I thought I might need a new door, but they were able to fix it for me and said that I should be alright for a while. I prompt and courteous.

The technician arrived on site. He said that our garage door needed to be replaced because it was recalled. He said the owner of the company told him he was not authorized to work on that unit. He was unsure of what the warranty was on the recalled unity. My husband called me at work and I checked online for the recall information before we authorized a replacement. There was no recall on the unity. I told the technician that there was no recall and he said that he was told he could not work on the units bc they were recalled. We sent him home. He insisted that we needed to pay him a 72 service call. I was never told of the fee when I made the appointment. My husband refused to pay the fee because I was not told of the fee and the man did not do any work. We subsequently called the garage door maker and they said there was no recall, they just don't sell the units any longer. I WOULD NOT recommend this company. It felt very weird!

Technician showed up exactly at the communicated start time, removed and replaced tracking and garage door in 3 hours. Prompt and professional services performed in replacing garage door and tracking.

I never saw Bob or anyone from Ridge, but was very pleased, having made minimal contacts from Phoenix. My neighbor, who is often particular/critical of work and workers, had only good things to say about Bob and his work. I would recommend Ridge without hesitation. When I returned to MPLS, Brian from Ridge was very helpful on the phone with programming "rolling codes" for the new opener. Very helpful on phone and my neighbor thought Bob was excellent. No problem at all. Keep up the good work.

I called, they came, fixed and explained the problem, they wrote up the bill, deducted Angie's List discount. I paid we laughed and they left.

Very, very courteous. Punctual. Explained everything they did so I would understand. They also removed the old parts so we wouldn't have to. Office people were also very knowledgeable and courteous. Overall, friendly and good job.

He believed someone on my block had the same code as I did which was opening my door. He changed the code and everything is working fine now. Arrived on time.

Excellent! Came one day after calling; courteous, pricing is appropriate. The only "however" was they were to come in the morning, but rescheduled to the afternoon.

Our garage door spring broke in the evening. We called Metro Garage door, they were helpful and scheduled an appointment for the next morning. They came out promptly, had the right parts, fixed it quickly and offered some maintenance information. All-in-all a good experience.

Working with this company was really a good experience and I was very happy to do business with them. They made sure to help us in a situation so that we would not run into further problems. They are honest, trustworthy and I would recommend them to my friends any time.

They are nice and they have a 24 hour hotline for emergency communication. They did quick but accurate work. We were thoroughly satisfied customers and we were pleased with the price we paid for the services rendered.

Excellent. Technician made it to my home on the worst snow day of the year. Efficiently performed the gear replacement and tested the installation.

Jennifer contacted us very quickly to setup a visit. She provided us with options on the doors and a quote on the spot. She indicated it would be 10-15 working days to get the door and a service person would call to schedule the install. This seems to be where we had the biggest problem. We called after about two and a half weeks to find out the status, since our door was getting worse. No one called us back. We called again three days later. A message service said someone would get back to us on Saturday. Still no call. On Monday we contacted Jennifer, our salesperson. She apologized and found out a part had been back ordered. She indicated the part should be in on Friday (now at four weeks) and could be installed the following week. As promised, the install was done that Monday and the door works great.

Metro dispatch was very obliging in sending out someone the same day I called to handle a potentially dangerous garage door condition. Kevin arrived on time and was very knowledgeable and thorough. He fixed the dangerous door problem and then replaced the installation on two other doors. He also replaced two skate wheels on a door (this was above and beyond what we had asked him to do) and then demonstrated this technique to my husband so that he could replace the rest. Kevin was very courteous, knowledgeable, helpful and did much more than we had expected. He was at our home about two hours. We were very pleased with his work and helpful attitude.

WHEN THEY ARRIVED TO REPLACE THE SPRINGS, THEY BROUGHT TWO SMALL SPRINGS INSTEAD OF TWO CORRECTLY SIZED SPRINGS. WHEN THEY REALIZED THE SPRINGS WERE TOO SMALL, THEY PUT BOTH ON ONE SIDE AND LEFT THE REMAINING OLD SPRING ON THE OTHER SIDE. NOW THE DOOR DOES NOT OPERATE SMOOTHLY BECAUSE IT CRIMPS EVERY TIME IT IS RAISED. WE HAVE ASKED THEM TO COME BACK OUT TO REPAIR THE DOOR PROPERLY, BUT THEY REFUSE.

I was told over the phone that the technician would call me that day when they were going to leave to come to our house. He said that he could not guarantee a time, but it would be before 4pm. No one ever called or came over that day, so I called back shortly before 5pm. The person I then spoke to said that they never put in a request to dispatch for that day! So, I set up another appointment and had to miss another 1/2 day of work. I was not compensated for this inconvenience at all.

Got the actual price by phone on the first call. The final bill matched the phone quote. Installer made one visit to inspect the site before the doors were ordered. Doors took 2-3 weeks to arrive because we chose a ranch panel design rather than the usual panel design. Installation took one day and was very well done, including a color-matched rubber flange around the doors which seals out air. We really like the quiet door openers. No issues after 2 weeks of use. I did not shop around for price so I can't say how competitive the price is. This is January and the garage is definitely warmer due to these insulated doors and the tight seal.

The work was completed to our satisfaction.

Door was damaged by car. Service came and did a temporary fix so the door would function and placed order for new door. Took 3 weeks for special color door. Metro uses well trained personnel that do very good work. Moving the safety lights was $30 extra. Offered a free bottle of touch up paint and hints about maintenance.

I was given a time window of from 8 to noon. When I called in the morning to try and find out where I was on the schedule, they refused to give me any more information. As a result I waited around until the serviceman arrived at 11:30 a.m. The total job took under 10 minutes. I was charged $55 for a trip fee and $39 for the approximately ten minute repair. The company is located approximately five miles from my home. The trip charge was not disclosed at the time the appointment was booked. As far as I know, the work was done well, but the price was exorbitant for the time spent.

I called them late last night and were able to come out early this morning, saving me time and money. He explained what had happened and what was needed to fix the door. He was very professional and worked quickly which I greatly appreciated. They made the whole situation less of a headache than I thought it would be.

I was very unhappy with the company. The first person who installed my door did it wrong and left me with a door clinging to a split 2-by-4. I called and they had someone come out to fix it. It then appeared to be properly installed. It worked for about a week and then it stopped closing properly. I called and spoke to my salesperson and he gave me suggestions as to how I could fix this problem. It did not work and in fact got worse. I called back and scheduled a Saturday appointment for someone to come out and fix the issue. I was told to be home 8-3. They never showed. My sale person came out when I complained on Monday and tried to fix it, finding several major problems, but ended up failing to fix it. Finally I was told I had to take work off for someone to come fix and that I would likely need to pay for it. Finally, after almost 3 months of this mess a guy came out and really fixed the problem, and after hearing my story refused to charge me even though he was told to do so.
