The owner, Dave, called after inspecting the vehicle to tell me what he had found and an estimate for repairs. He explained the rear brakes were down to 20%, but they did not have to be replaced at this time. He could have told me the rear brakes needed to be replaced, but he explained that if this was his car he would wait. His honesty means a great deal and I will use his shop again.

My 2000 Mercury Sable needed over-all inspection and oil change. I accidently called 98th Street Auto but decided to make an appointment after talking to Dave the owner. The friendly and prompt service was great. All of my future work will be done at this location

The price was a little high. They never asked for my coupon from Angie's List. I would use them if the cost went down. They were great but a little high in their price.

They are easy to work with. They are trustworthy and reliable. They were honest in their description as to what repairs needed to be done to keep the auto running.

Great - Dave and his crew - do exactly what they are going to do when they promise to do it. They give sound advice and really watch out for the customers' best interest.

Our van is ancient, and has over 180K miles on it, so we didn't want to pour a lot of money into unnecessary repairs. After completing an overall inspection of the vehicle, Dave patiently explained their findings in plain English. He identified which repairs were critical for either safety or performance reasons, and which could be put off until a later date. He was quite understanding of the kinds of repairs that are appropriate for a vehicle of this age and mileage. He let us know the brakes would need to be redone in the near future, but could be put off for another 6 months or so. If the van's still alive at that time, we could do the repairs then. Dave and all of his staff were very friendly and trustworthy. With the exception of a message left over a holiday weekend, calls were returned quickly. We'll definitely use them for our future car repairs.

Dave gave a detailed breakdown on what was wrong with my car. He recommended what should be replaced first and there was an unexpected repair which he did not charge labor for. He even showed me the broken part and went over how it works. Excellent service.

Very pleasant, professional, and efficient. They seem to care about customer service and about the safety of the customer's car. They checked with us before doing extra work that they thought advisable. The radiator has worked fine since the work was done. The antenna works ok as well. This seems like a lot for an antenna, but the price at the dealer was considerably more. The final charge was $3 lower than the estimate

They always do nice work for me and call and let me know where they are with the project that they are working on for my car. The approximate cost of $50 was for changing my oil and replacing my winder shield wiper fluid after it had frozen.

My office is very close to 98th Street Auto, making for a convenient choice for car care. While the prices may not be low, the addage is true that you get what you pay for.

They explain things very thoroughly and give them a written estimate before doing the work. They are very honest.
