He was excellent. John is very nice to work with, happy to keep in close touch and a man of his word. He didn't mind when the original job was cut down to a much smaller repair. The job was on time, on budget and looks great.

We are incredibly happy with the work John did! I have already recommended him to several friends and family members! John made the whole experience easy. He truly knows concrete, and was able to explain exactly the what and why of the work they needed to do so even I could understand. The old apron had sunk over time and the front sidewalk had also sunk and shifted - people would trip on it. The new sidewalk is truly a work of art with beautiful curves! The apron looks wonderful! John was really easy to work with and a really nice guy, as were his crew. He also gave me advice/information on how to patch/fix our front concrete porch ourselves. He came at the times he said he would. The work was done exactly when he said it would be. He even refixed the garage apron after my teenage son walked through it after it was poured! I will definitely use him again if we need concrete work done. Highly recommended!!!

John was very pleasant and had helpful suggestions, but his estimate was almost twice the next lowest. Going with another bidder.

I was very impressed with them. They were prompt, extremely professional and easy to work with. They revised estimates in writing and came when they said they would. John explains the process and pricing thoroughly. Not hard sell at all. It's been a very good experience, the work is wonderful. I can't recommend them highly enough.

John was great-came out same day called, seemed like he knew his stuff, had good ideas, sent us a proposal in the mail, would start immediately after wet cold weather subsided. Basically didn't go with him do to cost.

This company's bid was 42% higher than what I ultimately paid another contractor for this work. The only difference was that I got 4'' depth instead of the 5'' this company proposed. I would consider using this company only if their price was more competitive.

The whole experience was awesome. I left a message for John on a Thursday, by Tuesday of the next week he had completed the job. He met his timelines for the estimate and final job, was professional in all his dealings with me, explained what needed to be done (and why) as well as how he would do it. He offered suggestions on what would look best for my job but left the final decision to me. The crew cleaned up and hauled away all the debris... the driveway has never looked so good! I could not be happier with the job that Concrete Builders did for me and would not hesitate to use them again.

John was very knowledgeable about concrete & had a very good plan to pave our driveway. The work was completely done in less than 2 days from tearing out the old asphalt driveway to finish & cleanup. John & his assistants, Steve & Pat, were all about hustle, as well as respecting our property. He even did a nice tie-in to the existing sidewalk that would prevent future problems there. I would have to recommend concrete for a driveway if anyone is wondering between asphalt & concrete. A well built concrete driveway will be less expensive in the long run & much less hassle. My experience is sometimes you get what you pay for, & it is definitely worth paying more for quality.

John Reichert came out and gave me an estimate on the work done. He was on time and was very pleasant. Once I had decided to hire him, I worked with John to add my job to his schedule. They removed the old sidewalk and step in one day, and they also laid down the forms for the concrete. John pulled the permit and scheduled the inspection. Two days later, they came and poured the new sidewalk and step. The following day, they came back and took down the forms and placed sod back in on the sidewalk borders. They left my yard in excellent condition. I am extremely happy with their professionalism and quality of the job. I would highly recommend Concrete Builders!

Excellent. Quality work. They were professional and able to converse with homeowner on special needs. They called when they couldn't come due to rain forecast and kept me more in the loop on things than any of the the other subs I've had at the house.

I called at 8:45 am on April 6th and John returned my call at 9:00 am the same day. Steve an associate came out and made an estimate while I was at work. Received call from Steve Friday 4/7 in the evening. Met with Steve early Saturday afternoon. Steve has been doing this sort of work for several years and answered all my questions and concerns. Both John and Steve were very knowledgeable and up-front with what would transpire with the job if we decided to pick their co. Gave them half down at that time. Received call evening of 4/10 stating that the road restrictions were off for the amount of weight the truck would be carrying for the job and planned the job for Wednesday 4/12. By 4:00 when I returned home on 4/12, job was finished and roped off with our understanding that we were not to drive on it for 5 days. Area was clean and workers were no longer there. I am extremely pleased with the results. I can't say enough about the excellent work and would highly recommend to anyone.

