Description of Work: Krech transformed the front of our house. They had detailed design services that allowed us to see a true to life picture of what the changes would look like and enabled us to pick and choose the features. We had a small problem with the brick pattern and they fixed it immediately. They were awesome!

Description of Work: Replaced two windows and a patio door. They came out and measured my windows and door and placed the order for them. Four weeks later they came out and installed them. When they measured we said we would discuss what to do with the security system that was currently on the patio door. When they installed there was not such discussion - they just snipped the wire and didn't say anything to me. I found out when I could no longer set my security system. The fixed the rot around one of my windows (I was not surprised by this) and when they left, a piece of the shakes fell off. My sales contact was very slow in responding to me at every point in the process. They still need to come out and stain the inside of the windows and paint the pieces they replaced on the outside where the rot was - it's an eye sore. It has now been three months and I am still waiting. I'm told they only have one person doing all of their staining - and if they have a big job elsewhere I will just keep getting delayed. As far as quality, I can only comment on the quality of the window itself because I have no idea what's going to happen when they finally finish my job. The window itself is amazing, so I'm giving it a B in anticipation of the workmanship.

Description of Work: They provided a bid to repair some siding that had blown off during a storm and to have eaves installed. They were pleasant, friendly. Didn't use them as I had another bid for less

Description of Work: We had all the cedar taken off the front of the house, and replaced with hardy board. then they whole house repainted. They helped us create a new design for the front of our house and delivered what was expected.

Description of Work: We had storm damage last summer. Krech replaced our entire roof and partial siding and seven windows. There was some delay early on, but that was due to the manufacturing of the windows. Once the windows were received everything was done in a timely fashion and we were very pleased with the work that was done. The window installers were especially good. All window treatments were taken down and replaced by them. We have however, run into issues with the Building Inspection. There is a question about something on the roof and we have been trying to resolve that but Krech has not responded. We have had the building permit hanging on our window for nearly 8 months. If it were not for that outstanding issue I would have given them an A.

Description of Work: Krech special ordered a small amount of siding to match existing siding. I had called a couple other companies and they didn't bother to call back. Krech was willing to do the work - it took a little longer to get installed. I don't currently have the past paperwork, so I don't have the cost or exact date, but it was in the fall of of 2012.

Description of Work: I requested an estimate. They called back and said they would come by and look at it. Never heard back from them. Angie's List appears to be only 50% effective in screening bad contractors. I think a coin flip is less expensive.

Description of Work: We had wind damage to an eve. Krech gave us an estimate for repair, matched the siding very well and installed. It was a small job, but done very well. The area is nearly a perfect match and looks great.

Description of Work: They came and looked at a wet spot on our cieling & then went on the roof to figure out where the water was coming in. They gave us an estimate and were able to come out the next day to fix the roof.

Description of Work: Krech bid on a roof tear off & replace for our house. They were very thorough with inspecting our roof. They documented points of concern in a report with pictures. They included other exterior areas that may need some work done & provided a proposal that went beyond just doing the roof. However, they also were the most expensive comparing just the roof part of their bid. Ultimately I picked another roofer that also had Master Elite status with the shingle manufacturer because they included some upgrades, but still came in at a lower price. I would have Krech quote again on future projects I want done.
