During our initial correspondence I inquired about a deep clean and was under the impression a deep clean would be performed. In my opinion, this was barely a surface clean. I take responsibility for the whole house not being prepared for them to service and initially had no qualms with paying the full price as the error was my fault. I however expected the 4 rooms to be completely cleaned. Upon inspecting the work, I was disappointed to find the following: · There was no mopping done to any of the floors. · All kitchen counters had not been cleaned. · The kitchen counters that had been cleaned had items placed on them from the unmopped floor, thus invalidating any cleaning that may have occurred. · In the bathroom with the full tub the rug was not removed when the floor was swept and also the items from the sweeping were left in a corner and not thrown away. · The ¾ bath the shower was not cleaned only the base of the shower indicated that there was an attempt to clean the shower. Not the shower door, not the shower walls just a cleaning done on the floor of the shower itself. The toilet and sink were not completely cleaned either. · A can soda from a member of the staff was left in my living room and the garbage bag containing the rags used for cleaning was left in the bedroom. My bedroom reeked of cleaning products. In their correspondence prior the visit they indicated that the following would be done all floors vacuumed/mopped, dust all areas, etc. None of this was done. I must admit I am very dissatisfied with this experience. Especially since there was additional, time that the staff could have allotted to complete the task but choose to leave early. There are other items that I would have liked to have seen done that were listed in their task list but since I asked for focus on the 3 bathrooms and the kitchen I will take responsibility for them not being addressed. After the cleaning Elizabeth King emailed me on 09/12/2011 to follow-up on my service and to see if I would like to schedule future cleanings. I replied to Elizabeth on 09/15/2011 with the results listed above and pictures to validate my claims. On 09/19/2011, she replied to my email regarding the results and she stated she would provide a partial refund of my payment, apologized for the situation and stated she should have viewed the property before biding on it. To be honest at that time that was more than acceptable. Who could ask for more? As a reasonable person, I was pleased with her offer and waited on my refund check. Well on 10/17/2011, I contacted her to find the status of my refund. She replied on 10/26/2012 that the check was returned to her as the address was incorrect. She requested my address again, I replied with my address and she stated she would reissue the check. It is now 02/07/2012 and I have not received a refund.