Ultimately, I ended up contracting with another reputable company whose bid came in a bit lower. However, out of all of the companies that came out to bid on the job, I found that John had the most ideas about what could be done and what would look nice with the house. He was also respectful of my general budget for the project; he offered suggestions, but was not pushy.

Promptly returned phone call, came out to give an estimate, arrived on time, and quoted 2 ways. Very good at communicating. Job was done on time.

John (the owner) made several visits to advise us on the location of a new detached garage and help us resolve a difficult drainage problem. He listened to our goals and responded with ideas based on his years of experience. John never pushed his ideas but was happy to discuss options that fit our needs and budget. John and his crew were punctual and always able to explain exactly what they were doing at each step in the project. They kept the work area tidy and removed all debris promptly. John works along side his crew, so we knew that he would personally manage the details that had been agreed to during earlier conversations. We never felt that we had to stay home to monitor the work and never returned home to an unpleasant surprise. Small changes were made as the work progressed, and John handled those adjustments with his usual cheerfulness and patience. His professionalism and quality of work are exceptional; we will use Concrete Builders for all future projects.

JOHN AND HIS CREW WERE ABLE TO DO THE WORK MUCH SOONER THAN OTHER COMPANIES I CONTACTED. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND ALL WORK TOGETHER VERY WELL. THE JOB WAS FINISHED IN ONE FULL DAY. JOHN CAME BACK AND CLEANED UP A FEW DAYS LATER, THEN CONTACTED US AGAIN TO BE SURE WE WERE PLEASED WITH THE JOB. VERY PROFESSIONAL, AND A JOB WELL DONE! THANK YOU!

JOHN WAS VERY NICE. I WOULD HIRE HIM IN THE FUTURE. HE SAID HE WOULD NOT DO THIS PROJECT. I FELT IT WAS BECAUSE HE DIDN'T WANT TO DO THE LIFTING OF THE GARAGE. HE WAS GREAT, KNOWLEDGEABLE, AND PROFESSIONAL.

THEY ALWAYS SHOWED UP WHEN EXPECTED AND THE JOB WAS FINISHED IN SHORT ORDER, EVEN CONSIDERING OUR RAINY FALL WEATHER. WE HAD A NUMBER OF BIDS AND CONCRETE BUILDERS CAME IN VERY COMPETITIVE. THEY WERE NOT THE LOWEST BID, BUT AFTER EACH CONTRACTOR HAD VISITED, I FELT THAT CONCRETE BUILDERS WAS GOING TO GIVE ME EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED. I WAS NOT LET DOWN. THE JOB WAS A LITTLE MORE COMPLICATED THAN AN ORDINARY GARAGE SLAB. IT WAS SET IN TO A HILL AND REQUIRED A BLOCK WALL. IN ADDITION, WE WANTED THE SLAB INSULATED AND TUBING INSTALLED FOR RADIANT HEAT. WE DID THE EXCAVATION, PREP-WORK AND TUBING INSTALL OURSELVES. JOHN AND HIS CREW DID THE POUR, FINISHING AND BLOCK WORK. THE WORKSITE WAS ALWAYS CLEANED UP AFTER THE DAYS WORK WAS COMPLETED. I WOULD NOT HESITATE TO USE THEM AGAIN.

JOHN WAS VERY EXPERIENCED AND PLEASANT. HE AND HIS SWEET DOG CAME TO DO THE ESTIMATE. HE CALLED ME THE NEXT DAY WITH THE ESTIMATE. I TRUSTED AND LIKED HIM, BUT THE ESTIMATE WAS HIGHER THAT OTHERS I HAD RECEIVED, SO I WENT WITH ANOTHER COMPANY.

I CALLED THE COMPANY AND LEFT A MESSAGE. WHEN HE FINALLY RETURNED THE CALL, THEY LEFT A MESSAGE FOR ME AS I WAS NOT HOME. I THEN CALLED THEM BACK TWICE OVER THE COURSE OF A WEEK AND NO ONE RESPONDED. WHEN I FINALLY REACHED HIM, HE CLAIMED THAT HE HAD LOST MY NUMBER AND WOULD BE GOING OUT OF TOWN.

