They were at my house 4 days ago and couldnt do the job because we needed electrical work done. They came back today as agreed upon after the electrical work had been completed and installed a new garage opening system. The price was very inexpensive. They did the work perfectly and expediently.

My call was answered immediately and the technician arrived soon after and explained everything. I ended up needing a door opener as well as the broken springs. He even told me to go online to get an additional coupon available. Job was done fast and complete.Would recommend to anyone.

We would have appreciated it if the technician would have advised us ahead of time for the additional work and cost. In balance, the work was excellent, prompt, professional and fairly priced.

The tech was great, and the repair was great. I was very disappointed with the billing. They charged $199 to replace the sprocket which is a $25 part (price found on Amazon.com). In no way did the invoice reflect that service was part of that cost. In fact, the invoice reflected a $39 service fee. In total the tech was at our house for no more than 1 hour. I sent an email and received a call from a customer service rep. They were nice, but told me that the labor was built into the part cost. This makes sense, but the labor is astronomical and billing misleading. I sent another email asking for more information and never received a response. Perhaps this is standard business practice, but it was a terrible experience for a first-time garage repair.

Technician was able to come early and contacted me at work (as I'd requested when I made the appointment). When I got home soon thereafter, I was surprised and very pleased to discover that the technician had already completed the work. He explained and showed me everything he did (including a minor repair to a door feature that I didn't even mention when I called for the appointment!). But my real surprise came when I tried out the door...it operated smoother and quieter than the day it was installed! The technician also asked to place a sticker on the inside of the door that described the work done that day, he said, "In case another company comes out to do any work on the door." I told him that was not likely as they will get ALL of our business from now on. Very prompt, professional, friendly, quality work performed! I was also impressed by how happy the technician appeared to be working for Metro Garage - he showed enthusiasm and pride in his work and expressed pride in the company.

They always send the same person and they’re nice and prompt. They’re very reasonable. They look at the garage door and notice other things that are wrong, like the bolts are loose. They lube the rails and all the little extras.

On time, professional and talked about improvements I could make but wasn't pushy.

The job took about a half hour. The service technician Scott was efficient and friendly and explained the work in detail. The replacement springs were thicker than the original springs that broke. Had an Angie's list coupon but had to remind the guy when he wrote up my order.

I would recommend them. It went very smoothly and they did a good job. I don’t think we checked out too many other places for pricing. Overall they were very good. We will use them again.

I was told a technician would arrive between 8:00 and noon, but no one came, so I called the company about 12:15 and was told the technician was running late. He did not arrive until 1:20. As a result of this major delay, I had to change my plans for the remainder of the day and reschedule an afternoon appointment. If the office knew he was running late, they should have called me during the morning to tell me of the delay. The tune up work was fine, and the technician explained things when he finished. The actual work/service was fine; scheduling with this company is a problem. As a consumer, careful scheduling is as important to me as the work itself is. I do not feel that the company values my business.

I was able to make an appointment on short notice, at a time that was convenient for me. The rapair man called when he was on his way (I was the first appointment of the morning) and was punctual. He performed the service quickly and was friendly and professional.

There was a coupon on Angie’s List for a garage door tune up for $59 and that’s what I got.

They forgot to show up the first time I scheduled them but I called them about it the next week. They apologized and made another appointment. They guy showed up, was quick and did a pretty good job. I used an Angie's List coupon but I think their price was actually pretty good. I will use them again in the future.

