They were timely, polite, and the repair was fast.

I am very pleased. The person was on time and did the job very quickly. He then proceeded to lubricate the door and adjacent door which was much appreciated. He was neat, clean and quick. I will certainly call them again. I have no idea what others charge but am pleased with price.

Everything went without a significant hitch. I paid with a charge card, left the garage door unlocked, and the service person replaced the springs while we were out.

We hadn't heard anything from Metro for 2 weeks, so I decided to call them and follow up myself. Since I thought this company had such a sterling reputation, I was puzzled as to why I hadn't been contacted. When I called, I was told the salesman was no longer there. After a number of minutes on hold, they found our order and said it would be a week before it would arrive. I inquired as to the cost and they had removed the $100 that the salesman promised, and said the total price was what they would have to go with. I feel I've been duped with a bait and switch tactic, and Metro's fix to their own service fumble was to deny their own salesman had promised the $100 off. I'm not interested in doing business with a company that I feel is dishonest in their dealings. I would caution anyone to beware of what's told you, because in my experience, it's not necessarily what Metro will honor.

The installer was punctual, professional, and finished the job in about an hour. He suggested putting a remote keypad on the outside of the garage which turned out to be a great idea. He didn't have the proper size weather strip but promised to come out the following day, which he did. I waited to report because I wanted to see how well the opener would handle in weather extremes. This company did a great job, and I will use them again in the future.

They do fast work. I called on a Thursday for a Friday appointment. They came during hours as told (8-12). They were pleasant workmen with a great attitude. They also did professional work. The work was done in less than an hour, and they did not charge a travel fee.

It was done quickly, done right, and for a good price. I don't think you can ask for more than that.

WE FOUND OUT THAT A LOT OF OUR GARAGE DOOR INSTALLATION WAS BEEN DONE INCORRECTLY. THEY DOUBLE CHECKED EVERYTHING. THE WORK WAS TIMELY. THERE WAS A $40 CHARGE TO COME OUT. I WAS SURPRISED AT HOW EXCELLENT THE SERVICE WAS. THE PRICE WAS VERY AGREEABLE, AND OUR DOOR WAS FINALLY FIXED.

THEY CREDITED US $51.00 WHEN THEY HAD TO COME BACK OUT. THE GARAGE DOOR BROKE THE NEXT DAY. THEY CAME BACK AND FIXED IT. THIS WAS DECEMBER. NOW IT IS DOING THE SAME THING, WE HAVE TO MANUALLY LIFT IT TO USE IT. I HAVE NOT CALLED ANYONE BACK YET. MY HUSBAND HAD A REALLY HARD TIME WITH THE RECEPTIONIST GETTING SOME KIND OF ANSWER BACK TO US.

EXCELLENT! THEY CAME OUT WITHIN THE HOUR ON A SATURDAY. THE SERVICEMAN EXPLAINED IN DETAIL WHAT HE WAS DOING, WHY HE WAS DOING IT, AND EXPLAINED THINGS I NEEDED TO KNOW ABOUT THE NEW PRODUCT.

Excellent service. Our call answered promptly, and the repair service was scheduled for the next morning between 8 and noon. He arrived well before 10 am. We thought we might need an additional repair, but after he replaced the springs and looked at the garage door function, he said no further repairs were needed.

We felt that he was very honest. He didn't try to sell us a new door, which we though we needed. He did the repair work, and his price was very reasonable. We would definitely use this company again and refer anyone needing this type of work to them.

HIRED COMPANY TO INSTALL GARAGE DOOR. THEY TOLD ME IT WOULD BE A WEEK. AFTER ONE WEEK I HAD NO DOOR AND THEY SAID IT WOULD BE ANOTHER 2 WEEKS. I HIRED ANOTHER COMPANY WHO COULD DO IT FOR $100 CHEAPER AND HAVE IT INSTALLED THIS WEEK. THE GUY FROM METRO DIDN'T TAKE HIS SHOES OFF WHEN HE GAVE THE ESTIMATE AS WELL.

Repairman was on time, polite, efficient, and did a thorough job.

They were on time, came on very short notice, were here within 1 hour of my call, and we needed them right away, as we were leaving town. He gave me options, was up front about cost, was direct, and did the work well, in a short period of time.