CALLED JOHN TO GET A BID, JOHN RETURNED OUR CALL WITHIN ONE DAY, WAS OUT TO DO AN ESTIMATE 2 DAYS LATER (AS PROMISED). JOHN TOOK THE TIME TO CAREFULLY EXPLAIN WHAT THEY WERE DOING AND ANSWERED ALL OUR QUESTIONS. AFTER WE ACCEPTED THE BID WE WERE GIVEN AN ESTIMATED START DATE. 2 DAYS BEFORE THE ESTIMATED START DATE WE RECEIVED A CALL STATING THEY WOULD BE ON TIME. WHEN JOHN ARRIVED HE TOLD US WHAT THEY WOULD BE DOING, GAVE A TIME TABLE FOR THE WORK, ETC. THE STEPS LOOK GREAT, THEY CLEANED UP THE JOB SITE NICELY AND ALL IS WELL. IN ADDITION TO THE WORK THAT WAS BID, THERE WERE A FEW MINOR CONCRETE REPAIRS IN ANOTHER AREA OF THE HOME THAT JOHN AND TEAM PATCHED FOR NO ADDITIONAL FEE. WE RECEIVED 3 BIDS FOR THIS WORK, ALL FOR APPROXIMATELY THE SAME AMOUNT. JOHN'S PROFESSIONALISM AND THE ANGIE'S LIST RECOMMENDATIONS ARE WHAT SOLD US.

JOHN REALLY TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN THE WORK, SHOW ME THE MATERIALS HE USED, DRAW PICTURES. HE DID THE WORK VERY SOON AFTER WE OK'ED THE JOB. WE DIDN'T WAIT FOR MONTHS! HE CALLED ME TO LET ME KNOW HOW THE JOB WAS GOING TO PROGRESS. I WAS NEVER IN DOUBT. MY BROTHER-IN-LAW, WHO OWNS HIS OWN LANDSCAPING BUSINESS, IS NOW RECOMMENDING HIM TO HIS CUSTOMERS. JOHN WILL BE COMING BACK TO DO OUR PATIO IN THE FALL.

JOHN IS A GREAT GUY TO WORK WITH. HE'S VERY HONEST AND ETHICAL ABOUT DEALING WITH PEOPLE. HE ADMITS HE'S NOT THE CHEAPEST, BUT HE DOES QUALITY WORK AND GAVE ME GREAT ADVISE ON HOW TO FINISH OFF MY INTERIOR BASEMENT WALLS AND ALSO HOW TO LANDSCAPE THE OTHER SIDE OF MY HOUSE TO PULL AWAY MOISTURE FROM THE HOUSE. AFTER HE STARTED TEARING OUT THE SIDEWALK HE THOUGHT IT WOULD BE BEST TO REMOVE ANOTHER 3'X 3' SECTION OF MY SIDEWALK NEAR THE BACK CORNER OF THE HOUSE. HE DIDN'T INCLUDE THIS IN THE ORIGINAL BID SO HE DIDN'T CHARGE ME FOR IT. THE WORKERS WERE GREAT. THEY WERE VERY FAST AND EFFICIENT. THEY REMOVED, FRAMED, AND POURED IN ONE DAY. THEY LAYED THE TILE AND PATCHED THE 2ND DAY AND WERE DONE. THE EXTERIOR TILE ALONG THE SIDEWALK WAS A GREAT IDEA. I DON'T HAVE A SUMP PUMP IN THE BASEMENT SO THIS ELIMINATES HAVING TO THINK OF DOING THAT SOME DAY. IT'S MUCH CHEAPER AND MORE EFFICIENT TO CATCH THE WATER OUTSIDE THE HOUSE INSTEAD OF INSIDE. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND JOHN AND HIS CREW.
