We purchased new furniture for our home and had an issue with our sleeper sofa being to big to enter through the door way of our room. I called into Ashley and my salesperson wasn't in that day so i got to speak with the manager Tony. He heard me out and even though it was passed the 7 day return policy he was extremely quick to say "No problem" we will pick it up and return or exchange it. I had already found another item that would work in our room so I gave him the item number and they actually had it in stock and he was able to give me the price on the spot and will actually credit my difference since the other was more expensive. I am in awe with how great of customer service i received and am just so happy that we were able to return the couch and get something else to replace it. We have always purchased from Ashley Homestore in Albertville and we will continue to do so in the future. The items are being delivered on Sunday ( two day waiting period) and I couldn't be happier with the service and understanding. Thank you Tony!!!

He did not give me a call. I had to call him a week later. I could have the first ottoman thanks to that. The second one, I was waiting for him giving me a call. 3 weeks later I called him. Then he told me that the color I wanted is out of stock. Seriously? First of all, when I paid at the store he said there is a stock for my color, and he said he will give me a call when it arrived at the store. He did not give me a call, I waited and waited and HAD TO call him, and now he says my color is out of stock???? He did not apologize or anything and said "want a different color"? .... If I wanted a different color I would have bought that color in the first place. Then he said "Ok, I can give you a refund". This store is screwed up. They did not give me a call, screwed up my order, and no apology. His attitude was like "I will give you a refund, what else do you want??" Of course I got a refund, and asked some extra for my inconvenient & unpleasant experience (and my credit card interest). ...They gave me a wrong amount of refund (of course less than should be). I will NEVER shop at this store.
Description of Work: The store location is Medford, MN. I bought 2 ottomans. Both of them were not at the store but in stock at warehouse, so the sales person told me he will call me when they came to the store.

The sofa and table were great - delivered with no problem. The recliner was another story. They had to bring 4 chairs (so I had to be home 4 mornings) because they were all bent and broken. Finally I kept the bad chair because it wasn't worth giving up yet another day to get one that worked well. The delivery guys said this was a common problem with the item I bought. I'd asked that they check it in the warehouse, but they never did.

I noticed the day after it was delivered that two sections did not have a skirt in all of the places it should. They said no problem so they would send us a new unit. They have sent us three units and none of them have had the correct skirting. This is mainly a report on the quality control. The latest piece they sent me the backs did not line up correctly, and not just barely. The service with this company was great, but it was the product that they sold me that is the main problem.