I was very happy with Ridge Doors. They were available, responsive, and they did a very good job on the installation. The one thing they did not do was adjust the force on the door after installation, a minor detail. I would use them again.

Good experience. Everything went smoothly. Also disposed of old opener.

Horrible Service! Charged twice because work not done properly the first time! My garage door would not open. I hired Metro to come out and get the door to open. The first time Metro came out they repaired a spring and a cable, but never tried (I guess) to put up the door -- because when I got home, the door still would not open. I called them and told them to come back and do what they were hired to do, get the door to open. They returned and greased the tracks and the door then would open. However, they charged me a travel/trip fee of $55 to return and grease the tracks. They were hired to get the door to open the first time around. I had told them to do whatever was necessary to get the door to open. Had they grease the tracks the first time they were out, I would not have to have paid the second trip charge. When I complained, they ignored me and would not return my calls. Beware of this company!

THEY CAME OUT TO LOOK AT MY GARAGE DOOR. I MADE TWO APPOINTMENTS AND THEY DID NOT SHOW UP DURING THE TIME THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THE FIRST TIME I WAS HERE ALL DAY AND THEY DID NOT SHOW UP OR CALL. I LEFT AT THE END OF THE APPOINTED 'WINDOW' OF TIME TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT I HAD. THEY LEFT A NOTE FOR ME THAT I WAS NOT THERE FOR THE APPOINTMENT, AND THEY BILLED ME $72 FOR THE SUPPOSED MISSED APPOINTMENT. THE SECOND TIME I HAD MADE AN APPOINTMENT BETWEEN 9-12. I EVEN CALLED IN THE MORNING OF THE APPOINTMENT AND THEY GUY SAID BETWEEN 10-2. I SAID NO, IT WAS BETWEEN 9-12 ORIGINALLY AND I HAD MADE A DOCTOR APPOINTMENT. I LEFT AT 12:00 FOR MY APPOINTMENT AND RECEIVED A MESSAGE AT 2:02 (A VERY RUDE MESSAGE) SAYING THAT I MISSED THE APPOINTMENT AND THAT I SHOULD NOT THEM AGAIN FOR AN APPOINTMENT. THEY AGAIN BILLED ME $72 FOR NOT BEING THERE. I WAS VERY DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE I GOT THEIR NAME FROM ANGIE'S LIST AND RECEIVED THIS SERVICE. THEY HAVE DONE NOTHING AND I DO NOT INTEND TO PAY THE BILLS.

They were fast, neat and professional. Our garage door isn't in the best shape, but they did a nice job getting it working again. They came out the day after I called. I was very pleased with the work.

Excellent job. Steve, the service man, fixed the springs and told us we needed the gears on the opener repaired as well. We were fortunate to be able to get ''two repairs'' done at the same time, because that way it saved some money. The Angie's List coupon for $20 off on the spring replacements helped as well.

First tech came out, told me they don't put the new spring systems on doors like mine and did not recommend them unless I was getting a new door. Told me my spring broke and needed to replace it. Never mentioned safety wires or installing them with the new springs. Finished quickly, spent more time handing flyers out up and down alley than the work on my door. The next day, the door opened crooked again, he didn't install them properly. Called the company back to come and fix it. Told me they had to first see if it was something I DID! New tech came out, offered a better system, same system the first tech said he could not do on my door. Kevin was wonderful, but the first tech was horrible. The company never offered any rebate or discount what so ever being I just had 2 new springs put in a few days prior. Paid $200.00 for nothing the first day, second day I got a better system at full price, they took the new springs from the day prior, not happy with this company, will not hire again

I was able to get my garage door repaired the same day I called. The repairman knew immediately what the problem was and how to fix it. He worked without complaint on a freezing cold day and didn't try to sell me a new opener unnecessarily.

The work was performed quickly and the opener operated adequately. The price did not include a keyless entry which the salesman should have mentioned. I have a keyless entry but the installer would not reprogram it and wanted to sell me a new one. I thought that was poor service.

I was happy he didn't charge me for the call, because the door was working. I offered to pay something, since they did come out, but they declined. Will consider the estimate to replace the door.
