CHALLENGE TO IMPROVE: We believe that self-development should never end. We have big ambitions and as a practice to ensure growth we embrace challenges as opportunities. This applies to Blue Painting, as a whole, our managers, our painters, and our processes. We don't want to take the easy way out.
I would not recommend Blue Painting AT ALL. I was shopping around for an exterior painter for my stucco house and decided to go with them after talking with Max. It seems Blue Painting does not have professional painters who work for them, rather random day workers who are nice enough but do very mediocre work. The paper work Blue Painting gives you says they will, â pressure wash, days in advanceâ and â scrape all peeling and flaking paint.â None of that happened. Instead the crew showed up unannounced with no representative from Blue with them. The crew started spraying paint without scraping any part of the house. I was told,â they would prime after the first coat.â This doesnâ t make much sense nor did the house get primed after the first coat. I was told the home was finished, I walked around my home to find that many places were peeling off from not being prepped properly. I contacted Blue Painting, Max came out and agreed that the job done was not representative of their work. A crew was sent out and again the crew went right into painting without proper prep work. I addressed these issues with Max and Tony, they came out to talk with the crew and reassured me they would do a better job. However, the same day the crew continued to prime and paint without scraping any of the old paint. I spoke with Max again explaining that the home was not being painted correctly. The crew was then replaced and a new one brought in. For the next three weeks, I had to oversee the work on a daily basis and show them the areas that were missed. It was an extremely stressful and frustrating process. I hired a company who sold the basic idea of a job that their employees would do (from my experience they have no skilled, trained employees, all day workers) and then fell horribly short with little to no oversight or standards. When I was told the home was finally finished I had to go around and use my own ladder to show Max all the spots that were missed again. Then before the issues were even addressed he asked me for payment in full. I stated that I would pay in full when the work was done. The next day when I was told they were finished. I noticed a few missed spots and asked that they be addressed, Max alluded that a mechanical lien waiver would need to be issued and was worried I wouldnâ t pay and that he had â prepared other remediesâ if I was refusing to pay. Max continued in the other emails that they had â other options to resolveâ basically threatening me even though I had stated many times I would pay once the job was complete. Finally, Max came out himself and did the final touch ups and the job was paid in full. The next week I got a notice of â Intent to file a lienâ even though the mediocre job was paid for in full. In conclusion, if you are looking for painters I would steer clear of Blue Painting LLC. The disregard for the work and the lack of oversight from beginning to end will leave you with a truly overpriced, oversold, and insufficient paint job.

Customer service is amazing. Quick answers to all my questions. There were a few repairs to the siding before the painting could be done. Everything was expertly repaired. The crew was pleasant and cleaned up all around the house, including the deck and patio. The house looks amazing. We're ready to sell and the new, fresh exterior should appeal to prospective buyers.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! Here's why: 1. They gave me the estimate, I signed off on the estimate and was later told that the estimate was wrong and too low. The owner came out and asked for me to pay more money and to give them a good review via a video testimonial (prior to them even starting) 2. They sub out ALL of their work. I was told that I could have a crew of up to 7 and it would take 7-10 days. I initially had 1 guy for the first week and he barely finished the upstairs in that time. Then he brought in one other painter. 3. The first round of painters they brought in for my project GAVE ME COVID!! 4. I ended up having three different "crews" because the first crew had COVID and the other "crews" kept getting called out to other jobs that were clearly more important than mine 5. The work is SHOTTY!!! I wish I could upload pictures here to prove it. Understandably this was a large project and dark colors are challenging but this is NOT professional quality. If I wanted these results I would have done it myself. I now have had to hire an actual painter to come in and fix everything 6. Unclear communication; nobody showed up when they said they would; multiple "project managers" 7. Project started on 2/1/21 and between having to quarantine and a multitude of different crews/scheduling, I ended up firing them on 3/29/21 and it still was not finished. 2 MONTHS!! This was one of the WORST experiences I have had. Unclear if they were trying to take advantage or just are a really crappy company. I never write reviews but felt I needed to get the word out there to not hire this company!!!! I wish I could give 0 stars!!!

Blue customer service was outstanding and the crews were very easy to work with. Popcorn was removed from several ceilings and then skim coated and painted. We also had the living and dining room walls painted. We are pleased with the final results and would recommend to others.

We hired Blue for a large interior paint job for 3 floors of our house. Initially we met with Max for an estimate, who was friendly and very attentive to noting all of our little detailed requests. My family was very unsure of what color/design we wanted to go for, so Blue went extra to help us with a Color Designer from Sherwin Williams that came out to our house and helped us choose the right colors. The employees were respectful and quiet in our home. When the project ended, it was nice to have the employees ask if we had seen any areas that needed a touch up or weren't up to our standards (which wasn't hardly anything), but nice to have people that wanted to satisfy us and not get out the door. The paint job looks excellent and glad we hired them.

Terrible process from beginning to end. Max provided a quote and promised quality work. Sub contractor (not Blue employee) started job (late), then left for another job, and returned and finished the job late so I was not available for inspection. Many missed locations, painted rocks,damage to gutter downspounts, paint on maintenance free window trim, sections missed on chimney, overall poor to below average work. Not a pro painter, he was a farmer who does this on the side. After denying second 1/2 pymt, Tony shows up and promises to make things right. Returns multiple times to finish the job, which seems ironic given they were 'a few small issues', replaces the damaged gutters and leaves the old ones laying on the side of my home, which are still there. Then threatens legal action if I don't pay, (then sent a pre-lein notice within 5 min of me originally bringing issues to light). Then when sending the final invoice as I am 100% over dealing with them and what I owed isn't worth legal fees, they magically tell me there is 3% fee to accept a electronic pymt. They did however offer to give me a discount of $150 dollars if i promised to remove a negative review and sign a statement that I would not leave any other negative reviews, which I declined. This is not company to due business with, go elsewhere. What they say and promise and what they deliver are not connected.

Max seems reputable, he took my deposit. After 2 weeks of no response, Lucus the production manager pushed the job off until 2nd wk in July. No one called to confirm, after 1 month of waiting I asked for my deposit back. Max seemed surprised. There is a disconnect between Max & the painters. Would say don't ask for a deposit if you cannot provide a start date. Luckily certa pro gave a great estimate, very professional. Printed estimate on site. Randy responds promptly to calls. They gave me a real start date & started 2 days early. So far I am happy.
