Based on conversation, terms and product I would certainly consider him in the future. We did not hire this time simply due to a very restricted budget.

The gentleman was very prompt and very responsive. We needed to repair an outside faucet and also the toilet. He was very congenial and very informative. A very pleasant experience, will use them again. In fact I recommended him to my inlaws and they were very happy.

I was extremely pleased with the service, professionalism, and courtesy that Dale showed to me. Being new to the state, I had not lived in a home with a water softener. Even though he was here to replace our water heater, he was very kind to explain a few key points relating to water softeners. I would have no hesitation calling Kal's again when their plumbing services are needed.

We had a water heater with a leak that was putting the pilot light and burner assemble after several hours. Plus a few other items such as a broken lift and turn drain stop that no longer stayed up, a clogged drain from the tub and slow drip from the tub's plumbing when draining. A nice trifecta of plumbing issues that made me worried for my pocketbook. We searched craigslist for a plumber to replace the water and hopefully help with the other issues for a reasonable price. I saw KAL's ad and a link to his website that mentioned no cost estimates and listed waiving the service call fee if mentioned. I searched the internet for any other reviews, a few good review and fortunately none that were bad or had complaints. I called and left a message early evening on Saturday on a holiday weekend with a realistic expectation of scheduling a visit the following week. My call was promptly returned and I explained the main issue (heater) and the other issues. He asked for my availability on Sunday or Monday and stated we would be ok with either day. We had no other plans except for a trip to the MN State Fair and could adjust that as needed. However, he stated he could come out there that night if that worked. I wasn't expecting that but was excited he was able to accommodate us that evening. Ended the call and quickly moved the water heater we had purchased down to the basement to help with speeding up job. He showed up a bit before 8pm as his expected arrival time and started working right away. Laying down material to protect the carpeted stairs and path to the utility room. He discussed what he was going to do and items (new clamp type connectors instead of soldering in copper tubing). He worked fast, hauled away the old water heater and left the area super clean! Even though it was after 8:30 he was wonder and helped with the remaining issues we had. Quickly replacing the drain stop and pvc plumbing (and god awful hair clog). For the remaining items, he only charged us half hour labor on top of the water heater replacement cost. We are super thankful he was able to come out and help us on Labor day weekend, it was great to have a hot shower before and after the trips to the fair! If I have any issues with plumbing, I'll definitely be calling them.

Rick was very responsive. We originally scheduled the work for a few days after I called but he was able to come do the work a couple days sooner. He gave a time window of just 1-1/2 hrs, which I really appreciate. He was friendly, professional, and efficient.

It was an emergency after hours call. They made record time to get here. I highly recommend them.

I was very satisfied with the work that Kal's Plumbing performed and I will definitely use them again. The plumber (Dale) took the time to explain how he intended to install the new water and gas lines and made sure that I knew how to use and maintain them. The installation of a new water line to my deck turned out to be a bit challenging because the line needed to be installed to an upper deck from my lower level garage but Dale did a wonderful job figuring out how to accomplished the task.

They were excellent, efficient and very tidy. The plumber, Dale, was very helpful. I had some other plumbing questions that he helped me with that was beyond the scope of the water heater. He was just very friendly, positive and upbeat. I definitely would call him again.

The price was reasonable. He was responsive. He was recommended by two other professionals.We would absolutely use him again.

The plumber was great he explained exactly what was happening and what he needed to do. I am recently moved to the US from Ireland and not at all familiar with US plumbing. He was in and out in 30 minutes. Effecient and friendly. Could not recommend these people more.

We first called Kal's Plumbing last Thanksgiving morning due to a leak underneath our sink. We were called back right away and a technician was sent right out. The prices were reasonable for a holiday call. The technician was friendly, informative and helpful. Our hot water heater was in need of replacement and the technician was able to give us a quote right away. We scheduled a date to have the hot water heater replaced and the technician showed up on time and completed the job and removed the old water heater in the time frame stated. The technician went above and beyond and placed our empty box and in our recyclable bin that was being picked up that day. Thanks Dale! I will be using Kal's Plumbing again.

