Plumb Right

Devan was very friendly and professional. Appreciate the companies quick response as job was done one day after calling to schedule. Install took about an hour and a half and everything works as it is supposed to. Was charged a $49 trip charge just to quote. He explained why they itemize this charge but in my opinion if they perform the work at the same time they quote this fee could be waived. Quoted $66 dollar for adding a second valve and then did not need/install but still paid for it? I estimate parts to total less than $40 so fairly high labor rate. Overall service was good but price seemed fairly high for a quick job of connecting a stove.

OUTSTANDING!! There is not enough room to write all we would like to say about Devon and Plumb Right. We highly recommend them to anyone looking for plumbing professionals that do high quality work, have a great attitude in explaining options, and are willing to go the extra mile to make sure to listen tot he customer. Here are the details. It was 6 PM the Sunday before Christmas and the pressure to all of our indoor water has mysteriously shut down. Lot's of cooking, house full of kids back and we were without water. We looked for a referral on Angie's List and liked what we saw about Plumb RIght, who we had never used. We called the number and interrupted Devon's dinner. He said he could schedule us for the next day, and I mentioned we really would like it looked at that night. Over the phone he offered some suggestions to avoid us having to pay for a trip. None of those seemed to be the cause, so Devon said he could be at our house in about 50 minutes (he was on the far side of the Twin Cities). Sure enough he arrived within 5 minutes of when he said he would. He said he would do a quick diagnosis after putting on the shoe covers (something not all folks do) he was able to diagnose the issue within 10 minutes. He gave us our options and estimate which seemed very reasonable (as was his special trip charge for a Sunday evening). He was so polite and professional that we asked him if he could take a look some other items. He pleasantly responded that he would be glad to do so. He spent about 3 hours here that evening fixing/replacing leaking hoses, faucets, garbage disposal and the original issue around the well. In each step of the way he explained options around each situation to make sure he met our needs. In addition to being extremely professional technically, Devon represented Plumb RIght in a very impressive manner. He was polite, engaging, respectful of our home, dealt with our issues with speed and urgency as if it were his own residence. I cannot compare the pricing with others, but based on his willingness to give us options and the corresponding price differences I felt that the work completed and the equipment installed was a much higher quality and worth every penny (when he replaced the hose to the dishwasher he also re-leveled the washer and readjusted the edge molding which was installed improperly when we had bought the new dishwasher some time ago by another provider.) While I don't wish for any more plumbing issues you can be guaranteed that if a problem does come up, we won't need to check Angie's list, we will simply call Plumb Right who we are confident will continue to meet our needs in an exceptional fashion. I called Plumb Right to finish a job started by a handyman. Matthew was punctual, professional and knowledgeable. He completed the work in a timely manner and left the work area clean. Matthew is a good ambassador for the Plumb Right brand!

I found a puddle of water in the cabinet underneath my kitchen sink and couldn?t see where the problem was. I called Plumb Right and they provided service on the same day. The plumber noticed a small drip coming from the faucet of my water filtration system. We agreed that this might have caused the puddle under my sink. He said that he could replace the faucet if necessary but asked me to wait for a couple of days in order to make sure that this was really the problem. As agreed, I paid him a one-time fee of $49 for the service call and he told me to call him if I decided to install a new faucet. Two days later and more water under the sink, I called Plumb Right and had a new faucet installed. With my Angie?s List discount, the cost was $242. I am a very satisfied customer. I received friendly, professional and efficient service for a fair price and I won?t hesitate to contact Plumb Right again.

I discovered water in my basement at 3:30 pm on a Saturday. It was below zero out so I wondered about a burst pipe?? No clue! I immediately looked for emergency plumbers on Angie's List and Plumb Right came up first; I assume this is because of the vast number of good reviews that they have. I called the number and got DJ. I explained my situation and he told me that he had two calls ahead of me but that he would contact someone to see if he could have them handle one of the them. He called back about a minute later and said that he had found someone who could do one of the other calls one call ahead of me and that he would call me when he was on his way. He told me to turn off the water at the main source. He called two hours later (not long for a Saturday, I didn't think) and arrived about 6 pm. He was neat and clean and used booties in the house. He looked everything over in the basement, told me it wasn't a water pipe and then showed me how the main drain backs up when you use water; that drain then backs up the laundry drain. He explained that I could still use the toilet every few hours because it was draining, just slowly. I had done laundry, dishes and used the bathroom all at the same time and it couldn't handle that much because it needed to be cleaned. I would have hired them to do the work but I have Service Plus that covers a main drain cleaning. DJ waited while I called Service Plus to schedule an appointment just to be sure. The total cost was $98 which I considered VERY CHEAP for a plumbing service call on a Saturday afternoon/evening. I would DEFINITELY use this company again

