Came out about two hours later, very good, just one guy, he explained it all, told us some preventative measures, he was nice, and the price was great. I would definitely use them again, although I hope I don't have to!

I called up Metro Garage Door in the evening and a very courteous after-hours answering service took down the message. Next morning, I got a call from Metro Garage Doors that they'll be sending their man at a specific time. The person arrived on time and immediately started working. It turned out that both torsion springs and the hinge carriage were broken. They explained the problem to me, told me how much it would cost to fix before starting the work. I okayed the work and the person completed work within 30 minutes. I got angie's list discount and am very satisfied with Metro Garage Doors service.

Sales technician was efficient, professional, friendly, & did a very tidy & complete replacement (including all wires to sensors etc).

Bob did a great job; very thorough. Worked with our tight space and made sure everything was adjusted well. Even adjusted parts on our old door to make more space for opening the trunks of our cars. Recommended that we install new support bars on the doors because the frames was starting to crack. Installed those to for an extra $15 each. Explained how to use the new opener. They have garage door openers installed at the office. I went and tried them out for noise level before I ordered. The office isn't the best organized, but the owners there were very helpful.

My springs broke in the morning, I called them after lunch, they came at 3 pm and fixed it pronto! They didn't try to upsell or cross-sell anything. The guy told me that my door was just fine and didn't need to do change the door. I would definitely use them again!

Metro was at our house within three hours after we called. They arrived early in their service window and were very professional.

We were very happy with the result and the price. Careful with their weekend emergency operators, though. The quote I got for them to come out on Saturday was over $600 just in trip charges, then plus minimum labor and parts. I'm not sure if that was correct or if the operator (who doesn't work directly for Metro) was confused. Needless to say, I had them come out on Monday.

They were very responsive when I called during off hours and came when they said they would, did the work and my garage doors were fixed quickly. No problems.

A no-hassle experience. Prompt response, estimate, & scheduling when the door arrived. Installer came when scheduled and hauled away the debris when finished.

They did the work relatively quickly and neatly. The salesperson arrived on time and was knowledgeable, but I had to ask a lot of questions to understand the differences in the grades of doors available. He also incorrectly told us when the door would be ready to install (didn't tell us our door was a special order and would take 1 week longer to get in stock). The rest of the people we dealt with at the company were great, responsive, and clear. The door looks great and even has a seal around the outside to prevent air from getting in.

The tech arrived on time and very quickly had my garage door back in working order. He suggested WD-40'ing the hinges and rollers a few times a year on top of fixing the door. I'm not sure how their prices are relative to other companies, but I think $155 for about 45 minutes of work (and parts) seems pretty reasonable.

They job was done quickly and they did a good job. However, I feel they did have some issues with their lack of communication. I didn't realize that there would be an 85 dollar service charge no matter what they did. They weren't very up front about that. They were not very willing to answer my questions regarding charges or the job in general. It was not a bad experience overall. I simply would have appreciated more communication and better customer service.

Excellent. They were able to come the next morning - early no less! The technician was very polite, efficient and effective.

They showed up on time, completed the work quickly, & also ensured that the existing bolts were on correctly. I had recently purchased the house & I really appreciated this extra!

Job 1: Metro answered a lot of questions about our garage door system which we inherited with the house. They were very professional and courteous. We would call them again. Job 2: Although I wish the service windows were a bit more specific than noon to 4pm, the technician arrived in the promised service window, and then quickly and professionally replaced the broken springs with new ones and was gone in about 30 minutes.

Fast, friendly, helpful, thorough. They came in a timely manner did the work quickly and went the extra mile to reset the door opener too.

I called because the tension spring broke, and they said that they could have someone out that afternoon, which was wonderful. The service person was great, pleasant, and he cleaned up everything when done. He explained what he did and was completed in a timely manner. I would use their service again and recommend to others.

The service was excellent! They installed the opener the same day I called. They were extremely polite. They company I had called earlier (not from Angie's list) had said we needed all new garage doors and springs and quoted more than $2,000! What a welcome change Metro was.

It was very well done in all categories. They came right out and fixed it! No fuss.

Our initial experience with Metro was satisfactory. The technician was friendly, arrived quickly and completed the work in little time. The pricing was reasonable (more so with the Angie's List coupon). When we experienced issues one week later and called back to get assistance, the operator would not dispatch a tech to look at the work without a significant charge although the issue is most likely related to the recent work performed by Metro. Upon request, she would not connect us with a supervisor or anyone else in the company with greater authority. At this point, we are incredibly frustrated with Metro's lack of customer service, unwillingness to admit they may have caused additional damage to our garage door and unwillingness to reach a mutually beneficial resolution. It seems to me that they are simply trying to charge us for additional repairs that they should review at no initial cost to us.

Our garage door cable snapped at 3 pm. on a Friday. This was the only company that would come out on a Saturday and not charge an extra fee. When Steve arrived, he told us that our spring was broken as well, and fixed the door within 1/2 an hour, oiling both garage doors. He also said that he adjusted the chain as it was pulling the door too far back. He was pleasant, professional and explained what was needed. After finishing, he explained what he did. I called many places and the price seemed reasonable. All places I called quoted a price for cables... none mentioned that a new spring might be needed.

He was responsive and straightforward in addressing our issue. I have marked ''price'' as an A; however, I have not done any research on pricing so am relying on the info he supplied to us. We were very pleased with the overall service and how quickly we were able to get this problem resolved.

I called on a Sunday night after springs broke. Answering service was very professional and knowledgeable. They even set up the service appt. for first thing Monday morning. Metro called before their arrival. Tom, the repair tech, was excellent. He has over 25 years experience. He was very knowledgeable and answered all questions. I will definitely use Metro Garage Door for all future repairs. This is a top notch company with very fair pricing.
