Cornerstone just finished my driveway install and I couldn’t be happier with the result and process. Starting with Sarah in the office and then Kyle, with his visit to quote the project, they were friendly, professional and very easy to work with. Kyle did a great job in making suggestions, that we hadn’t even thought about, that improved the project. Communication was excellent thru the driveway install and each team did a great job. They are concrete artists. Pricing was very competitive and they provided excellent value. I enthusiastically recommend them for concrete driveways.

I write this note as I watch yet another one of your teams cleaning their tools and placing the cuts in the freshly poured concrete from yesterday. You have a very nice bunch of guys who have been fun to talk with. I just wanted to send you a note in the hopes that your whole team can be thanked. They have all been wonderful and are an extremely hard working bunch of guys. (Especially in the hot/sunny weather) It’s been so much fun watching every step of the process and I have had countless neighbors stop, ask questions and admire the new driveway as they have driveway envy. Haha Thank you to the whole team for taking such care and putting up with my watchful eye as I genuinely enjoyed learning the whole process. Teams like yours is what makes America great as we all come out of this COVID world. Thank you again for all that your team has done in making our home function and look that much better. From estimate to finish work, Cornerstone Concrete was a pleasure to work with. This was a major project with 193 feet of driveway onto a 40 by 60 foot plaza and then a patio with walkway around a vestibule. All in all, it took over 80 cubic yards of concrete and dozens of gallons of finish spray to complete. John was the first contractor of four to bid. He returned my call immediately and showed up on time to walk through the project. We worked together to modify the project and what he suggested fit in with what I knew from front end research and my own construction experience. After obtaining four estimates, the project specifics evolved and I called John back to modify the original project. He promptly re-estimated the cost and made suggested improvements. The specifications in the contract were detailed and Cornerstone submitted the insurance paperwork and other assurances including a warranty. We set a date for the work which was important because I had a small window of opportunity. The tear-out team showed up on time and each person who worked on the job introduced himself to me. Within a few hours the old concrete patio and walkway were torn out, the excess class 5 moved and some lawn sculpted to sop up runoff better. The project was immediately formed up and rebar put in. The rest of that day and another and all the concrete was laid, finished, sealed and soon after sawn. A crack appeared in a small driveway segment on day four and that segment was removed, tied in and replaced shortly after. A month later the final coat of siloxane was applied. I have never worked with a more competent and energetic crew. There was none of the profanity common to construction firms. Each worker knew exactly what to do, enjoyed the work and no one stood around ever. As they left, each worker shook my hand and thanked me for the job. This is a top notch outfit by any measure. I recommend them without reservation for concrete work.

Job was completed in 1 day with great communication from the company. Lowest bid and with a written warranty.

The project went perfectly. Removed existing asphalt drive, and put in forms with minimum disruption of area. Pour of concrete and sidewalk replacement went well. Final form removal, saw cut expansion joints, and application of black dirt and grass seeding, Lastly they will return roughly 1 month later to apply a concrete sealer. The only problem may have been some of the scheduling due to rain but most was beyond their control.

You won’t find a more professional company to deal with! Very responsive - calls/emails generally answered the same day. Work was done well and in the timeframe promised. Love working with family run businesses and this one is top notch! Our driveway and sidewalk look great!

Cornerstone concrete did excellent work for me and backed up their written guarantee with a replacement driveway when there turned out to be a problem with the original concrete. Family owned business, nice people with integrity and professionalism. What more could you want from a company?

We were very pleased with Cornerstone Concrete. Great communication prior to the project. John came over to give estimate. When we chose his firm, the work was scheduled and he stayed in frequent contact. The day of the work, first the tear out crew came and finished. Then came another crew to set the forms and a third crew that laid the concrete. Each crew was professional, courteous and service minded...and with a good sense of humor! The job started at 7:30 and was completed by noon. Chas came back the next day to cut and seal the driveway. John told me that Cornerstone specializes in only driveways. I think there is value to this approach. We are very pleased with the result and would definitely recommend and use Cornerstone Concrete again.

Their communications were quick, helpful, personable and always collaborative and professional. They provided a detailed estimate and completed the work in very reasonable time frame. It is clear that they take great pride in their product and want to develop their niche specializing in driveways. We have a large driveway and it looks fabulous!!! Also the sidewalks. We have received many compliments. We haven't gone through a Minnesota winter yet but we feel confident in the quality they've provided. Care was provided for our lawn and edging. We had one small clean up concern and it was fully addressed within 12 hours. It went great. The crews were very professional and courteous. They explained everything along the way from removal of our existing driveway to final cleanup. They even added dirt and seeded along the edges where it was dug out. The job took only 3 days and we’re really happy with the results. We’ve gotten numerous compliments on the driveway and patio.

Cornerstone Concrete (Stillwater, MN) is without a doubt one of the most efficient and professional I have ever worked with. The work was performed on schedule and with the minimum amount of inconvenience possible. We are extremely happy with the results. We gathered 4 bids (from Angie's List). Cornerstone fell right about in the middle. What we really liked was that they do ONLY driveways. I would strongly recommend Cornerstone for someone who needs a new concrete driveway.

This was one of the best companies (in any industry!) I have ever worked with. The main reason that I am saying this is that I felt that this family-owned business was trustworthy from the start. Even though their estimate was the lowest bid we received (almost as low as the bid we got from an asphalt outfit), what they offered blew everyone else out of the water. You could tell right away that this company focuses on quality, not only making things look good but also making sure that things don't go wrong in the future, like cracks or problems with the concrete. They put in a lot of rebar and add something to the cement so that it minimizes small cracks, and they cut their expansion joints to minimize big cracks. On top of that, they back up what they do with what I discovered to be the very best warranty around. If I could rate this company A+++, I would because they did everything they promised at the lowest cost to me. It's a no-brainer to pick a company that provides the best quality service AND also the best price! Our driveway posed some complications and was not an easy driveway to install. Just look at the photos and you'll see that this was not a simple pour. Yet, Cornerstone really pulled it off and we ended up with something of lasting beauty! It really seemed like they created a work of art! If you are interested in a new concrete driveway, at the very least you should contact this company for a bid and see how they compare to your other bids. But be sure you are comparing apples to apples because you will find Cornerstone provides better quality for a fantastic price. If you are after VALUE, then I think you will agree with me that this company offers what they promise. One last thing ... I like to work with companies that are honest, dependable, competent, and quality-oriented. Based on the results I've seen, I can say that Cornerstone offered what I was looking for.

The owner very personable and knowledgeable. They did a beautiful job on the driveway! My husband thought the owner would come back and supervise, but he didn't and my husband wasn't happy with that.