After a late night near basement flooding, I called Plumb Right first thing in the morning and was able to get an appointment just a few hours later. Not long after my initial call, I received a phone call from Matthew (the plumber who was on his way) asking for more details. Matthew arrived exactly when he said he would, assessed the situation and quoted prices depending on whether the job turned out to be a relatively simple floor drain clearing or a more involved main stack cleaning (luckily for me it turned out to be the former). He was very careful not to track snow and slush all over the house and answered all of my questions as he worked and afterwards. Most importantly, he was able to solve my problem! I appreciate the quick response time and service call and Matthew's professionalism.

I called this company based on an ad in the Angies List magazine after the company with whom I had originally made an appointment didn't show up or call. A very nice lady answered the phone and we set up an appointment for the very next day. Matthew showed up on time, wore "booties" to protect the carpet, repaired the noisy toilet, showed me how to shut off the water should I ever need to (not like the older toilets!) and admonished my use of bleach tablets (I know, I know, I shouldn't--it was just easier). This was a pleasant experience for me and I will definitely use Plumb Right again.

DJ arrived on time and was patient with my wife who had two sleeping kids under the age of 3 in the house. He explained the repairs he was going to do, quoted it, and performed the work. He left detailed explanations and his cell # in case me, the husband, had any questions and needed to be walked through it. My only negative feedback is that pipe that leads to the release facet/valve that was installed was angled at about a 15 degree angle toward drywall and then the opening on the faucet was also angled at about a 15 degree angle toward drywall again, so when the valve is turned, it's very difficult to get a bucket in between the drywall and the faucet opening to catch all of the water. Seems a bit of attention to angles would have eliminated this as a problem; however, I'll only ever turn that valve twice a year, so I'll get over it. This is our 3rd project we've had Plumb Right do for us and overall, we are pleased and will use again if needed.

I called and they were able to come out later that day. They gave me a one hour time window and stuck to it. The plumber even called to tell me he was on his way. DJ, the plumber, was courteous and explained what needed to be fixed and how much it would cost. He also gave me an estimate for another project while he was here. He worked quickly and was clean and neat. I will definitely use Plumb Right again in the future and recommend them to others.

This company was such a pleasure to work with. The phone was answered politely and with all the information I needed. The plumber who would actually be doing the work came out for the free estimate. He was knowledgeable, courteous and efficient. I signed up on the spot for their top-of-the line Polaris Water Heater that is EnergyStar rated and uses outside air for combustion. I was a little concerned that on my stucco house that removal of the old exhaust would not look good. To my delight, the company custom-made a covering that was large enough to cover the old area and make it look really professional. Going that extra mile really sets this company apart. Afterwards, the installers cleaned up everything and actually made the room look better than when they started. When they left out the back basement door, they even put back the screen door on its track that had fallen off during a recent windstorm. Rebate forms came to me a couple of weeks later all filled out with instructions on how to submit them. I received excellent service from this company and enthusiastically recommend them.

Attentive exploration of possible reasons for water on the floor. At first we thought it might be a leaking toilet. Consideration given to running a scope down the line. Checked free standing glass paneled shower and discovered a leak in one of the seams. I agreed to do the silicone caulking myself.

I was very impressed with the service provided to me today. DJ arrived right at time and was very friendly. I have 5 pets and he got down on his knees to be friendly to one of the dogs that was barking at his arrival. He explained to me what he was doing and when he was done went through what I needed to do in the future. He answered my many questions and was very knowledgable. DJ went through the prices and explained each one. He also pointed out something he noticed while working that he felt I should be aware of and gave me an idea of what needed to be done to fix it. This is the first plumber I've ever hired and it was a very good experience. Thank you!