The day after making the appointment I realized I'd have to postpone it one week. When I called, the receptionist didn't seem to pay much attention, and I hoped the change would be made correctly. It wasn't. The repairman showed up here and I wasn't home. He left a note saying I'd have to pay for the home visit. I called and said I'd changed the appointment so I shouldn't have to pay twice. They agreed and everything seemed fine. The following week repairs were made to both our openers. The serviceman was friendly, polite and seemed to know what he was doing. I was quite happy. Until the original problem returned. I called to have them come out again, and was told I would be charged for the visit. When I protested, the receptionist said she'd call me back. When she did she gave me a few things to check before they'd send someone. That night we checked and the door still didn't work properly. I called the following day and said we'd need someone to come here. That's when things really got rough. The receptionist rattled on about charges and I became confused. I don't mind paying for parts and labor. That's normal. So I didn't understand her continuing to dwell on charges and said so. She told me if I'd be quiet and listen, she'd explain. I was dumfounded at her words, tone and attitude. At no time did she say she was sorry the repair hadn't worked. They give a four hour window, so I had to cancel all activities outside my home for an entire afternoon. Again. This is not a good time of year to be stuck at home. I want to stress that she never apologized for the inconvenience. We set up the appointment for next Monday. After thinking about the situation, I changed my mind. Her treatment toward me was inexcusable. The receptionist is the face and voice of a company, and she failed miserably. The serviceman gets high marks, the receptionist should be shown the door. I've decided to start fresh and have another company coming. I don't care if I have to buy a new opener or what it costs. I simply do not ever want to speak to that rude Metro person ever again. At a time when people would do nearly anything for a job, Metro needs to hire someone who knows how to deal with the public.

I had an emergency garage door issue, so I called at 7 am. They said they could come the same day btwn 12-5. Jim showed up around 3:30. He was super friendly and professional. He determined that I needed a new one. The first option was to have someone come the next day to install it, but he rearranged his schedule and stayed and got the job done. I would recommend their service.

Spring to garage door broke Monday morning. Called that afternoon for earliest appointment and was told to expect someone the next day between 10 and 2, with a phone call about half hour before their arrival. Received phone call at 1:30 from Dana saying he was on his way. Arrived at 2:10 -- left at 2:50. Dana worked fast and efficiently, asking for assistance only to open and close the garage door since it was heavy with the broken spring. He was very friendly and professional. He gave me a can of lube to use periodically on the rollers and cables to prevent rusting again. He said the Angie's list coupon saved us about $18. We have used this company before also with excellent results.

The people that I called to set up the appointment were helpful and extremely flexible (I was trying to piggy-back this appointment with another, to minimize the time off work, and they were very willing to work with me and coming up with possible dates). The serviceman called on the way to let me know he'd be there shortly, and showed up in the promised time frame. He asked if I'd been having any problems, and I told him that yes, it was making a lot of squeaking noises. He showed me exactly why that was happening, what was causing it, as well as his recommendations. He showed me where things were wearing or worn, and when I asked him if he could make the repairs, he had all of the parts in his truck, so it didn't require a second visit, and he told me exactly what the price of things were, so there were no surprises. I appreciated the explanations he gave me on how I can minimize repairs with regular maintenance and what to watch for. He was quick, he was thorough, he removed all the debris and old cables and rollers, etc. He even fixed my garage door key pad which hadn't worked in years!! When he finished, he tested it all. I will definitely be using them for further needed repairs, and also intend to contact them for the spring maintenance. They are located not far from where I live, which is very convenient, and I appreciated the chance to find them via Angie's List.

I called Metro Garage to schedule an appointment and to accomodate my schedule, they were kind enough to come out the very next morning. Scotty was punctual, professional and very efficient. Within 2 minutes, he inspected both garage door openers and provided me an estimate. He replaced a broken spring, cleaned the unit and lubed the tracking in about 20 minutes. He did not try to sell me anything I didn't want and thoroughly went over the part warranty and service guarantee before he left. I will definitely use them again in future.

Time range for service was between 8am-noon, showed up at 8:15, done by 9:10. Courteous, professional. Not much more to be said. Did what I asked, quickly.

When I got home that evening, it was a delight to hear a "quiet' garage door opening. I had sorta gotten used to the noise it made. Both Larry and I were pleased with the work and with Scott's expertise and professionalism. We will most definitely use Metro Garage Door Company in the future. Good job, Scott! We will also keep an eye out for more "Big Deals" from Angie's List, since this one went so well.

He arrived on time, preformed the service, and was courteous. Scott expained what could be a problem in the future and seemed very knowledgable.

I got their name from a co-worker who has used them. I called on Thursday night and they were able to come out this morning and fix it. It was great! It was a quick service. The repairman was really personable and polite. I will find out the quality of their work as time goes on.
