 + -1 moreBen and Nick called earlier and offered to perform the duct cleaning earlier in the day and it did me a lot of good to my day schedule. They were prompt, explained the service, what it covered and explained how our home's ventilation and AC worked and how to best make use of the fan while lowering our energy costs. They finished the duct cleaning in an hour or so, and were quick to keep me updated by phone. They know what they do, dependable. Lisa from their office was very responsive in helping us schedule this service.

Description of Work: This was a Big Deal for $99.00 for a complete air duct system cleaning with unlimited vents. They cleaned the dryer vent as well. They came out and they are doing maintenance on my heating unit. They look at both units every time to make sure everything is going well. They have installed a new furnace and air conditioning unit in the past.

 + 1 moreThey arrived on time and were very quick at their work. They drilled holes in the return air ducts where possible to do the appropriate cleaning. The only criticism is that they left a few small metal pieces on the floor where they drilled the holes (not sure if this could be avoided). They were very friendly and were careful with placement of the vacuum hose, etc. The whole job only took about 45 minutes.

 + 0 moreTwin Cities furnace cleaning contacted me within an hour of purchasing the cleaning special to schedule the cleaning. We had just replaced our furnace and a/c and wanted to start off clean. We were able to schedule the cleaning within a week. The service guy showed up pretty much right on time and did and great job cleaning all the service and return ducts. The amount of dust removed was incredible and now the ducts are spic and span.

I just bought this house and he noticed some caked up gunk on my AC unit and he mentioned to make sure to clean it out. He also provided some tips on the use of a Honeywell Electronic Air cleaner and how to care for it. Overall great job!
Description of Work: I bought the $99 special. Cleaned the vents, furnace and ductwork. Furnace was extra at a reduced price of $49.95

 + -1 moreUsed an Angie's List deal. Nick called when he was on his way and arrived 15 minutes later, soon after the start of the 2 hour "window" I'd been given. He took a quick look and then brought up the devices he'd need, spreading a clean dropcloth to contain any mess. Cleaning wqs quick and painless and he was done within 30 minutes. He had several suggestions on the use the fireplace and modifications that I could do (e.g. sticking a piece of insulation in place when not in use siince there is no damper). Feel good about usingmy fireplace now - I'd been uncertain about it since moving in 2 years ago.
Description of Work: Inspected and cleaned chimney. Advised on use of fireplace.

The provider came right on time - no 3 hour window of waiting - and performed the service quickly and cleanly. He provided a drop cloth to cover my floor and was very pleasant during the cleaning. He cleaned up and presented the bill, which was exactly what was quoted.

Description of Work: clean ducts.....decided to use the brush as well as I have never had my ducts cleaned in over 10 years.....I was very happy with the results and he described everything well as far as what he was doing....got ALOT of dust and pet fuzz out of the vents - I can DEFINITELY tell the difference and am so happy to have had this done! he even went out and got all dust, etc out of my central air unit outside and in my furnace and the bottom of my dryer....which I greatly appreciated! they even came out on a Saturday! the only issue I had at all was that I would've liked to have known ahead of time that there might be an add on service that would cost me more so that I could've compared prices with other vendors ahead of time - the add on service was using the brush to get the vents done extra well instead of with just the blower.....maybe there was something listed about that somewhere and I didn't notice it...idk...but I would've liked to have known that ahead of time so i could compare price with other providers.....

 + 1 moreThere was bad weather, if I remember correctly, so they guy was late--but totally understandable. He was nice, professional and efficient. He was careful not to get anything dirty. Cleaned up afterwards. He wrote up the report so I could submit it to the city for a Certificate of Occupancy. Our firebox was already vacuumed out and the chimney was really easy and not at all dirty--so it took him longer to bring his stuff in and out than to do the work.

 + 1 moreEverything went great. Nick was on time and did a great job. Had lots of tips for us on what to look for and what we needed to do watch for regarding future duct cleaning. We talked with our neighbor and when he finished our job she had him check her ducts even though she had them cleaned last year. He found where they had missed cleaning her dryer vent and there had actually been a small fire in the vent that she was unaware of. Great job. We will certainly use them again.
Description of Work: We were moving into a new home and needed all our ducts, furnace and dryer vents cleaned before we had our carpeting cleaned. The prior owners had several dogs and cats so everything was in need of a good cleaning.

 + 0 moreThey arrived earlier than anticipated (which was great). They immediately got started. Two courteous and friendly gents. They called me to give me an update on the service, which prompted me to buy up the rotating brush service. When it comes to quality of the services that they provided, I can only assume and hope it was top notch. I can't get into my ducts to know how well the cleaning was done and unfortunately they don't offer the camera before/after pics. So the risk is that I have to take their word for it. I was able to see the proof of the some of the duct gunk that was cleaned out - that helped. As for the furnace cleaning, it looked good. As for the sanitizing and the a/c check, again, I took their word that it was done and done with the highest level of expertise. I would recommend their services. I do have to also add that their customer service by phone had been great. Very friendly and honest. Thanks TC Furnace.
Description of Work: I hired Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning provided a number of services. I bought an Angie's List deal for unlimited duct cleaning and I bought up the furnace cleaning. The total cost was about $160. After starting the job, we changed the scope and I bought up the rotating brush service in order to do a more thorough cleaning. This included a duct sanitizing and an air conditioner check. That added another $100 to the bill.
