Description of Work: Had an appointment for them to do work for me today. Tried all week to get them to narrow down the EXACT time they were going to come and they CHOSE to ignore me. And because i like to give people the benefit of the doubt, i still held out hop for them to show up today. They CHOSE to NO show/NO CALL. Sorry but that is totally unexceptable. I used them before so this was quite unexpected. Will not use them again.

Description of Work: Cheryl(from County Maids) sent Jena to my friend's residence (I'm her legal guardian). Jena and got lost for a bit but then found it. She went right to work and did a beautiful job. She knew she was going to need a little more time and let us know so we could decide.(My friend had been without a cleaning service for a month and knew it may take longer.) We were so pleased. She picked things up and cleaned every surface. The floors were so much cleaner than the other service. The town-home was spotless when she left. She went beyond our expectations especially in the Kitchen and bathrooms.

 + -1 moreThis did not go well. Melissa arrived late to clean. The house was already pretty clean, but just needed some of the deep cleaning that hadn't been done in a long time (dust over the doors, cleaning floorboards, dusting blinds, etc.) Melissa was there for over four hours. She spent a good deal of time on the blinds and while they were still not entirely clean, we could at least see a difference. We can't figure out what else she did. We had to re-clean the windows and doors, and there were still cobwebs all over the ceilings. Also, I walked around with her and pointed at the cobwebs to show her, but it wasn't worth it to hold her hand while she cleaned.
Description of Work: This was a move-in cleaning. The blinds in all rooms were cleaned, walls washed, general dusting, and removal of cobwebs.

The cleaning was very professional and well done, and she was amenable to the idea of using Eco-friendly cleaning supplies that I would provide. Very easy to re-schedule cleanings, and when the scheduled cleaner was sick, Sheryl came herself.
Description of Work: House cleaning of 850 square foot 2.5 bedroom, 1 bath, hardwood floors, limited furniture and wall hangings.

 + -1 moreA pleasant experience from my initial meeting with Sheryl, the owner of Country Maids, and continuing on to the actual projects with two of her employees who did the cleaning. Sheryl was in our neighborhood with another cleaning job and stopped by several times to see how things were progressing and offer advice. The two young women who did the work were efficient, thorough, and did an excellent job. I will definitely hire them again.
Description of Work: A summer housecleaning of our apartment in our 106 year old triplex which included the usual; cobwebbing, dusting furniture, and doodads, vacuuming, cleaning appliances, washing, moping, scrubbing, wiping finger marks, dusting lots of woodwork in the living room, dining room, hall, kitchen, laundry room/pantry, bathroom, and bedroom. (Saved the office and small bedroom for another time.) In addition there were special projects which included a thorough cleaning of two stairways from the first to third floor of our triplex (we live on the first floor) which were in dire need of help! The back stairway was especially difficult. The stairs are wood with treads and they needed to be vacuumed and then washed by hand.
