This is the third time I've used Twin City Garage Door. Everyone -- from office through to technicians -- is friendly, professional and great to work with. They communicate up front what the problem is and what the cost will be. Workmanship is outstanding.

We needed to replace the bottom panel of our garage door. Twin City Garage Door still carried the brand of door we needed, although the style had changed somewhat. They helped us to find the closest match possible, ordered and installed the panel. Even knowing that the panel is not exactly the same I have a hard time seeing the difference now that the door is painted! I appreciated that it was still possible to repair the door without having to entirely replace three doors in order for them to match!

Called for estimate, and salesman arrived at time he said he would. Had many choices to select from and price ranges. We accepted the estimate and set up appointment for work to be done. Installer for garage door was on time, was professional and did a good job. Garage door looks very good.

I called them on a Friday and explained that I am unable to get out of my garage. They thought that I was physically locked in the garage and someone came out right away. He was misunderstood the situation and I was made to feel like I was trying to trick them into coming out sooner. The estimate was about $200 more than I ended up paying. I probably would not use them again based on this experience.

It was on time, done fast, at a reasonable cost.

I was very happy with the service I received. The technician was nice, qualified, and competent and did the work in a timely manner. The overall cost was less than $200 and I thought was very fair for the work done.

The guy who came out first to look at it was great, told us our option of replacing the spring but we knew we needed a new door soon anyway due to previous dents, cracks, etc so we had it all replaced. They were on time, had it done very quickly.

TCGD had installed the Genie door opener in November 2004. It had sporadic problems which got to the point where it would no longer close the garage door. It appeared to be a wiring problem, so I contacted TCGD to come out for a repair. The technician followed the wiring from the unit to the sensors and immediately found the original installer had accidently installed the screw supporting the Saf-T-Beam bracket through the Saf-T-Beam wire and that the wire was broken at that point. He reconnected the wire, put a cap on it to protect it and the job was done. He called the office and said the repair should be FREE because the original install wiring was botched. The office said $82.00, the repairman said FREE and they eventually decided to charge me $41.00, because the wiring had worked for 30 months with a screw through it. I agreed with the repairman, the job was botched at the original install and the severed wire only worked as long as the screw held the wire together.

The service tech called 1/2 before arrival and was right on time. He quickly assessed the damage to my garage door and replaced the spring cable. He performed the work quickly and even though he could have replaced and charged me for new springs, he only did the work needed. Im very pleased.

Very good experience from initial call through installation. TCGD visited our home and then provided a free estimate for the work. When we decided to move forward TCGD, scheduled a follow up appointment convenient to our schedules for final measurement. TCGD installed on the date of our choice and the installer showed up at the time promised. The new 2-sided steel insulated door looks great!

Installer arrived when they said he would. Work took about an hour and a half and was done very well on a very cold day. All the mess was cleaned up afterwards.

I knew my garage door was going to need replacement eventually because the bottom panel had rotted. When a spring broke, I priced about 5 companies for spring repair vs. new door. All said about $150 for the repair, but the door prices ranged from $600-850. I decided to replace the door and went with TCGD as they had the lowest price. Dan was out that day to evaluate it, and scheduled me for their first opening. When they had a slot open a day earlier, they called to see if they could come that day. The installer had to make some adjustments to my beams and door molding, and did so with no extra charge. I did notice a few days later that the door was stopping about 2 inches short of the ground ( hadn't noticed before because I was too excited about the door). I called and they offered to have someone out that day. I asked them to come the following day, which they did, and when I got home it was fixed. Great, fast, friendly service, and the best price by a mile.

A cable broke on my garage door, so it would only close part way. I left a message late Wed night, got a call back Thurs morning, and was scheduled for Friday. The only thing I wish could have changed was that on Thursday they could not give me an estimate of when they would come the next day. I couldn't get work off, so I had to enlist relatives to cover shifts at my house so someone would be there. They called Fri with an estimated time, but when the time came, they called back and had to slide it back another 2 hours. When he got there, the work was done quickly and well, and I thought the price was very fair. I would use them again.

The work was performed in the same day as our call. Our garage door openers are 20+ years old. The person fixed the one opener that wouldn't close, inspected both openers, and adjusted accordingly. Both garage door openers work wonderful!

I had been planning to replace the garage door in January but the spring broke, necessitating it be done quickly. I called and Dan came out within an hour to give me an estimate. The job was done the next day. Dave called and showed up when he said he would, plus completed the job in the time period he estimated. I'm very pleased with their work!

They replaced the gear, adjusted the chain and limits, added tension to the springs and lubed rollers, hinges, bearings and tested the work performed.

The representative provided an estimate of scope of services, and the installation was completed satisfactorily. My only complaint was with regard to establishing a clear understanding of what I wanted installed, and it is my fear that had I not contacted the agent with a few questions, a door inappropriate for my use might have been installed. The error was caught in time, the installation went well, and the final product looks and functions great!

Called Twin Cities Garage Door and talked to Jamie about replacing the two broken garage door springs. He gave me an estimate over the phone and I scheduled an appointment. The next day, I received a phone call from Dusty telling me that he was running on schedule and when I could expect him to arrive. Dusty replaced both springs in 1/2 hour. He also discussed and advised me of the condition of the remaining door hardware and opener. The total cost was the same as the estimate I was given.

This company installed original garage door when home was built. Company was professional, quality was excellent.

I had Twin City Garage door replace 2 wooden garage doors with 2 new steel/insulated doors and opener. The work was done well. The installer was 2 hours late, but it did not matter since I had the day off.

This was my second experience with Twin City Garage Door (first was in March for a broken spring). Both experiences were very positive, the employees that came each time were very efficient and friendly. They were also very accommodating each time in getting to my home to get the repair done in a really timely manner.

Received prompt call back, and set up site visit by Mark H. He was on time for the appointment and was helpful in choosing a replacement door. Work on replacing the door was done on time and there was no mess or any issues at all. Door works well as promised and looks great.

We had the doors installed one week after getting the estimate. The installer came on time, did a great job, and cleaned up all as promised. They had very competitive price. Definitely would hire again (but hope we don't need new garage doors for a while).

They gave me the first appointment time the following the morning after I called. They were very punctual and polite.