Devon showed up at exactly 1PM and I had been told 1-3PM. He was very professional in demeanor and covered his shoes immediately. He looked at my old faucet and the replacement faucet noting I'd made a good choice in the new one. He looked under the sink to see what he had to do. He placed a tarp on the floor to protect it, emptied the cabinet under the sink and removed the old faucet. I have granite countertops so he cleaned the lime deposits from my granite, did a quick polish and put the new faucet in for me. I also asked him to look at 2 toilets to see if they could be repaired. We determined it was best to replace them. He had a regular toilet and a comfort level toilet with him. I wanted 2 comfort level toilets so he had a second one delivered so he could complete both at the same time. He did a great job! There was a ring missing from the water line of one of the toilets from when I'd had travertine installed so he replaced that, too. He let me know one of my toilets was leaking, which I thought as I had a problem with my ceiling under that bathroom. He explained the Diamond program and I signed up for it as it just makes sense! I look forward to a visit next spring to check my plumbing and flush my water heater. I have shared your organization with 5 people at work who stated they too, have been looking for a good plumber. I will continue to recommend Plumb Right and especially, Devon. What a professional!

Came in fixed it, the guys are always friendly, you feel like their your neighbors. They advise what to look for, answer any questions you have about other issues that they are not looking at. they are very clean and efficient. Family run business.

The repairman was very nice and easy to talk to. He made a suggestion that helped save some money and did an excellent job on the sink.

I had Plumb Right do two other jobs for me previously. I didn't think their prices were low but I thought they were reasonable. 2 1/2 years ago I had them install a kitchen sink, faucet, sink strainers, garbage disposal and under the sink drain plumbing and their price was $257.00. This time the sink was already installed and their was no garbage disposal to install and their price was $599.00 plus $49.00 trip charge. They do have a $25.00 off coupon for Angies List members which I used. This reduced the final price to $623.00. I did call and question the increase from $257.00 to $623.00 and I was told their costs have gone up. I'm sure they have but not over 240%. Since I did complain they did send me a check for $49.00 (the trip charge) so the total cost was $574.00 (still very, very high). All the people at Plumb Right are very nice. The service person did a good job and the woman I talked to at their office was very nice but I will never use them again because I cannot afford them. (I personally do not make more than $200 an hour and I cannot afford to pay someone that).

He got it to fit with a pipe. He spent less than 20 minutes here, but it's working now.

Mathew was absolutely great! He did all of the above work by himself. He found the defective piping going into the dryer and saved us from a potential disaster. He was quiet, polite, asked questions as needed, declined help from us even though he was doing a ton of work and we just wanted to help him carry stuff to his truck. He did an amazing job, and an even more amazing job cleaning up. I can't say enough about this guy - I hope that he gets a commendation from his company because we credit him with saving our home and possibly us from a gas leak disaster. As the day went on we had to add in a couple of items (like snaking the drain, adding new piping to the dryer and capping the gas line in the kitchen) - and so we were worried about how much it would add to the bill. He did his best to keep it minimal and we were able to stay within budget. Give this guy a raise, have him train your other guys. He was great!

Plumb Right's plumber came on time, and was very professional. But the cost was enough higher than a competing quote that I couldn't justify paying the price.

The technician did some basic investigation on our water heater and found the leak was really coming from the drain valve fitting and not the bottom of the water heater. Another company did not even investigate and tried to sell me a whole new water heater. Having only owned the house for one year, he confirmed that the water heater was only 2 years old. He tightened up the drain valve and gave me some good advice on adjusting the schedule on my water softener as well. The tech was very helpful and professional. My only issue is that I ultimately paid $250 for less than 30 minutes of work. Based on this I am not sure I would use them again.

PLUMB RIGHT is a great company. The gal I spoke with on the phone was very kind and courteous. She scheduled an appointment for the following day and advised me of the $49 dollar service charge. The plumber, Devon, was very professional and polite. He arrived on-time and got to work. He assessed the problem, gave his recommendation and proceeded to fix the faulty shower handle. Before getting started, he made sure to turn off the water supply. After successfully finishing his work, he made sure to bleed the excess air out of faucets in every room. He was very thorough and efficient. A week later, I received a thank you card and discount card from PLUMB RIGHT in the mail. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with PLUMB RIGHT and look forward to using their services in the future!
