Description of Work: I had placed a delivery order a week prior to the delivery date which was for flowers, chocolates and balloon. I completed this order on-line. The web site did not offer a time of delivery preference rather, it only asked for specification for the recipient's work schedule. I provided all the information and assumed the delivery would arrive sometime in the morning. | |The date of delivery, I called this business a few times to verify the delivery and each time the staff had problems locating the order via the confirmation numbers I was given on the website and subsequent email confirmations. | |The day of the delivery the recipient did not receive the order until 40 minutes prior to the end of their workday. Additionally, the balloon which was ordered and paid for did not arrive at all. | |Upset, I called and spoke to the owner who did not accept responsibility nor apologize for the mistake until I pressed her to do so. She then stated, "I admitted we made a mistake, I don't know what else you want from me". Additionally she kept re-iterating, "many businesses won't admit they've made mistakes and I am willing to admit it". | |I had to request the cost of the balloon be refunded and I additionally requested the delivery charge be reversed as compensation for the mistake. The owner was reluctant to do so initially but eventually did after I told her I was not leaving a good review on Angie's List. | |The owner later left me a phone message indicating they verified and were unfamiliar the website did not have a place to indicate delivery times. | |I will admit the roses were beautiful but I would not use this florist again. I understand mistakes are made however this business in my opinion did not satisfy me in terms of owning up to and compensation for their mistake. As a customer, it made me feel my small order was not worth their while. I would recommend using another florist. |

 + -1 moreBud at Schaaf floral goes above and beyond on a regular basis. The staff designs bouquets that bring a smile to even the most stoic . I needed flowers on Valentines day, but I didn't start this hunt until the day before. I know that Valentines day is one of the busiest days for florists but they was no trouble at all with Schaaf. They were very busy but still made a beautifully arranged bouquet and Bud delivered the flowers himself. The best service and best flowers around. I HIGHLY recommend Schaaf floral to everyone I know.
Description of Work: Schaaf floral took care of me in a pinch and sent a beautiful bouquet at short notice.

 + -1 moreThis is by far the best florist I have worked with. I have received several knock-your-socks-off bouquets that were ordered from Schaaf, so I started using Schaaf for all of my orders, and each recipeint has raved to me about how incredible the arrangements are. Flowers are fresh--last one to two weeks, arrangements are very pretty, and delivery is almost immediate! I ordered flowers around 10 AM on a Wednesday last week and received a "thank you" from the recipient by 2 PM! Plus, they're friendly.
