Service was exceptional. I called late Monday afternoon, and they set up an appointment for the next day. (We did not need emergency service.) They gave a short time frame (9am to noon) and called before they came over. Kevin was very polite and explained our new door opener and keyless remote so we knew how everything worked. He went above and beyond by informing us about the frequency changes with garage door openers and homeland security. We are very happy with the products they provided. Since we received such excellent service (they even provide live customer service agents 24 hours a day, 7 days a week), we will certainly use them again if we need anything related to our garage door. They are highly recommended!

Ridge Door responded quickly to my first phone call and scheduled a free estimate within 48 hours of my call. The man who provided the estimate was prompt, pleasant, and clear about the products and charges. It's worth noting that their estimate was over $200 less than a major competitor's for installation of the exact same products. I decided, not surprisingly, to go with Ridge Door for the work, and they were able to do it within a week. The workers were extremely nice and professional, did a terrific job, and left a clean workplace. They also did a great job servicing the old door, which is not in the best shape and wasn't easy to work on. I have absolutely no complaints, and I recommend Ridge Door very highly.

He explained my options: replace old cable, convert to torsion system, or replace entire door. Costs and benefits were carefully and clearly explained. I chose option #2, and am very happy with it. Door opens smoothly and is safer than before. Punctual, professional, quick service.

Great price. Beat out 3 other bids by over $100. Had some wait for actual installation, but nothing that was beyond normal. Overall, great experience.

I called Metro Garage Door at 9:15 on a Saturday morning and they had a service man to my house by 10:30 to fix the door. He looked at the door and realized that a new opener needed to be installed, but was out of the openers on his truck. A second repairman was at my house by 1:00 to start the installation. All work was completed by 2:15 and the garage door is working fine. Polite service and nice that they have repair crews available on Saturdays. Would be willing to call them again for any other repair.

Work was completed as promised. They missed moving the security system switch from the old door to the new one. I called and explained that and I was told they would see if they still had the old door, but I never heard back from them. I purchased and installed a new switch.

The service was fast, professional and we were never pressured to buy additional services.

I called and they were able to send someone out the same day. The technician was pleasant and the work was completed quickly. The price seemed pretty steep considering most similar 1.5 hp garage door openers run in the $150-$180 range so the labor must have been most of the cost. I would have done the work myself but I needed it done ASAP so I guess it was worth it. It would have been nice to have an itemized bill.

They came on the same day that I called for service, were within the promised time, were very polite and quick, provided training so that I could possibly clear and reprogram the opener by myself in the future if the need arises.

Good communication by Jennifer. The installer did a good job. I did have an issue with my side door not closing. Because they didn't charge me to stabilize the wall in the first place, they wouldn't come and fix it. I took care of it myself.

The service representative arrived promptly; was polite; answered my many additional questions about garage doors and openers with friendly patience; and fixed the problem quickly.

I called on a Sunday and expected a voice mail; instead, a live person answered. Scheduled my appointment for the next day. Repair person was great. Door was fixed in no time at all. We used the Angie's List coupon. We thought our weather seal needed replacing too. Repair person fixed it rather than replacing it in a matter of a minute with no extra charge. We will call them again without hesitation if we need either of our garage doors replaced.

Came home at 9:00 pm on a Saturday night to a broken garage door. Their Sunday emergency pricing was too expensive so we went with a different company who didn't charge more for Sunday service. I believe we paid at least $100 more at the other company than we would have at Metro during their regular hours, but since a car was stuck in the garage and we had appointments on Monday, we went with the other company. I'd definitely choose Metro during regularly scheduled hours. The scheduling operators were very helpful and polite, even when I called and cancelled our Monday appointment.

Responded quickly and did a good job.

The tech knew at once what was wrong and made a simple adjustment to fix the problem. There was a $75 dollar minimum fee, which seems high for five minutes of work.

A new installation of a garage door opener wasn't working. Called and Metro said they could have someone out that afternoon. Kevin was an hour early and promptly discovered that there was a broken spring. He had the matter fixed within an hour at the same time fixing minor things with a self-installed opener. Would call Metro first thing next time. A+ service.

Very good. They came when they said they would and finished the job in a timely manner and I got exactly what I wanted.

BECAUSE MY GARAGE DOOR WAS JAMMED I COULDN'T USE MY CAR AND I WAS A BIT PANICKY SERVICE MAN SHOWED ME THE PROBLEM AREA AND ASSURED ME THAT MY TRYING TO FIX THE DOOR DIDN'T CAUSE BROKEN CABLE- IT WAS RUSTED OUT. HE ALSO GOT DOOR REALIGNED AND BACK ON TRACK. ALL IN A 1/2 HOUR.

Jon, the technician, was so prompt that he was a few minutes early, very polite, and very helpful. He left a sticker with the number to call if I need further help (which I will do should the need arise). He also acceded to my request to perform (at my expense) a similar service for the garage door of a friend and neighbor. It was a good thing, too; her opener had a loose chain.

They arrived on time and made repairs very quickly. The repair man was polite, answered my questions, and finished the job very quickly.

The repairman arrived promptly the same day that I called, had the necessary replacment parts, was courteous, and did the work relatively quickly.

Our house was struck by lightning and we have a long list of people to contact to fix the damage. These guys were the best of all the recent parade of service guys we've had to see. The lightning shorted out all the electronics in our garage. Since our garage doors didn't work we called for service. Within 30 minutes we had someone at our house and he had everything fixed in very short order. Highly professional, courteous, and helpful in making suggestions on garage doors in the future. If I ever have any issues with garage doors again, these are the guys I'm going to call. Nobody is better!

Outstanding! I had misunderstood the amount of lead time they needed to order my new doors, and I was in a rush to get the new doors installed. They went out of their way to accommodate me, and the doors were installed on the very day I was hoping for. They cleaned up EVERYTHING beautifully and hauled away all the old stuff. A++. Oh, and the price was exactly as I had been quoted on the phone.

I had a broken spring replaced in February by Metro Garage Door. When the weather warmed up the door began squealing something awful every time it opened or shut. I assumed it was, because the door wasn't level (my garage floor needs to be leveled so the door was adjusted to fit the floor). The technician who came out listened patiently to my "diagnosis," explained what the problem actually was and fixed it quickly. He also changed the spring assembly, so the bearing that was squealing is now accessible to WD-40. Now my garage door opens smoothly and quietly. Metro Garage Door Company does great work, their technicians really know their stuff, and even when a bonehead homeowner tries to tell them how to do their jobs their technicians are courteous and professional. These people are terrific!
