From start to finish, working with Metro was a pleasure. Larry was professional and knowledgeable when he arrived as scheduled. He assessed our needs, taking precise measurements while offering choices of doors and his suggestions for our best solutions. Not only was Larry timely, but he brought with him an uplifting spirit. He will do the best job possible in a most humble manner. And indeed he did a great job, the doors he helped us choose are perfect!

He left the work area clean, completed the work efficiently, and didn't try to sell me a new garage door.

See above. We ended up calling another company that came out the same day, and did the work we needed plus some other work we had wanted done, all for a very reasonable charge, with no "trip charges."

I called at 8am and was given an estimate on price and a time period of 10am-noon the same day. The technician(Brian, I believe)arrived around 11:45 and promptly diagnosed and repaired the problem. He also noticed that the garage door was heavier than others and made an adjustment to the main spring to compensate. The door now opens more quietly and smoothly than it ever has since I bought the house. I was especially pleased that I was not sold unnecessary parts. The same cable was put back on and the bent track was straightened rather than replaced. The repairs took about 20 minutes. I had an excellent experience.

This is how everything should work. I called a few places and they had the lowest price. I scheduled for the next day. The technician arrived right in the middle of the 3-hour window they gave me. He was professional and quick. He also gave me the option of a keyless touchpad for $49. I declined at first, but then I discovered that our local hardware store was selling the same equipment for $39, so I thought $10 for installation and batteries was a bargain. In other words, they didn't try to gouge me which, unfortunately, is something you don't see too often.

I had used this company before and was very pleased. So, when my garage door kept reversing and the remotes plus the key less entry pad stopped working I knew exactly who to call. I know for a fact (read other companies reports) that Ridge Door charges a very fair price and only does what is necessary. I called them in the morning, and they were out to my house by that afternoon. Very professional and prompt. I will always use this company for anything related to garage door issues. They did a 5-Star job both times I called them.

It was great. They did everything within 48 hours with a holiday in between. The staff was great. They gave me a quote and that is what I paid. The garage door works and I've had no problems.

The service technician was knowledgeable and friendly. He worked for 20 minutes and replaced the gear & sprocket. The technician told me they charge a fixed rate of $189 for this type of work. The part cost was $34 on internet. I think if the rate was between $100 and $150 including the part, it would be appropriate.

It went very poorly. I left work to be at home during the designated time. I told them there was no need to call as I would be at home. However, I discovered a confirmation message on my cell phone, which I was not expecting and did not pick up quickly enough before they dispatched the service people to another location. I called them back when I saw the message and they told me my only option was to reschedule for another day...what was really annoying was they didn't even say they were sorry for the mix up. I was trying to think through when I might find another available time to get away to do the work, at which point the call got disconnected. It's been over 30 minutes and they have not called back. I've had it and am moving on to another company.

I called on the Saturday morning, two days after Christmas, and was pleased to reach a human being. Although they were already booked up for the day, I was able to make an appointment for Monday morning between 8:00 am and noon and was told they would call when they were on the way. The technician, Randy, showed up at about 9:30, without calling first, but that was no big deal. Randy was professional, amiable, and polite and had the job done in about a half hour. The price was $189 to replace the springs and an $39 optional maintenance an safety check(which included adjusting the chain, lubricating rollers, and securing any loose hardware). I would recommend these folks if you need a similar repair done.

They showed up when they said they were going to, the technician was polite and professional, the door has been working since they came out. Would use again.

When we called they offered to come the same day. They got here when promised and were finished in 20 minutes. The workman was pleasant, clean and efficient. Definitely a great experience. They have earned all of our future garage door business.

This was our first time using Metro Garage Door and I would definitely use them again. I expected they would tell us we needed a new opener but that was not the case. The service technician, Darren was very friendly and knowledgeable.

