There will always be issues, but how Craftsman Choice chooses to deal with the issues makes them stand out. I have referred them to many coworkers and friends and have had no regrets in making a recommendation. I am not an employee; I do not own stock in Craftsman Choice, but the reason I write this is when someone performs poorly, I speak up. And, when someone does a good job, I like to make it known. FYI the $90k I mentioned in this was over three different jobs and several years. Would I go back to a poor company? No, I would not. I went back to Craftsman Choice twice!

We got our windows and siding done recently through Craftsman's Choice. In the past they did our roof. Everyone in their team did an amazing job. They were extremely good in communicating what is going on. The windows were late in arriving from the manufacturer and they told us about it. The workmanship for both the windows and the siding were excellent. Many of my neighbors who are very picky about the work done came up to me to mention how great a job these guys did. Matt Enfield, their salesperson with whom I dealt with the most is a guy whom I can trust. I don't know how many times we went back and forth on what we wanted and he was very patient came to our house numerous times to make sure that we got exactly what we wanted. He provided pros and cons of everything. I feel very grateful to have found these group of people to work on our house.

Ben and his staff were great to work with! They were friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. They kept us “in the loop” throughout the entire process. I would definitely hire them again and will refer them to everyone I know!

Great Company. We originally reached out to Craftman's Choice after seeing their State Fair display Ben took the time to undertand our situation regarding an insurance exterior siding job that was underway. He provided very helpful information on what to expect and what to look for in proper Hardy installation. We learned a lot, James Hardy siding is a fantastic product but must be installed properly. Many companies install James Hardy siding but not all companies correctly install James Hardy products. The sheer willingness to help us understand more about the benefits and installation processes with James Hardie speaks volumes about Craftsman's Choice and their concern for the customer experience and overall satisfaction.

The owner was very punctual, extremely knowledgeable and very responsive. Throughout the job they kept the yard very clean and were very accommodating to other projects that were happening at our house. Having done lots of research on Hardie I was glad to see that they were following the recommendations on installation from the manufacturer and I saw no corners cut on our project. The pricing was reasonable and all costs were broken down up front with no surprises on completion. Our roof was replaced by a Craftsman’s crew and during the removal of the old roof one of the shingles hit a large picture window and scratched it. The siding crew noticed this and made us aware. Craftsman’s arraigned for the manufacturer to replace the large pane very quickly. We would definitely use them again in the future.

The communication was not that good, the 2 guys that did the work could have done a better job, the work was not that good, and they scratched up our brand new deck, they eventually replaced the damaged deck, the skylight was leaking and dripping into our furniture, but that was resolved as well, but it took them several times before getting it right. The whole experience was so stressful.

We hired Craftsman’s Choice to replace windows and siding on out home. This included removing old siding, wrapping the house in new protective wrap, removing and installing new windows, converting an existing window opening to be a sliding door, converting a door into a window, new siding on the house including all new vents and lights on the outside of our home. The tear off the old siding went well with some minor damage to existing soffits on the house (not being replaced). We had asked them to take extra caution around soffits/facia and gutters as they were only about a year old and in perfect shape at the start of the project. House wrap and new window installation went smooth. The crew was able to make sure windows were installed correctly and the existing framing was adjusted to make sure everything was square and level. The flashing and weather proofing of the windows was done, and the crews made sure everything was up to code so that there would be no issues with the inspection. The only issue was we were told they would foam around the window then pack the rest of the opening with fiberglass insulation for best performance. They did the foam but never followed up with fiberglass insulation before putting on the casing. The only was to correct this after the fact would be to remove all the new window casing to install insulation. The new casing around the windows/door was probably the most disappointing/low quality work in this project. Several windows have new trim installed not level to the rest of the trim. Some as far out of square as 3/16 of an inch which is very noticeable to the eye. The trim on the new sliding glass patio door has one piece of trim that is 5/16th of an inch above the level of the floor while the other side is cut perfectly flush to the floor. This stands out and is very hard to clean around. This will need to be replaced to correct the issue. Overall, I would call the quality of work for the window casing below average or even amateur. The new siding installation was completed by one of their standard sub-contractor crews. They were fast and efficient. The only issue with the new siding installation was that they never installed the new color matched dryer vent that was ordered. It was just left in the box with the extra materials. Overall, this project from start to finish was completed in about three and a half months during the covid-19 pandemic. This time frame was very good seeing as the window order lead time was about 10 weeks. The crews were good about cleaning up each day before they left to keep the house in a livable condition during this project. I would rate Craftsman’s Choice about 2.4 stars. The work was completed quickly but was lacking the quality and attention to detail that was promised to us from the sale person. There was also no quality check/walk through at the end of the project to ensure we were happy with the work. I believe this was due to the lack of communication between the separate crews within Craftsman’s Choice. Each service they offer (windows, siding, etc) has a different project manager and crew. Communication between theses different crews and managers seems to be lacking as each crew was not aware of the overall project plan and timeline.

They were very professional and did high quality work. They used high quality supplies and made sure to do the job to my high standards! My new windows are fantastic and the trim work to match my old home's other trim is beautiful!

Craftsman’s Choice did a great job installing our new siding. Then about 6 months later we used them to replace our roof. Both jobs were done nicely and on time. We would trust them to do any work on our house.

We were very pleased with Craftsman's Choice. Mike Ziegler was great when it came to pricing the job and figuring out what we needed. Chris Overson, who oversaw the actual work, was outstanding and a complete pleasure to work with. And all of their crews were great. They were all very hard working, did a superb job, and left the work areas clean at the end of each day. We have been entirely satisfied with their work and final outcome and would not hesitate to work with them again in the future!

Fantastic experience with this company. Did their vey best to come up with a solution to fit my budget for my priorities in 2010. It was such a positive experience that I had them come back to quote the remaining projects. My windows and siding have cut down on noise by 75% (live near freeway)...a huge improvement. In addition my heating and cooling bills are half of what they were! Great people to work with from quote to completion of job. I will post an update when finished with this next phase.
