It was great! They arrived within a couple of hours, chiseled out the ice, fixed the electric garage door and were on their way! Very satisfied and would (for sure) call them again if I need similar service.

Electronic Door Lift has been servicing---and, once, replacing---our garage door for more than 20 years. They know what they are doing and are willing to explain and fix the problem without suggesting an entirely new door.

A friend had recommended EDL when I told her my garage door wouldn't open at all anymore.  I called in the early morning for a ballpark estimate.  The price quoted sounded reasonable so we agreed to it.  Ken was professional, direct and kind over the phone.  He said he'd stop by to take a look at the door and complete it by the end of the week.  He said he'd either drop in that day or call in the morning the next day.  He called in the morning and came out a little after noon.  He fixed the door in short order and went out to get the opener.  He came back, installed it, and it runs so nicely!  I'm very pleased with his work.  He was also very kind to my children who liked to watch him.  We appreciated having him here and he did excellent work.  I'll be calling him if we should ever have trouble... though I don't think we will.

During the recent cold winter, my garage door started to squeak and rattle while opening and closing. It also appeared to be binding during the cycle. I called EDL and left a message on Friday. On Monday morning I got a call from their office and a service man arrived a few hours afterwards. In less than an hour, he had adjusted and lubricated my garage door and opener. Very pleasant and professional.

Fabulous. They are very customer service oriented and refuse to install nothing but the best, which in my opinion is a Lift Master at a very competitive price.

We called EDL late Saturday afternoon and were told they would come sometime Monday. Monday morning they called and said they would come right before noon. At 11:45 they called again and said they would be at our house in 10 minutes. They were and they repaired the door well as I indicated in the previous paragraph. We were very pleased with the promptness of service, the thoroughness of the person doing the repair, and the result.

Prompt response, knowledgeable. Required trip back to shop to get exact replacement springs and keypad, but was back in a very short time. Installation went without problems.

He's a true professional. He took the time needed to do a good job and explained all that he did to me. He did a very detailed job and inspected everything so it is running like a charm now, He also corrected prior work done by a carpenter that was not done correctly. He started promptly, worked for 5 hours, and did a great job cleaning up. He's also very personable and easy to talk with so that I could get my questions answered. He left me a very happy customer!

I phoned Electronic Door Lift Co. Inc.. at approximately 9:00 a.m. Monday morning and requested someone between 2 and 3 that afternoon. At approximately 2:00 p.m. Carl arrived, I explained the symptoms and Carl went to work. Within a few minutes Carl had the problem isolated, explained the cause to me and showed me the part that failed (a capacitor); he then went back to the shop for the part. In a short time Carl returned, completed the repair and then checked the rest of the door and lubricated the rollers. Carl was very pleasant, very knowledgeable, very professional and very efficient; our repair was completed in less than an hour including the trip for the part. Carl is also a pleasant person to work with. I give Carl and Electronic Door Lift Co. Inc. 5 stars.

My garage door opener would not always shut the door. I called EDL to have the opener tuned up. When the service rep. arrived, he told me electronic eye was probably blocked and he cleaned the eye wires. He also did a thorough inspection of the door and opener. Turns out the eye was not the problem but the hinges on my door were loose causing the door to catch on the tracks when it was going down. He tightened the hinges, adjusted and greased the tracks. Now the door works perfectly. The service rep was very helpful in answering all my questions.

Very easy to set up appointments with. The service men are very easy to deal with, they don't mind if you ask them questions. I think they are very good.

CALLED KEN AT 8:30AM AND WAS HERE BY 10:30. VERY PROFESSIONAL, POLITE AND THOROUGH. IT WAS REFRESHING TO HAVE AN EXPERIENCED TECHNICIAN (20+ YEARS EXPERIENCE)WORK ON YOUR DOOR VS. A 19 YEAR OLD ''ROOKIE'' WHO INSTALLED THE DOOR OPENER FROM A COMPETITIVE, HIGHLY ADVERTISED COMPANY. I HAVE USED EDL BEFORE IN MY PREVIOUS HOME AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM. KEN ALSO GAVE ME A VERY COMPETITIVE QUOTE ON A SECOND OPENER. THIS GUY KNOWS HIS STUFF - FORGET THE GUYS WHO ADVERTISE.

I HAVE USED AT LEAST THREE TIMES OVER A NUMBER OF YEARS. I THINK THEY ARE TERRIFIC. EACH VISIT, EVEN WITHOUT MY ASKING THEY LUBRICATE THE OPENER CHAIN MOVING PARTS ON THE DOOR. THAT IMPRESSES ME.

DURING THE FOLLOWING WEEK, MY GARAGE DOOR OPENER BROKE. I CALLED FOR SERVICE AND RECEIVED A PROMPT, COURTEOUS, AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSE.

THIS IS AN EXCELLENT COMPANY TO WORK WITH. HE CAME OUT WITHIN TWO HOURS OF OUR CALL AND I APPRECIATED THAT! BECAUSE OF THE EXTREMELY COLD WEATHER THE NEXT DAY THERE WAS A RELATED PROBLEM AND AGAIN, HE CAME RIGHT AWAY! HE WAS CHEERY, AND EXPLAINED THAT OUR GARAGE DOOR OPENER WAS GETTING OLD AND MAY NEED REPLACED SOON. THIS WAS AN EMERGENCY AS I COULD NOT GET MY CAR OUT OF THE GARAGE. HE MADE NO ATTEMPT TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MY SITUATION BY RECOMMENDING MORE THAN I NEEDED. I WAS DELIGHTED WITH KEN'S WORK.

CAME OUT RIGHT AWAY THE SAME DAY, BROUGHT ENTIRE NEW SYSTEM JUST IN CASE WE NEEDED IT--WE DIDN'T, AND THEY DIDN'T TRY TO TELL US WE DID--JUST FIXED WHAT NEEDED FIXING PROMPTLY AND AT A FAIR PRICE. SEVERAL VERY SATISFYING EXPERIENCES WITH THIS COMPANY
