Great store with helpful sales people and staff. I brought in my 10 year old upright vacuum because it was smoking and smelling like burnt rubber. Al's staff cleaned it up, replaced the belt and air filter for $75.00. The service took about a week and the vacuum cleaner is back in working condition. I also purchased a new Miele canister vacuum. The sales person was very helpful. I liked the fact I could demo a number of different models in the store to see which one I liked best. Prior to going to Al's, I had only looked at the big box stores where you can't try something out before buying it. It was extremely helpful to have someone walk me through the features of each vacuum, determine what I needed for my type of flooring, and even smash dirt and crumbs into the carpet to simulate the kinds of messes I face at home. Overall, a great experience. I'd definitely shop there again and have already recommended Al's to a number of friends.

It went very well. I was waited on immediately as I approached the Service Desk. The technician accompanied me to my vehicle and lifted the carpet cleaner out and brought it into the store for me. We discussed the problem - not extracting water from the carpet. He looked it over and told me generally that's due to one of the covers on the machine not being securely in place. He monkeyed around with it for a minute or two and the lid on the dirty water container snapped into place. He started it up and put his hand by the brushes to see if there was suction. There was, so he said he thought it would work okay now and I could take it home and give it another try - no charge. I was surprised and asked if he would recommend further servicing of the machine. He explained they have a maintenance service where they check the belts, lubricate moving parts, thoroughly clean up the machine, etc. and it costs $44. This sounded great since I was originally thinking I might need to replace it at a cost of over $300. I left it on Friday and was told it would be done by the following Wednesday. On the promise date they called me to say it was ready. When I picked it up and paid for the service the same technician brought the carpet cleaner out to my vehicle and loaded it in for me. They also sell/service Dyson vacuums. I was given a quote of $80 to thoroughly clean my Dyson. This seemed reasonable based on our experience of trying to dismantle and clean it ourselves.

They sold us top quality equipment that is much better than you would get in an ordinary store. It is professional grade stuff that can handle lots of pet hair and other tough situations.

Upon arriving at Al's, the store was well staffed, and the repair done in a couple minutes while I waited. The charge for labor and parts was very reasonable. Then I told them I was referred by Angie's List.

Al's is amazing, they make these older vacuum cleaners look and work like a brand new machine, and their costs are very reasonable. Their estimates are on target with final cost as well as with the time needed for repairs.

WE BOUGHT A HIGH-QUALITY VACUUM FROM AL'S AND HAVE BEEN VERY HAPPY WITH IT (RICCAR). PLUS, THE YEARLY MAINTENANCE/CHECK-UPS ARE FREE!

EXCELLENT JOB. MY VACUUM WAS TUNED UP AND THE CORD REPLACED. THE WORK WAS DONE IN A TIMELY MANNER AND THIS IS DEFINITELY THE PLACE I'LL GO FOR ANY VACUUM PROBLEMS OR CLEANING ISSUES I HAVE. THEY KNOW THEIR STUFF AND DO IT WITH A SMILE.

OLD FASHIONED CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE SALESMAN SPENT THE TIME WITH ME TO DETERMINE WHICH VACUUM WOULD WORK BEST FOR ME AND THEN EXPLAINED TO ME HOW EVERY PIECE AND THE WARRANTY WORKED. IMPRESSIVE!

MY 11 YEAR OLD RICCAR VACUUM NEEDED ELECTRICAL WORK. AFTER REPAIRING, THE BEARINGS ON THE MOTOR FAILED. FACED WITH ANOTHER $100 MOTOR REPLACEMENT, I BOUGHT A NEW RICCAR. THEY REFUNDED ALL BUT $20 OF THE PREVIOUS REPAIR COST ($20 FOR LABOR) AND I BOUGHT A NEW VACUUM. THEY WERE EAGER TO MAKE ME HAPPY AND DID ALL THEY COULD.
