It was really good. I was very pleased. I liked that they had a Saturday appointment.

they were unable to clean out my vents because we had a finished basement and no access to the returns. The Tech went over options that could be done if we wanted to proceed in the future.

Bought the Twin Cities Furnace Duct Cleaning for $99 advertised on Angie's List. The cleaner arrived promptly when scheduled and seemed like a nice guy. This is the first time I've had the ducts cleaned, so perhaps I shouldn't have been surprised, but when I saw the big hole cut into the duct by the furnace, I felt like that should be something they should tell the home owner prior to doing. Apparently it's necessary in order to get the big vacuum hose into. I asked if they use the long air duct whips and brushes, he said they do if it's necessary. After assessing my ducts, he said it would be.. and it would cost an additional $100. :( So.. the $99 deal is more to get them in the door.. He went around and blew air into the return vents (didn't take them off).. to help push the dust towards the vacuum. At the end, he said I'd be contacted periodically to see if I want them cleaned again. And that there was an additional $7.27 fee.. think it was the tax amount for the $99 deal. .. which I thought was included in the $99 as other service providers contacted through Angie's List didn't have additional charges. Overall, I thought it was ok.. I gave the service a "C"/Fair. To receive a "Good" or "Excellent" rating, I thought they could have done a few obvious things to earn that.

The estimate was more than the actual deal, so we decided to not use this company. I did appreciate their honesty and them being up front about the additional charges that would occur.

The service was provided on-time and I was pleased with both the results and the professionalism of the individual doing the work. He first performed the $99 service I had contracted for and then he gave me an option to buy additional service that would more thoroughly clean the entire system. While I am always skeptical of the 'up-sell' many service providers will pitch once they have you scheduled for any service, I was appreciative of how up front the technician was about exactly what was done as part of the $99 service and what additional services would be provided for additional cost. I didn't feel like he was trying to push me to buy the additional services, but rather inform me of my options and let me decide. I did buy the additional service and am very pleaseed with the result.

Did a great job, can now rest assured that when we light a fire this autumn that the house will not fill with smoke!

They were very nice and friendly, but they kept saying I should get more and more work done, and I had to put some vent covers back up myself. I also had to clean up after them.

He spent about 10 minutes and my chimney seems clean. Their customer service was good and there were no issues scheduling with them.
