Sheila was great!  She was professional, dealt with our kids and dogs, and did a great job!  We have been very satisfied.

Overall all it went very well and Sheryl actually came and cleaned which is weird seeing an owner do that which shows how involved she is in her business. No complaints on cleaning and the people working were great with a positive attitude. With great employees and seeing the owner come out sets a great tone.

The only drawback is the price it a bit high compared to others, Remember though you get what you pay for beware of really really low rates from others. They give you a low price but end up taking longer to clean.

y tI contacted the Company through email on this site.  I received a response & a question to which I replied but then heard nothing. So I called them & Sheryl the owner was very apologetic & she was able to get me scheduled right away.  She actually came out & did the cleaning.  The appointment was for 2:15 & I received a call from her around that time explaining that she was just leaving a previous client's house & would be late.  She arrived within 20 minutes of our scheduled time, which was fine. We did a quick walk through my house & she wanted to know what I wanted done in each room.  She then proceeded to clean & was done in 2.5 hours.  She did a great job & she said that if there was anything that wasn't done or if I had problems with anything, I should call her & she would come back out & take care of it.  I was really impressed with her overall.  Really a nice person.  And, the rate she charged was very reasonable.  Everyone else out there charges way too much!

Thoroughly cleaned several rooms in preparation for houseguests. Excellent job, cheerful, wouldn't hesitate to call again! I've personally recommended country maids to friends.

They do full house cleaning - dusting, kitchens, baths, floors and any special projects I might have.

It always goes well.  We are very h****** our bathrooms and they are sparkling when we get home.  It is my favorite day of the week when Sheila has been here.

Extremely well. Service cheerfully provided by Sheila and energetically. Scheduling flexibility appreciated. Only special people really know how to clean. These are special people.

About two years ago I contacted Country Maids to become my regular house cleaner.
Country Maids has been coming to my home once a month to clean for about two years.  They do a terrific job cleaning all of the areas that we have agreed to have them clean.  I am very satisfied with the work that they do and also comfortable having them in my home when I am not here ( which is almost always).
I am very satisfied with the price that I pay and feel that is quite fair for the work that is performed.
I recommend Country Maids.

Poorly. Specific things we pointed out to be cleaned were not (e.g., a bathroom drawer full of hair and gunk from prior owners, not done at all; dust balls still found under sink, gunk on walls not wiped off) Refrigerator shelves and drawers still contained debris and dirt, side seals of refrig full of dirt.   Freezer may not have been cleaned at all, hard to tell. They were asked to wipe down all surfaces including walls, doors, etc., not done. Light fiixtures still had dust, cobwebs..  Very disappointing, because we liked the cleaner and thought she understood all instructions but we only got about half of what we paid for. Owner said she would be at the appointment for a walk-through but did not show up at all, it might have gone better if she had been there. Address given here is not address at which service was "performed" because we hired it done and it didn't get done.

We have been using Country Maids for years.  Overall, we are very pleased.
We like that they are able to substitute another cleaner, or even the owner, if our regular one is unavailable.  They have honored our wishes to be consistent as to our scheduled time slot.
 
There have been a few hiccups along the way, but generally they are more professional in how things are handled then other services we have had in the past.  Also, the cleaners themselves are very presentable and friendly.
I work at home and they are considerate about working around me (and our pets).

I was very impressed both with Doug and with his proposal, but then was contacted by my former cleaning company - who then offered me a comparable "deal" with a known entity.  Since I had been quite pleased with that company for several years, I thought that re-connecting would make the most sense for me...I do want Country Maids to know that I was very happy with my contact with them, and will certainly recommend them to others...

Their service has been very good. They are easy to work with. They are easy to prioritize things that we want done. I would certainly recommend them for consideration.

I have been using their services for a long time. There have been glitches along the way but they resolved them. Their work is consistent.

They are really super. They are really nice to work with. If you ever have a complaint or issue, they will resolve it that same day. They are very responsive.

