Excellent service. They arrived when they said they would and assembled the new garage door and put it up. They also hauled the old one away.

The spring broke on our garage door, causing us considerable problems in getting the cars out of the garage. While I did eventually get that accomplished, I needed it repaired ASAP, as the door would not work with the garage door opener in that condition. I called Metro Garage and they were able to get me an appointment the same day. The price was $164 to replace both springs, per the Angie's List coupon. I figured if one spring broke, the other wouldn't be far behind. Once the repairman arrived, I had him give me an estimate on some additional work. I wanted to check on replacing the rollers and cables, as they were all 15+ years old and quite noisy. I decided to go with their Fall Service package for $299, which included the spring replacement, new rollers, cables, lubrication of all bearings and moving parts, adjustment of the garage door opener, and a full inspection. The serviceman was pleasant and helpful. I was very pleased with the work.

The overall process was very efficient and professional. The technician was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions. He took extra time to explain how to program our autos to the new garage opener code. The only minor concern was that I wished the technician would of vacuumed his debris he created but overall it was a very positive experience.

I called Ridge Door and requested that someone come out and fix my garage door; I wasn't sure if it was the spring or cable or both that was broken. They scheduled an appointment within two days and were able to complete the work while I was away. I arrived home that evening to find my garage door fixed, a detailed bill and a total cost less than estimated.

When I called and made an appointment on Saturday they told me I was first on the list and someone would be there at 7:30 and when I called at 8:00 they sounded stunned and said they would have someone out by 9:00. Someone arrived at 8:50 and did the work quickly and efficiently. I would recommend the technician to anyone, he was extremely helpful, gave good advice, charged a fair price and a good warranty. I would use them again.

Metro had performed work for us two years earlier on our other garage door. So, when we had a spring break loose on our second garage door we called them again. (We probably should have called them for preventive maintenance before this happened...) Service required replacement installation of 2 new springs, and we requested installation of 4 safety cables as well. The safety cables are a good idea. Somehow, it was one of those tasks that we just never completed. So, we had the serviceman take care of it for us. The work was done well and as quickly as possible. We'd call them again for service.

After trying to repair the insulation strip myself, and failing, I called Metro Garage Door. The person answering the phone was extremely courteous. She understood my request and was able to schedule a technician for the very next day. He came on time. He fixed both door problems in less than a half hour. He explained the problem I had with the insulation strip. The home store strip I had purchased would not work in my door as it used a different type strip, not available at the home store. He showed me the difference. He also explained the idea of moving the electric eyes and mentioned that a previous customer had actually come up with this idea. He also answered my questions about the door parts and how long I could expect them to last and what areas were likely to fail first. When I have another problem with this door, I will certainly call them.

They did a great job. When I called, they scheduled me for the next day. They called me with an estimate, which I accepted and got the job done right away. Everything works perfectly now.

I have used Metro more than once and they have done quality work on all the jobs. This particular job was on a garage that is old and slightly crooked, and they did a nice job of making sure the door closes properly and doesn't look crooked.

They were prompt and courteous. Did a great job, so much so that I recommended them to my daughter who also had garage door problems. They were going to buy a new garage door from Metro Garage doors but after the technician came to take a look, found that he could fix theirs. Thank you for being so honest! Friends have also used this company before for new doors and highly recommended them.

The automatic garage door would not open. There appeared to be something broken. I called Metro Garage Door and they sent Kevin out that same morning, less than a two hour wait, and he replaced the springs and cable so that the garage door would open and close properly. He did a good job.

They were very easy to work with. We had multiple bids on this and they were very prompt and accurate for a timeline with the work. The crew is great and we would use them again.

Gave a firm estimate and time between 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Repair person showed up at 8:00 a.m. sharp and was done very quickly. He was professional, efficient, polite and clear. There were no extra charges and he lubricated the door as well. The door seems to work better than before. The cost was exactly what was quoted. The coupon made it $14 less than standard, before tax. I think it was certainly worth it compared to doing it myself and seemed to be in line with other companies I saw here on Angie's List.

They gave us some options, did what they said they would, and charged what they said they would.

I called at 8:30 am and a repair person was here by 9:30 am. He did an excellent job in a short amount of time. I was very pleased with the service!

A lift cable had broken and the garage door went out of alignment. The service technician arrived within the scheduled time and replaced the cables quickly. He then spent adequate time to test, align and adjust the door to assure it was working properly. The price was fair and their expertise appreciated.

Metro staff were professional and courteous. The installation was timely and very well done.

For reasons unknown my garage door popped a wheel and the cable got tangled up and the door became stuck half-open-at around seven o'clock at night. My neighborhood is less than ideal so I needed to at least get the door closed. My tugging and pushing moved the door exactly nowhere so I began calling around for emergency service. After several dead ends, Metro's technician Dana told me he'd be here in an hour. He arrived on time and fifteen minutes later I had a fully functional garage door and he was off to the next distress call. $300 seems pricey for fifteen minutes work, but in the moment I was so relieved that it seemed worth it. As a bonus, Dana even explained to me why I'd been having trouble with closing the garage door with the remote.
