We learned about Zerorez in radio ads and also they have donated services to a non-profit's silent auction that we support. I called them and got a quote for the wall-to-wall carpet cleaning and upholstery cleaning. It qualified for the "3-room special" because the family room was large enough to be considered 2 rooms, and the recliner's upholstery counts as another "room". ($174.85 total: $149 special + $14 environmental fee + tax). I was told the technician could give me a price on the area rug once he arrived at my house. The technician (I forget his name) arrived on the appointed day at the agreed time. He explained the entire "empowered water" process, and proceeded to clean the wall-to-wall carpet and the recliner's upholstery. It was quick and efficient, and left a pleasant "citrus" fragrance. We put fans on it and left furniture off until the next morning, by which time it was very dry. He said he could not give me a price on the area rug but would have to take it back to the shop. (Before he had arrived, I had gotten a price by phone from the company we have used in the past for area rugs, so I had a comparison point.) I asked him to call the shop, which he did immediately, and they did give an estimate. It was very comparable to the price I'd gotten from the previous area rug cleaner, so I let him take it with him back to the shop. He said Michael would call me in a few days after examining it. As promised, Michael called and gave me a firm price ($221.85 + tax = $238). It was LOWER than the phone quote, and considerably lower than the company we have used before, so I told him to go ahead. Michael said it would be delivered in 2-3 weeks, which it was. Everything was back in place well before Thanksgiving. Just recently, a spot of red Jello was dropped on the wall-to-wall carpet. Before using any commercial spot removed, I called Zerorez. They put technician Bobby on the phone, and he spent at least 15 minutes on the phone with me. He asked questions to get all the information he needed, then Bobby gave me a home remedy that worked great! Given our entire experience, I am sure we will use Zerorez again for carpet cleaning needs. I especially appreciated the phone advise for the red Jello stain!

Contacted Zerorez on a Wednesday to clean carpet in one bedroom - in particular to address a corner in which a cat had urinated. They were able to schedule the cleaning the next day and when I had to reschedule on Thursday due to a conflict they were able to again accomodate the next day. I was given a time window of 1-4pm on the Friday and the service technician arrived at 1pm. He discussed with me the approach to cleaning the affected area and completed the job in about a hal hour. The cost was a little more than we spoke about on the phone but I did select an enhanced treatment for pet urine so it was not a total suprise. The technician was courteous and did a fine job.

No problems from start to finish, set a cleaning date, they came on time, he did his job explained to me about the carpet in the t.v. room, because in spots it was wearing down from wear and tear, but the spots did come up, was very happy with the results. It was painless, I will hire again to clean furniture.

While the two college age employees conducted themselves in a professional manner and performed the cleaning in a thorough manner, the Zerorez cleaning method did not measure up. One thing I did not like was the extra amount the company charges for services that I felt should be part of the cleaning: Pet stain odor remover and scotch guard type stain guard. I went ahead and paid the extra $50 for the pet odor remover, but did not go with the stain guard. Everything seemed to go ok while the techs were here. I could not really see much change in the way the rug looked because it is dark brown in color anyway. But what I did notice was after the carpet dried, the feel and texture of the fibers had been changed in the cleaning process. They no longer felt soft and cushiony underfoot. They had become coarse, wirey and had a frayed appearance. The rug has never been the same since. Also, the company advertises and tries to sell the homeowner on their superior pet odor removal system, but that was a joke. The company's claims that even pet odors are not simply masked, but removed so that your pet does not return to the scene of the crime and repeat his dirty deed, were completely false. The first chance my dog got, he sniffed around the carpet and found a familiar scent and he proceeded to take that as his cue to squat on the spot. What a disappointment.

The interaction was very good. The guy who came was very good, sociable and knowledgeable. They took up all the spots I asked them to take care of and the carpet looked really good after wards. The price was a little high, but what are you going to do, it needed to be done. The quality was good. The bad thing was they quoted me a price which went by square footage and then it was an extra $40 for spot treatment and for a spot treatment kit that they left here, but I didn't find that out until they were here.

Alex Blaike, the technician was prompt, professional and courteous. There was some miscommunication with me from a prior phone conversation with a customer service rep. I thought the visit was just an estimate and he was there to perform the work. He agreed to perform just the estimate, but I decided to go ahead with the work. The chairs that he cleaned were badly stained and I was astonished at the results of them and the rest of the work when he was finished. He was not as pleased with how the chairs turned out so he only charged me for two. He went over the pricing with me after it was all finished. I felt that I got a great value for what I received. My only suggestion would be to provide estimates over the phone or include pricing information on the website, even if it is with a disclaimer of inspection of size and scope of job first. I had never had work like this done before, so I had no idea what to expect for price and none was given to me over the phone. That being said, I was very happy with the quality of the work for the price and will definitely recommend the company to others.

