There was an additional cost to the $99 Big Deal because I added super cleaning predator thing and so it was $212 more, but I knew that one when I talked to him and set up the appointment that I had that option. So, I just ended up buying more than what the coupon was for. My experience with him was good. The guy did a good job and he was very helpful and informative. I was just fine with the price.

Very nice tech, Mike came with a new guy who was also named Mike. I was upsold from the $99 coupon deal to an additional $169.95 for "deeper" cleaning because I was told our ducts were very dirty (they most likely were after a couple remodels). I was also told I should have caps placed on my two fireplace chimney tops to prevent animals and birds from entering for an additional cost of $269.90 (our house has never had chimney caps in 40 years). Plus a $20 service charge. They worked very quickly and left the inside of the house covered with a layer of dust and one cold air vent in the lower level with dust hanging out of it and on the floor beneath it. I do not understand their methodology. They came in, turned the furnace thermostat up high (75-80 degrees) apparently to get the blower going at top speed. They attached a large vacuum device to the furnace. Then, without removing the grills, started blowing high-pressure air into each vent, one at a time, including the hot air vents! I would think you would blow into the cold air vents, but not the hot air vents! Dust was blowing everywhere. I did not watch them use the "predator" tool to do the "deeper" cleaning of the ducts, but I heard a lot of noise. I cannot see where they entered the ducts to do this level of cleaning (no cutouts made). Since they left, we have spent a lot of time dusting the house. The air in our house is no cleaner after they left then before they came - actually it is worse! Obviously we are very disappointed with the quality of work performed and the expense we paid.

They came out within a week after I purchased the Big Deal and there were additional charges to the $99 Big Deal because after they started cleaning and had dust throughout the air, they came back and said that the ducts were very dirty and that they would not be able to get it all just using the normal method and that I would have to upgrade. The service itself was fine. I just kind of felt like it was a little bit of bait and switch. They should really make it clearer that they were likely to be doing an upcharge and I am not saying that I would necessarily need the higher level service, but I was kind in a position where if I did not do it, they would agitate some more dust that I would probably have more dust than before. So, they should have been clearer that this may require an upgrade that is an additional $200. It took them like an hour or so to complete the job, but it was what they quoted. If they are more upfront with their pricing, I probably would use them again in the future.

Nice job. One time, polite and professional. Offered a couple of other options they perform as I am sure they are instructed to do but when I told him I would take care of those items and he did not push me to purchase the additional services at the discounted price when he was there.

It went well. They came out within a week after the deal was purchased. There were additional charges beyond the big deal amount. It was something like $50 for rotor brush cleaning. It seems like there is less dust. So, it seems like it was good. It was quick and they seemed professional.

They did a fantastic job. They were professional and they took their time. I paid more than the big deal price because they did other things and I don’t remember what they were. I would recommend them.

The technician, Dave, called ahead and arrived on time. He was fast and efficient and informative. There was no upselling, which I appreciated. I asked him about duct cleaning and he checked the furnace area for me. He told me the prices of duct cleaning and I will call for an appointment when the weather warms up a bit. Recommend this company.

Excellent customer service and professionalism, I would not go to anyone else. I have an older home with a noisy furnace and TCFC even came back free of charge to inspect my "new noises." I sent my request in an email and received a response immediately, and they scheduled a return visit the next day. The problem was unrelated to the cleaning, but Dave still took care of it for me, by adjusting my humidifier system panel. With such an old home, our ducts were complicated and expansive, but Dave tackled the job efficiently and explained everything he found. I highly recommend them!

Roy showed up within the two-hour window and immediately scoped the layout of our home. He explained what would be done and answered my questions. He was also very patient while my dog checked him out - the hoses were especially interesting. The actual work took about 45 minutes while he went from vent to vent blowing air down the duct, and it was very apparent lots of dirt was traveling out through his vacuum. Based on the amount of dirt that gummed up my furnace filter, this cleaning was long, long overdue, and Roy recommended that we do it every 2-3 years.

They honored the Angie's List deal price for me of $99, we ended up adding additional things which brought the total cost to $260. He was outstanding, very nice person to work with I would recommend him to anyone A + work.

Provider contacted us immediately after purchase of AL Deal. He had a family emergency and was unable to make initial appointment, but let us know with plenty of lead time, under the circumstances. Rescheduling was easy, provider was punctual, personable and thorough. We will use them again.

The service turned out very well. He came out a couple of days after I purchased the Big Deal. There was an extra charge on top of the $99 Big Deal because we had him do some other things. He was a gentleman. He was very respectful. He explained everything very carefully even the extra things that he felt needed to be done and he was not pushy. I thought the price was good. He did a fine work.

They were right on time and they did what they said. I thought it would involve more work than it did, I was surprised.

Overall it was a learning experience and the service was excellent. Brian did a wonderful job with explaining what the process looks like and what we can expect in the future. My home was built in 1958 and apparently had NEVER had the ducts cleaned. We were disgusted by the junk that was pulled out of our ducts and even more disgusted by the fact that my family and I were breathing that junk for the last two years! When he finished with the air ducts, he cleaned the dryer vent and furnace. I even saw a small difference in my energy bill from what it had been the last two winters (my guess is that everything was running kind of sluggish from all of the dirt). If you're considering doing this, DON'T WAIT. From what we learned, it should be done at least every 3-4 years. My entire family has allergies to some extent and have benefitted from us doing this service. Everyone is breathing better, sleeping better, and is healthier because we breathe clean air at home :) I loved it so much I hired Twin Cities Furnace Cleaning to do a second home. Thank you and a job well done.