I called Kal's Plumbing and left a message describing the situation. I received a call back within a couple hours from Dale. It was fairly late in the day on New Year's Eve, so he updated me on his schedule and let me know what would be possible. Fortunately, he was able to stop by late afternoon that same day. Dale was very outgoing and friendly. He took care to lay-down sheets to prevent tracking-in on our carpet. He did a great job of explaining the situation and what he believed needed to be done. As I suspected, Dale had to remove the toilet tank and cut a hole in the sheet rock. He took care to keep the cut hidden behind the tank as much as possible. The leaking elbow was directly behind the tank, so he did not need to open-up more of the wall to track down the leak. He worked quickly, yet was willing to answer various questions my wife and I had about the repair, as well as other plumbing questions we had for our house. Dale did a great job of cleaning-up after the repair. Overall my wife and I are very happy and will certainly use Kal's Plumbing again in the future when needed. We will also recommend them to others. Plumbing work is typically never going to be "cheap" but I believe their pricing is fair.

It was a great experience, I received a call back after my message requesting work. Someone from Kal's came out looked at the project and gave us a bid. We were pleased the price compared to other bids we had received and scheduled a time for the work. The plumber arrived when scheduled, performed the work as bid, cleaned up and was done. He covered all flooring from the door up to the bathroom he was working on to keep from making a mess on our carpet. The service, quality of job & price were great. We would definitely use Kal's again.

Wow, what can I say. I contacted Kal's late in the day through Angie's List and Rick returned my message promptly the next morning. He spent quite a bit of time talking to me on the phone about how they might fix the problem. I scheduled the work for the following week. Dale showed up on the scheduled date right at the scheduled time to do the work. Very punctual. Dale was great. Very nice to work with, always explaining what he was doing. Rick showed up for a bit to help and didnt charge me at all for his own time. Overall it took about 2 1/2 hours to finish. Towards the end of the work I heard Dale rummaging around near the clothes washer and went to see how he was doing. To my surprise, he was cleaning the floor around the work area. They left the area spotless. The work they did was perfect. The price was more than reasonable. I couldnt have asked for more. Kal's is on my list of contractors to use in the future. .

The project went FLAWLESSLY. We appreciated Rick staying in contact with us as the work progressed. The coordination on the project was outstanding. Everyone who worked on the project was "top notch" and professional. Clean up during the project and especially afterward was excellent. In all of our years of working with contractors, we have never had a better experience.

Kal's Plumbing & Contracting did an outstanding job. Mr. Rick from Kal's called and said his man would be there in an hour. He was on time and did a great job. The plumber was very pleasant and left the area spotless. I would like to see Kal's Plumbing & Contracting accept credit cards.

Kal's was prompt on returning my phone call and they had the water heater installed by the end of the same week.

I have had Kal's out a few times to do various jobs on my new house. They have done a great job. In the cost I estimated, there's probably 10-12 hours of man hours plus supplies, so that includes a lot. Rick returns calls in a timely manner, even during evenings and weekends, and the guys who perform the work are extremely friendly and professional. They repaired burst pipes, unclogged drains, replaced the exterior faucets, repaired pipes that had been cut and capped, replaced the interior parts of toilets, the pipes beneath a few sinks, installed a water line for the refrigerator.... and pretty much anything else that would (hopefully!) ever have to be repaired. They showed up when they said they would, worked very hard, and are fair and up front about the pricing. I'd recommend them to anyone!!

Excellent experience, wish I had found him sooner. I thought his price for the work he did was very reasonable based on my previous experiences with plumbers. He took care of everything in one visit, including having to run out to get the new disposal, when he could have said he'd need to come back and charge me for another visit. Very pleasant and really seems to know his business.

We had been working for days to try and unplug our toilet to no avail. We called Kal's and as Rick was in the neighborhood he showed up within an hour. He was thorough, professional and efficient and within 20 minutes of hard work he completely unblocked the mud-like build-up that we would never have been able to remove ourselves. He recommended a tool we could get to use the next time. We are fully satisfied with his work.