Initial cleaning left dirt residue on the carpet, which actually looked worse when completely dried (I gave it a day to dry out) than before it was cleaned. I called immediately and Zerorez was very responsive - they scheduled a techician to come out within two days to fix the problem. The second technician was able to clean off the remaining residue fairly quickly, and I am pleased with the resulting appearance. My only issue is that this technician seemed to want to blame the way the carpet came out the first time on it having been cleaned in the past with a Rug Doctor or some other rental or home cleaner. I told him several times that was absolutely not the case - carpet has always been professionally cleaned - but he didn't seem to believe me. This I found rather annoying, even a bit insulting and certainly not very good customer service. Also the carpet was not in that bad shape to begin with...the first technician made no notes or commentary that there would be any issues getting it completely clean. In submitting this report I have to pick either 'yes' or 'no' as to whether I would use this company again....I wish there were a 'maybe' category because I honestly can't say for sure. They do stand behind their work, and that is a definite plus for me, but right now I think the whole process was less positive than I expected...based on their advertising.

The whole process went smoothly from the initial estimate call to the final bill. Every step was professional. The technician was personable and professional. He described what could be cleaned and what might still look a little different even after cleaned. He got down on the carpet to smell for the "cat box" odor in different areas and used a special pet solution - also letting us know that it might not eliminate the problem completely if the problem was below the carpet fibers. He spent a long time cleaning all the ducts with a rotary system. The results were great. No more allergies problems while in the house, the carpet all looks great. The "cat box" odor was reduced significantly, but not gone, so we will have to replace the carpet in that area and do some under the carpet work. However we knew and were advised that might be the case. The company was very upfront about the pricing and adjusted from the estimate after seeing the home - some things added a few dollars and others they reduced. I also like the Zerorez cleaners and cleaning process. It might be a bit more money than some competitors but worth it to me.

They were incredible and they did a fantastic job. My overall experience with them was outstanding. He was in and out and was polite. I was very impressed. Their price is reasonable.

The crew was very professional, efficient and seemed knowledgeable. I added some areas, but my decision--no pressure from the techs. Some spots came out, some did not however, they were pretty upfront about whether they thought the spots could be removed in most cases. Pet odor (cat) seems mostly resolved, but one area still needs additional treatment. The carpet dried quickly--faster than after other service providers. They were as good as any other carpet cleaner that I have used so would probably hire them again.

I scheduled the call on the phone and they sent an email confirmation and arrived as promised.

Service was great, but I have a dispute with pricing that I'm going to pursue: They give a 10% discount for vacant homes. But I forgot to list a stairway and landing, for which they charged me a la carte, but didn't apply the discount. Hope to get it resolved in the next couple of days. Will update when I do, or don't.

It was excellent. There were some very troublesome spots and the Zerorez technicians were able to remove them.

Steve worked hard and the carpeting looks good. Unfortunately, for the second visit to clean the upstairs units, he needed to bring their large truck which has hoses long enough to go up to the second floor (and, I think, more capacity). The truck runs the whole time, and the noise was awful. We actually had neighbors complain about it. If I were to use them again for the upper floors, I definitely would not schedule it on a weekend when so many people are around.

Provider was prompt in setting up appointment, and carpet cleaning technician was pleasant and timely in completing his work. Did end up cleaning a few 3X5 throw rugs as well for additional fee. I had requested additional fans be brought to speed drying. Larger pieces of furniture were kept in the room and he put them up on drying blocks. The drying time was twice what was expected, even with my additional fans running. There was a damp odor for a while and the carpet "bumped" in a main walkway, which eventually went down. We did not have an allergic reaction to the cleaning agents which we have with other carpet cleaners. I was disappointed though in later finding carpet cleaning residue had been oversprayed on my wooden builtins which I wiped up with pledge. The carpet has a residue type feel to the touch to it ever since the cleaning and treatment of a stain blocker was administered. Overall it was an ok experience. Not great, not terrible.

We had ten rooms of carpeting cleaned and treated with fiber protection. In the past I have used many carpet cleaning services and am usually happy with the results. In this case I was surprised at how the process Zerorez uses to clean carpets not only cleaned the carpets, but beyond cleaning, they also seemed a shade brighter. Even more interesting to me was that they seem to be actually reconditioned! After cleaning, the carpets seemed "fluffier" and so much softer than before. I am delighted and will definitely use Zerorez again!

They do excellent work and they got out little stains that I did not think would come out. The guy that came out was very pleasant and personable. The carpets turned out beautifully.

The off-white berber carpet in our rental unit was so soiled that we were about to rip it out -- it was awful -- really stained and dirty. We decided to try Zerorez because they had a 3-rooms for $169 sale and we had friends who had good results with them. To say that we were pleased is an understatement! The awful carpets now look almost new and the cleaner (all natural!) has a lovely smell. I was so impressed that I hired them on the spot to take a crack at cleaning our front stairs -- where a renter had spilled an entire bottle of olive oil, which 2 other carpet cleaners hadn't been able to remove. The oil spill is gone and the carpet on the stairs looks new. They were professional. on time and worth every cent.

After the carpet dried, we noticed a stain in the dining room that didn't come clean. Zerorez promptly came out, recleaned it and it looks marvelous!