The service has been great! They are pretty timely in responded to my request. It took about two weeks for them to send someone to do the work.  It is easy to set up regular service. The staff was consistent. I have had the same staff person come each time. She has been friendly and professional. The service has been good. There is not a good way to pay. I always have to follow up and stay on top of the payments.

They do a good job. I like my house cleaner very much. I don't have a lot of experience with other house cleaners but their service is good.

The cleaning provided is of high quality.  They bring their own cleaning equipment and products.  We have alot of marble and they  have worked with us to provide proper cleaning of those surfaces.

I was delighted to find my home clean and orderly when I returned from my vacation.   Destiny did the cleaning, and she always takes such care in draping my throw on my couch, folding towels and pin pointing the toilet paper on the rolls.  My place was really clean with no signs of dust or food particles.  She removed hair from my bathroom floor. The tub and sinks were sparkling white and clean.  I feel lucky to have Destiny and the Country Maids clean my home.

I found Country Maids on Angie's List about 10 months ago and have enjoyed the work approximately once a month since then.  Sheryl, the owner, is easy to communicate with and I have the same cleaner each time.  She is very hard-working, efficient, and accomodating to my requests.

This is the first time I have ever used a cleaning company.  In a nutshell, if you haven't used a cleaning company before I would say this is the company to try.  Doug and Sheryl (the owners) are awesome and very professional!  Wendy (the maid assigned to our house) listens to what I want and works very hard to make sure that I am happy.  Here's what I know for sure....if there is something that you don't like, they will bend over backwords to make sure it's right, if they are going to be even a minute late, they will call and let you know and last but not least, I know that I have found the right cleaning company.  Please, give them a try.  You will not be disappointed!!

This has been a refreshing change from the many team cleaning crew companies I've used in the past.  I'm sure the experience can vary with the particular cleaner that has been assigned to you, but we could not be happier.  It's operated by a very pleasant married couple who seem very focused on customer satisfaction. Their cleaner tells us they are the nicest people she's ever worked for, which tells me they probably have a low turnover rate.

The only trade-off with this system is that the cleaner spends four to five hours in a large home like ours, rather an hour or two with a cleaning team. It's been worth it for us. The quality has been the finest in our 35 years of experience having our home cleaned and has not diminished over time.  They conveniently keep our credit card on file, so we don't even need to write out a check each time.  We've been using them since late last year.  Biggest fear is that our cleaner will move on some day and we'll need to start over with another one.

They seem to provide a wonderful balance between the hassle of finding, training and employing a private individual and the slap dash quality of a cleaning team trying to squeeze in four or five houses in one day.  The cleaners receive W-2 forms, are covered by workman's compensation insurance and the company carries general liability insurance if anything is accidentally damaged.  It's truly the best of both worlds.

It went well: however I would prefer to actually meet the person that cleans my home weekly. I was hoping that it would be arranged. Normally when I come home from work the person has cleaned and gone.

Country Maids has been trustworthy, on-time and met our expectations for a cleaning service. They try to give you the same cleaning person each time, and during the several months we've worked with them we've had just two cleaners who both did a nice job - I love the cleaner we have now, she's wonderful. I was concerned about being able to trust the people coming into our home, but I immediately felt comfortable with Country Maids. We have a small home and I was initially concerned that cleaning companies would over-charge for our small spaces, but Sheryl came to do a personal estimate which is affordable and covers all the bases for us. There have never been issues with over-spending time or up-charging or anything like that! And if I have special things that need doing a particular visit I let Sheryl know and we just add on another hour or two as needed.

Sheryl and Doug (the owners) are very hands-on in running the business and respond to requests and resolve any issues promptly (there have been a couple of errors in billing or scheduling that were easy to fix.) I like that it's a local, family-run company rather than a big national chain. Our cleaner does a great job and pays attention to the details - somehow she does more in a few hours than I could do in a day! I'm often home when she's working and she's very sweet, personable yet totally stays on task. We are on a regular monthly service rotation and will continue to use them and recommend them to others!
