Mitch was great but was unable to clear my drain line. He called in Dave with a camera and he said I needed work done in the front yard and they would dig it up and install a new piece of drain and a sleeve. He said they would use like a "claw" and it cuts away everything. They jetted it and that was all along with a sleeve. $2,000 an hour to do the work. Really high priced plus the $500 for drain cleaning. It took them three hours to do the entire job but they sat in trucks for several hours not doing work. I'm happy with the work that was done, but WAY to expensive for the amount of time it took.

Very professional. When one technician was not suited for the job needed, they quickly got a second out to complete the job.

They were able to quickly adjust to a cancellation and get our service done earlier than scheduled.

The company was prompt and on time for the initial appointment. The parts had to be shipped from another state. The parts didn't arrive as schedule for the second appointment so I had to reschedule.

The quality of work and service is commendable. However, I often feel that with companies that have overhead, that I'm being charged more than the work warrants. Yet I can't knock the work itself.

Ryan did an excellent job. He had to engage St Paul’s water dept and got it done within the hour.

They were prompt in getting us scheduled. They were delayed in arriving for the work, but called us ahead of time to let us know. They gave a detailed estimate of the work to be performed and finished the work in a timely fashion. The guys that came out were very kind.

Great Technicans

I like that they send you a picture of your pro, I think that is a good safety practice especially for the elderly.

I called them because I needed a plumbing/technician to install a part on my Water Boss softener that the company said the average homeowner should be able to install. My regular plumber said it was over his head but Dustin Heins handled it beautifully.

Of the three contractors that came to our house,only Ryan with Hero provided us with cost estimates of the various projects we were seeking to have done. He provided that information the day he visited us. The other two failed to give us the estimates that we requested. Thanks hero Ryan!

Did a great job. they were prompt for the quote...finished our sewer replacement in 1 day.

BEWARE of this company. They sent us a guy that was unlicensed and did not have the proper equipment with him. We contacted Home Advisor to find a plumber and Uptown Plumbing called me to set up an appointment for the following day. We drove quite a distance to my mother's house. She had a sewer drain in the basement not operating and standing water down there. We arrive at the scheduled time and half an hour later when I called them, I was told they have a four hour window to arrive. Three hours later their guy arrived and went down in the basement and came back with a price of $300 which he said would likely solve the problem to clear the drain. We agreed to the price of $300, confident that he would fix the problem. An hour later, he comes up and gives me two additional estimates of $700.00 and $1400.00. That's a lot of money and since he wouldn't even guarantee that after spending $1400.00, the drain problem would be fixed, I told him I wanted time to think about it. Down in the basement there was still standing water, nothing had changed and he was standing in our doorway, expecting his $300 for an hour of worthless work. At that point I started to question his credentials, and he admitted that he is not a licensed plumber, he is an "apprentice". He should have had a camera with him to look down the drain and at the very least a vacuum to suck up the water. He didn't have either. I asked for the number of his boss, totally upset that they would send me an unqualified and unequipped person, that failed to fix or even diagnose the problem and still wanted his $300/hr. I was questioning why they are charging plumber's rates and sending me an unsupervised apprentice? They put me on hold, called their employee and he went outside to take the call. He comes back to the house and makes me a new offer. He would do the cheaper of the two methods (the $700 procedure) for the original quoted price of $300. We decided to let him go ahead and remove the toilet and snake down the drain. My mother (in her 90s) becomes upset at that point and is afraid to leave him alone in the house. Three hours later, he still has no clue what's going on and he calls to say that he wants to return the next day to break up the concrete in the basement. Tired and exhausted at this point, I wrote him a check for $300 just to put an end to this nightmare and I politely told him this is out of the scope of his expertise and I didn't want him to come back. The next day we called Rotor Rooter. They sent two guys, came the same day and on time, fixed the problem, were licensed plumbers with a camera and they worked for two hours in the basement, cleaned up the mess left by Uptown and never had to remove any toilets or tear up the concrete. Total price $305. When I told them the horror story of what Uptown did and was proposing to do, they both smiled knowingly, and said they love doing a job after Uptown has been there.

Did a good clean job of replacing garbage disposal. Cost was a bit higher than expected.