The door malfunctioned on Sunday (a spring broke and a roller came off) and an appointment was made for Monday morning. The technician was timely, professional, and replaced both springs and a roller in a little less than 1 hour. I took advantage of the $189 for two springs offer. The technician also advised on door maintenance.

They were very responsive--they offered to come out the same day, but we requested an appointment a few days later to accommodate our work schedules. The installer showed up toward the end of the time window they gave us, but finished on time. He was very nice and professional. We realized after he had left that we wanted a wireless keypad so we don't need to carry an opener with us. I kind of wish he would have suggested that at the time, but when I called the Metro office, they sent the keypad out right away. It was very easy to install so I did it myself. Overall, great customer service. It did end up costing more than I had expected, but that may have been more due to my expectations than their pricing. I would definitely recommend Metro Garage.

Went fine, except that the price quoted was different from what I was charged. The lady on the phone told me that it would be based on a service call flat fee, plus time and parts (I was not given an exact amount). I expected up to $125-$150 max. However, the service repairman charged me a flat rate of $172, which, according to him, is the standard charge for replacing gears. He also told me that this was the price quoted to him by the company to charge me. Even the repairman was surprised that I had not been given the actual cost in advance. If I had known it would be that much I would have just replaced the whole mechanism! At least he tried to make amends by fixing one of my remotes. Lesson learned.

My garage door was really giving me problems and I contacted Metro and set up an appointment for them to come out the following Monday. On Saturday their dispatcher called and told me that they had a person available that afternoon. I agreed to have them send the person and they came later in the afternoon as promised. It didn't take Darrin long to find the problem and explain what was needed. He did the work quickly and well. He was friendly and professional even at the end of a very hot summer day. My garage door works very well now and is much quieter when opening and closing. I was very pleased with the work.

Metro Garage did a phenomenal job. We had a fairly major mishap with our garage door which had become tangled up with a ladder we had stored in our garage. The door came off it's tracks on one side, completely bent the metal guide and lost several rollers. It was a huge mess. Add to it this was a holiday weekend. Metro Garage sent someone out that same day within a few hours. The work was complete within an hour and totaled $160. The garage door actually works better than it had before the accident. We were extremely happy with the response and with the work - we'll use Metro Garage again!

Overall, the work was really shakey. I called them about two weeks ago. They were going to come out on the 12th. The gentleman came out on the 11th to measure and that was great. No one showed up the day of the appointment. On the 13th I got a call saying that they received the parts and they were wanting to know when they could install them. We played phone tag and they kept asking me where I lived. They finally came out today. We played phone tag for a week. The gentleman put up half of the work which was fine, but he only brought the parts for half of the job. He left for two or three hours to go get the rest of the parts. He finally finished the work and wrote up a receipt for two hours of labor. There was a lot of confusion. I expected to have this done on the 12th of November, not the day before Thanksgiving. I didn't like that it was all of a sudden two hours of labor when it was supposed to be only one.

The contact for repairs was $10 lower than another company and they could perform the repair on the same day. The banded the time frames for repair, and I chose Noon to 4pm. The repair person was there 10 minutes early, was professional, neat and courteous. They found an additional problem that was repaired in tandem with the spring, both in about 45 minutes.

They responded to my call quickly. They scheduled me in on the same day that I called them. The guy did a nice job. He got the job done quickly. He was very nice and easy to deal with.

Called in the morning, and they were here in the afternoon. Work was done with no problems and to my satisfaction.

Great experience. I would call again if I need work done on my garage. Stop reading and just call these guys.

The technician arrived in the time window agreed upon, and the company called to tell us he was on his way. He looked at the operation of the door and knew immediately what was needed. He calculated cost for the job up front and we said, Go Ahead! This fellow (Dana) really knew what he was doing; installed a strut across the top of each door and properly connected the L-shaped thing to the reinforced top of door. Then he lubed the doors and adjusted the travel for each opener so it opens and closes its door quietly and smoothly, like it did when it was new. How lovely.

They were able to come quickly and did the job well.
