Larry walked around, checking for ground wasps and ants. He got to work immediately and when he was finished, he walked us around the yard to show us exactly what he had done, the materials he had used and WHY he had used them. We felt Larry took a lot of time going over the procedures with us-even suggesting products we could purchase on our own if the problem occurred again. I'm happy to report that his treatment was effective and we didn't need to do anything else.

He called me right after I purchased it and was out the next day. He was great. He is actually going to come back out in the spring to finish the job.

I found West Side Pest Solutions as a big deal on Angie's List. We had been having trouble with mice in the basement for several years and I was ready to call someone to deal with the problem when I saw the ad. I expected to have to wait several weeks to have an appointment scheduled but Larry, the owner, picked up the phone the day I purchased the deal and scheduled the visit 2 days later. Larry arrived promptly at the time scheduled. He was really nice and easy to talk to but more than that he knew what he was doing. He crawled under my deck, and found the hole the mice were using to enter the house, blocked the hole, and even set mouse traps to catch those that were already inside. I am really happy to have found Larry and West Side Pest Solutions and will recommend him to anyone looking for professional and personable pet control services. I bought an Angie's List coupon ($75) for Westside in the spring. Beforehand, I called Larry Rufledt and asked him if he could get rid of my box elder bugs. He said that he could spray in the fall when they congregate on the sunny side of the house. I called him when this happened and he came out the same day. He sprayed, avoiding my freshly-cleaned windows, and the bugs have been dying by the hundreds. At the same time, he also sprayed around some of my trees where there are carpenter ants. I'm expecting lots fewer of them in my house over the winter this year as we have never sprayed for them before. Larry is personable and helpful and I will definitely hire him again.

He checked everywhere thoroughly and the spraying controlled the pests throughout the summer.

Upon arrival on the first visit, Larry walked the entire yard with me and was very insightful with lots of advice for managing wasps and other pests. He found several hidden wasp nests and then treated those areas.

Was having some roofing work done and a yellow jackets nest was discovered. Purchased a coupon for them off of Angie's List and they where able to come out that same day and spray the nest. They took the time to explain the product that they were using and how it would work. Very professional and will definitely use them again the need arises.

Larry is professional, prompt and a pleasure to work with, unlike the mice.

Great guy! Very helpful and answered all of my questions. I am still working with him and so far I would reccommend him to anybody. Seems to know his stuff. Larry was very flexible with his schedule and came out of his way to meet with me.

We first had West Side Pest Solutions out to treat a wasp problem on our deck. That went well, so when we sited carpenter ants later in the summer we knew who to call. Always effective and affordable.

Father and son team, Larry and Larry Jr. as I recall, were prompt, courteous and pleasant. Called Friday afternoon and they came out Saturday morning. At first it didn't seem like the product they applied did anything, but I think it just took a few days to take effect. I would use them again.

I noticed an increase in tiny ants around the kitchen sink. Local treatment (spraying under the sink) did not sem to alieviate my problems so I contacted Wes Sid Pest Solutions (taking advantage of a coupon program). The owner showed up on time and allowed me to explain my ant issue and concerns. He inquired about other areas in addition to the kitchen. He then sprayed around the foundation and then checked inside my attached garage and a bathroom window where he recognized ant activity that I could not see. He sprayed these additional areas and within 48 hours there were no more ants outside and soon thereafter the inside ants also vanished. Of particular note was the carpenter ant infestation he located beside my garage door. Two years previously I had noticed their activity and sprayed them with an over the counter remedy. I was astonished to see the dead ant bodies a couple of days after the professional spray application. Through today, September 11th, I have seen no more ants inside.

Fabulous - now that the mice are thwarted in getting in to my home. Within 1 day another family member had secured their services for their home. Great company and would call them again

The deal for pest removal came at a good time. I had just discovered mice in the house, so I bought the deal and scheduled an inspection. After he was done and the traps caught the remaining mice, things have been mouse free.

My wife and I just moved into our home from out of state, and in a couple weeks discovered that several different insects were getting into our home. I called the next morning from work, and spoke with Larry. He was very friendly, and knew exactly which insects I was talking about from just a very rough description. He even agreed to come out later that same afternoon! Larry was very friendly, and walked around the home with me to see the main problem areas. He also walked around with an extended duster to get cobwebs out of the house and garage ceilings. He then sprayed inside and out, and the whole process took less than 90 minutes. It has been a month since the service, and we have had no problems since! We would definitely recommend this company.

Went great! I called and they responded immediately and set up a very quick appointment time. The young man who did the work was very professional and did a thorough job. My only disappointment was that they didn't take away the nests they knocked down and the dog got at them before I noticed. Not a big deal but it would have been nice to have them dispose of the nests.

I could not be more pleased with our expierience with this company. We had an underground yellow jacket nest at the entry of our garage door and patio. I had been stung twice and have apparently become allergic - the dog got it once. My husband tried to remedy it with at least 3 cans of bee spray over a weeks time and flooding with a garden hose. Didn't even make a dent. When Larry (owners son) peered into the patio brick crack where they were coming and going, he saw right away why we were unsuccessful. They were going into the block foundation of our garage - complete different direction than we had expected. No way could we have made any success in their removal. He was so knowledgeable and professional. Knew just what to do. He treated the entry crack area with a special liquid chemical. Checked the rest of the house and property for any other nests we didn't know about and removed some high up paper wasp nests. They were gone within 24 hours just like he said they would be. I am now able to sit in my patio area again - very thankful for this service. I will definitely be calling on West Side Pest Solutions for any future pest control needs. Very impressed start to finish.

The person providing the service called immediately after treating the furniture (we were not at the house when he treated the furniture). He was very friendly and professional. As mentioned earlier, I was impressed with how quickly they responded to our message and very prompt in getting out to our home.

It went very well. He was responsible, did a great job, was knowledgeable.

I received a "deal" from Angie's List for removal of wasps and within the hour after I purchased it they had called and came out immediately and removed our wasp nest as I am really allergic to bees. Very knowledgeable and it was great that they were able to come the same day and take care of the situation. Would definitely recommend and will use again.
